Description

Ankle joint fuses subassembly
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical instruments, in particular to an ankle joint fusion component.
Background
Currently, ankle joint fusion is one of the effective methods for treating ankle and foot joint fractures, relieving severe pain caused by arthritis and the like, stopping lesions, correcting ankle and foot deformities and maintaining stability thereof. Through years of development, ankle and foot joint fusion surgery has a plurality of styles, and the ankle and foot fusion fixing mode in the prior art comprises screw fixing, steel plate fixing, intramedullary nail fixing, external fixing frame fixing and the like.
For good bone fusion, satisfactory stability can be obtained by screw fixation. However, screw fixation is difficult to provide for firm fixation in osteoporotic patients, and steel plate fixation is preferred for such patients. However, because the ankle soft tissue is thin and the traction resistance is poor, the soft tissue injury is aggravated by the implantation of the steel plate, so the ankle soft tissue is not suitable for patients with poor soft tissue conditions. In addition, in patients with severe osteoporosis, if the long-term bone fusion effect is not good enough, fatigue fracture may occur in the steel plate. The intramedullary nail is used for fixation, which has advantages in rigidity, anti-rotation, dynamic pressurization and stress conduction, but is not suitable for patients with active infection, serious malformation and serious osteoporosis because the risk of infection and embolism is increased by marrow expansion.
For patients with severe comminuted fracture, severe bone defect, osteoporosis and poor soft tissue conditions, a large amount of autologous bone needs to be taken for fusion, firm initial fixation is difficult to realize, and the screws and the steel plates bear excessive load in the body for a long time, so that fatigue fracture is easy to cause. Accordingly, there is no effective fixation method for severe comminuted fracture, severe bone defect, osteoporosis, and poor soft tissue conditions.
