Description

Engine cover for vehicle
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of automobile body safety design, in particular to an engine cover for reducing pedestrian head collision injury value.
Background
C-NCAP (China New Car Assessment Program, new vehicle assessment program), including pedestrian protection assessment, including head assessment and leg assessment. The head evaluation method is as follows: i.e. with 3.5kg of child's head striking the hood fender area at an angle of 50 deg. to the horizontal and with 4.5kg of adult's head striking the hood fender area at an angle of 65 deg. to the horizontal. When the head impacts the hood region, the head impact device (the head impact device for test simulates the human head to impact the hood region) has an injury value, i.e. an HIC value (head impact criteria), and a score standard is provided for the HIC value of the head, wherein different HIC values correspond to different scores after the head impact of each point, for example, if the HIC value of the head is less than 650, the head impact score of the point is 1 score. And for the vehicle model evaluated by C-NCAP five stars, the minimum score of the pedestrian protection total score is 9.75 points or more. Therefore, in order to pursue five-star evaluation, it is necessary to increase the head score. Typically, the head injury value is typically greater than 1000 when the head impacts the hood and fender slit area, with a single impact point score of 0.5 minutes. Therefore, if the score value on the large surface of the hood can be improved, a higher head collision score can be obtained, and the protection of the head of the pedestrian during collision is satisfied.
Under the premise that all large main engine factories hope that the whole vehicle is reduced in weight, the aluminum alloy hood is considered, but the common hood design still refers to the steel sheet metal design, namely the mesh hood inner plate and the lock catch reinforcing plate (or called lock catch supporting plate), and cannot meet the protection requirement of the pedestrian head during collision.

Detailed Description
For a better understanding of the technical content of the present invention, specific examples are set forth below, along with the accompanying drawings.
Aspects of the invention are described in this disclosure with reference to the drawings, in which are shown a number of illustrative embodiments. The embodiments of the present disclosure are not necessarily intended to include all aspects of the invention. It should be understood that the various concepts and embodiments described above, as well as those described in more detail below, may be implemented in any of a number of ways, as the disclosed concepts and embodiments are not limited to any implementation. Additionally, some aspects of the disclosure may be used alone or in any suitable combination with other aspects of the disclosure.
The hood for a vehicle according to the present invention, particularly an aluminum alloy hood, can be used particularly for a new energy vehicle such as a plug-in type, a range-extending type, a pure electric vehicle, etc., and has a hood outer panel, a hood inner panel, a hinge reinforcing panel, and a latch reinforcing panel as a whole. And the device is combined with the figures 1-6, and is also provided with an outer plate supporting plate which is fixedly connected on the hood inner plate and is connected/bonded with the hood outer plate, and meanwhile, the device is assisted with the detailed optimization design of the hood inner plate, such as inner plate holes on inclined planes, outer plate supporting plate lap joints and outer plate supporting plate lap joint periphery holes on two sides of the lap joints, so that the movement and deformation quantity caused when the collision is increased, the downward deformation quantity of the outer plate supporting plate is driven, the downward deformation quantity of the hood outer plate is increased, the displacement quantity in the head collision movement process is finally improved, and the purpose of reducing the head injury value is realized.
As shown in fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a hood inner panel, reference numeral 2 denotes a hinge reinforcing panel, reference numeral 3 denotes an outer panel support panel, and reference numeral 4 denotes a latch reinforcing panel.
In the assembly, the hood outer panel is assembled to the vehicle so as to cover the engine compartment in an openable and closable manner. The hood inner panel 1 is provided on the lower side of the hood outer panel and joined to the hood outer panel. Since the hood inner panel 1 is located under the hood outer panel as a whole, and the detailed structural design of the hood inner panel, which will be described in more detail in the following embodiments of the present invention, is more obvious and intuitive to directly observe the structure thereof, we have not labeled the hood outer panel in the embodiments.
As shown in fig. 1, for convenience of explanation, we define a hood inner panel front region 3A and a hood inner panel rear region 3B.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the hood inner panel 1 has a main body portion 10 extending from a hood rear region toward a hood front region, the main body portion 10 defining an inner panel inner side surface facing the hood outer panel and an outer side surface facing away from the hood outer panel. With reference to fig. 1, we can more easily observe the inner side of the hood inner panel structure and the connection mode, which faces the hood outer panel when assembled.
The outer panel support plate 3, as in the exemplary construction of fig. 1, 3, 4, 5, has a body portion 31 and front and rear landing legs 32, 33 connected to the body portion, the front and rear landing legs 23, 33 being configured to be connected to the inner side of the body portion of the hood inner panel, for example, by welding or riveting with aluminum.
The body portion 31 of the outer panel support at least partially covers the main body portion 10 of the hood inner panel 1 and the front region 3A of the hood inner panel.
In a preferred example, the body 31 is preferably a mesh-shaped body having a plurality of holes 34 distributed in a mesh shape.
In some examples, the outer plate support plate 3 also has glue pieces 35, such as the glue pieces distributed over the body portion 31 in fig. 4. In other embodiments, an adhesive layer may also be provided. The outer panel support plate 3 is bonded to the hood outer panel by adhesive at the time of assembly of the hood inner panel 1 with the hood outer panel.
In these cases, the front part of the mesh outer plate support plate is connected with the hood inner plate through the multipoint cantilever (leg part connection), so that the strength is reduced as much as possible under the condition of meeting the anti-dent performance of the hood, the purpose of improving the head collision score is achieved, and the number of the leg connections is 2 or more; the rear part of the support leg is connected with the inner plate of the hood through a multi-point cantilever (the support leg is connected), and the number of the support leg is 2 or more.
