Before the server receives the position code data sent by the digital pen, the digital pen needs to be registered in the server. After registration, data transmission can be carried out between the digital pen and the server, the digital pen sends a registration request message to the server, and the registration request contains identification information such as a serial number of the digital pen; the server returns a response message to the digital pen after storing the identification information of the digital pen. The server and the digital pen can perform bidirectional data transmission.

The ID information of the first terminal includes a serial number of the digital pen, and the like, the user identification information of the first terminal specifically includes a user name and the like associated with the first terminal, and the geographic location identification information includes geographic location information where the first terminal is located, and the email address information includes an email address and the like associated with the first terminal. The characteristics of the first terminal and the characteristics of the user can be identified from the above identification parameters.

The second position information is position information of the functional data, the position information is associated with corresponding functional information, and the server can inquire the corresponding functional information according to the position information, so that corresponding functional operation is realized. The function information may implement different application services, such as sending an email, sending a fax, clicking to obtain application data, and the like.
The purpose of identifying and then sending the position code is to directly perform corresponding operations, such as displaying, storing, performing corresponding function operations and the like, after the data receiving party receives the data, without decoding and identifying steps, thereby reducing the complexity of application service development.