In combination with the deformation principle examples of fig. 5 and 6, it is assumed that the latticed outer plate support plate is a latticed rope, and when the latticed outer plate support plate is under the action of tensile force, the rope can twist in a dislocation manner, so that the length between the ropes is increased, and the outer plate support plate 3 is equivalent to external input certain pressure after being impacted by the head of a pedestrian, as shown in the figure, the latticed outer plate support plate acts on the inner plate of the hood and is equivalent to extrusion by external force, so that the latticed outer plate is deformed downwards, so that twisting is generated, the space for downward movement of the head is increased, and the injury value of the head can be reduced.
In some alternative examples, the hole portions 34 have such a tendency in the mesh-like outer plate support plate that: the size cross-sectional area of the hole is gradually reduced from the central line of the length direction of the cover to the development trend of the two ends. The outermost edge is a hole portion having the smallest cross-sectional area. And a rear overlap leg is arranged at the outer edge of the minimum hole part. The inner edge of the front lap legs are provided with front lap legs.
In some embodiments, the main body portion 10 of the hood inner panel 1 further has an outer panel support slope 16 located at an edge of the main body portion, and a plurality of inner panel openings 11 are further provided at positions of the outer panel support slope, including: openings are arranged at the four corner parts in an opposite manner; at least 3 openings at a rear side edge extending in a hood width direction; at least 1 opening hole of a front side edge extending in a hood width direction; at least 1 opening provided along each of both side edges extending in the longitudinal direction of the hood.
In the example shown in fig. 1 and 2, an opening is provided at each of the four corner portions, which are disposed opposite to each other; 3 openings are provided in the rear side edge extending in the hood width direction; 2 openings are provided in a front side edge extending in a hood width direction; 1 opening is provided at each of both side edges extending in the longitudinal direction of the hood. It is particularly preferred that these inner plate openings be rectangular openings and extend through the outer plate support ramps 16. Thus, the green area of the head HIC value score table on the whole hood large surface is increased, thereby increasing the head impact score value on the hood large surface.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the main body portion 10 of the hood inner panel 1 further has at least two rows of outer panel support bosses extending in the hood longitudinal direction, each row having a plurality of bosses, wherein the outer panel support bosses of one row adjacent to the hood rear region are right circular bosses 15-1, 4 or more in number; the outer plate support bosses in a row adjacent to the front region of the hood are oblong bosses 15-2, 4 or more in number.
In a further example, the main body portion 10 of the hood inner panel 1 further has an outer panel support hole 14 provided in the outer panel support boss, and the shape of the outer panel support hole 14 is adapted to the outer panel support boss (15-1, 15-2). I.e. the same. The outer plate support openings 14 of the right circular boss are right circular openings, and the outer plate support openings 14 of the oblong boss are oblong openings.
Therefore, the oblong boss is beneficial to reducing the local rigidity of the inner plate of the hood, is beneficial to scoring the head of the pedestrian protection, and is beneficial to resisting concavity.
In other embodiments, the main body portion of the hood inner panel 1 further has an outer panel support plate overlap 12 provided adjacent to the oblong boss, and is provided to be connected with the rear overlap leg of the outer panel support plate 3.
The main body of the hood inner panel further has outer panel support plate overlap point peripheral openings 13 adjacent to the outer panel support plate overlap points 12, and the outer panel support plate overlap point peripheral openings 13 are in one-to-one correspondence with the outer panel support plate overlap points 12.
So, the matched design's planking backup pad overlap joint 12 and the planking backup pad overlap joint periphery trompil 13 of overlap joint both sides on the aircraft bonnet inner panel, when the head extrudees the aircraft bonnet downwards, the overlap joint increases the deflection through self peripheral unconstrained, and then further drives the downward deflection of planking backup pad to increase the downward deflection of aircraft bonnet planking, finally reach the displacement that promotes the head in the collision motion process, just lead to the purpose that reduces the head injury value, improved the collision score of head at the aircraft bonnet front portion.
Preferably, the outer panel support plate 3 is provided with a plurality of front and rear landing legs provided with end attachment locations 36 fixedly attached to the body portion of the hood inner panel by a multi-point cantilever connection, such as an aluminum welded or riveted connection.
According to the technical scheme, in the implementation of the invention, the structural design that the large net structure support and the multi-point connection of the front part of the large net support of the hood are connected with the inner plate of the hood, the multi-point connection and the partial connection of the rear part of the large net support and the inner plate of the hood can be pressed down is innovatively applied, and the design of the aluminum alloy hood can be orderly and efficiently promoted by combining the general opening design of the hood;
the pressing amount of the outer plate of the cover is increased by utilizing the twistable deformation structure (the outer plate supporting plate 3), so that the head collision injury value of pedestrians in the front of the cover is reduced, and the safety performance of the vehicle is improved.
The novel thought on the structural design of the traditional inner plate is introduced, the combination of a long round boss and a right round boss is adopted on the surface of the outer plate of the hood, which supports the hood, on the inner plate of the hood, the rigidity of the inner plate in the front-rear direction is reduced, the pedestrian protection is facilitated, and the concave resistance of the vehicle is improved; in addition, the design is conventional, but the design method sets forth the number and detail requirements of the holes, namely, the four corners of the outer plate supporting inclined plane are respectively provided with a rectangular hole, the front inclined plane is provided with 2 or more rectangular holes, the rear inclined plane is provided with 3 or more rectangular holes, the two side inclined planes are respectively provided with 1 or more rectangular holes, and in addition, the arrangement positions of the rectangular holes are also required, so that the rectangular holes penetrate through the inclined plane.
Through the hood structural design optimized by the system, the design of the aluminum alloy hood can be rapidly and efficiently pushed, and meanwhile, the effect of reducing the collision injury value of the pedestrian protection head can be achieved.
While the invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, it is not intended to be limiting. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and adaptations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims.
