[ detailed description of the invention ]
Please refer to the drawings, and particularly to fig. 1. The refrigerator 1 includes an insulated cabinet 2. The case 2 includes an inner container 10, a casing 11, and a heat insulating material (not shown) between the inner container 10 and the casing 11. The thermal insulation material may be formed by injecting a foaming agent between the inner container 10 and the outer case 11 during a foaming process. After the foaming process is completed, the inner container 10 and the outer container 11 are fixed together by the cured thermal insulation material.
The cabinet 2 has a top wall 20, left and right side walls 21, a rear wall 22, a bottom wall 23, and a plurality of horizontal first and second partition walls 6 and 8 between the top and bottom walls 20 and 23. These walls all have thermal insulation material therein and are therefore thermally insulated.
In the present embodiment, the inner container 10 has a plurality of box-shaped structures to define the respective storage compartments 4, 5, 9 (which will be described later in detail), so that the upper and lower surfaces of the first and second partition walls 6, 8 for partitioning the storage compartments are formed by the inner container 10, and the first and second partition walls 6, 8 are formed together with the peripheral walls (the top wall 20, the left and right side walls 21, the rear wall 22, the bottom wall 23) of the other box body 2 in the foaming process of the box body 2, and are an integral part of the box body 2.
In an alternative embodiment, the first and second partition walls 6, 8 may also be manufactured separately from the foaming process of the cabinet 2, i.e. after the cabinet 2 has been subjected to the foaming process, the separately provided first and second partition walls 6, 8 are then fixed in a non-detachable manner to the left and right side walls 21 and the rear wall 22 as an integral part of the cabinet 2.
The cabinet 2 is partitioned into a first packing compartment 4 located at an upper section, a second packing compartment 5 located immediately below the first packing compartment 4, and a third packing compartment 9 located at a lower section of the cabinet 2 by first and second partition walls 6, 8.
The first storage compartment 4 is surrounded by a top wall 20, left and right side walls 21, a rear wall 22, and a first partition wall 6, and has a first access opening 4a at the front end.
The second storage compartment 5 is surrounded by the first partition wall 6, the left and right side walls 21, the rear wall 22, and the second partition wall 8, and has a second access opening 4b at the front end. The first and second access ports 4a and 4b are located on the same plane.
The third storage compartment 9 is surrounded by the second partition wall 8, the left and right side walls 21, the rear wall 22, and the bottom wall 23, and has a third access opening (not shown) at a front end thereof. The third access opening may be closed by a drawer-type door 24. In this embodiment, the third access opening is closed by two drawer-type doors 24 distributed up and down.
The first, second and third storage compartments 4, 5, 9 are thermally isolated from and not in fluid communication with each other by respective partition walls. The storage parameters, such as temperature, within the first, second and third storage compartments 4, 5, 9 are independently controlled by the control system of the refrigerator. The refrigerator 1 may be provided with evaporators (not shown) corresponding to the first, second and third storage compartments 4, 5, 9, respectively.
In the present embodiment, the first storage compartment 4 is a refrigerator. The second holding compartment 5 may be a zero degree compartment, which is maintained at a temperature at or very close to zero degrees centigrade (e.g., slightly greater than zero degrees centigrade), and may also be referred to as an ice-cold compartment. The third storage compartment 9 may be a freezer compartment.
The second storage compartment 5 may be provided with a middle partition 52 to divide the second storage compartment 5 into the first storage space 50 and the second storage space 51 in the longitudinal direction. In the present embodiment, the middle partition 50 is provided with a plurality of through-holes (not shown) fluidly connecting the first and second storage spaces 50 and 51, so that the storage temperatures of the first and second storage spaces 50 and 51 may be the same. A moisturizing unit may be disposed in the second storage space 51 (e.g., at an upper end of the second storage space 51) to be particularly suitable for preserving foods such as vegetables, fruits, etc.
The front end surface 54 of the intermediate partition 50 is flush with the front end surfaces of the first partition wall 6 and the second partition wall 8.
The refrigerator 1 includes first and second door halves 3a and 3b hinged to left and right sides of the cabinet 2, respectively, and rotatably movable about respective longitudinal axes to selectively close and open the first storage compartment 4. The first door 3a and the second door 3b may also be referred to as french-door.
The first door 3a and the second door 3b respectively comprise a hinged side 30 hinged on the cabinet 2 and a free side 31 opposite to the hinged side 30. In the present embodiment, the first gate 3a and the second gate 3b have the same width. In an alternative embodiment it is also possible that the first gate 3a and the second gate 3b have different widths.
The first door 3a and the second door 3b extend from the top wall 20 to the second partition wall 8, covering both the first access opening 4a and the second access opening 4b in the longitudinal direction, so that the second storage compartment 5 can also be closed and opened by the first door 3a and the second door 3b being opened in half.
The rear sides of the first door 3a and the second door 3b are each provided with a sealing gasket 25 to be sealingly connected with the front end surfaces of the cabinet 2 at the first storage compartment 4 and the second storage compartment 5.
In this embodiment, each sealing gasket 25 is disposed around the periphery of the corresponding door 3a, 3b, and includes a longitudinal section 25a extending in the longitudinal direction and a lateral section 25b extending in the lateral direction along the upper and lower sides of the first door 3a or the second door 3b along the hinged side 30 and the free side 31 of the first door 3a or the second door 3b, respectively. The length of the longitudinal strip 25a is greater than the sum of the heights of the first packing compartment 4 and the second packing compartment 5. The longitudinal strips 25 and the transverse strips 2b are joined to form a continuous sealing frame.
When the first and second doors 3a and 3b are in the closed position, the sealing gasket 25 is closely abutted to the front end of the cabinet 2 to reduce heat exchange between the first and second storage compartments 4, 5 and the outside. Wherein the longitudinal strips 25a at the free sides 31 of the first and second doors 3a, 3b abut closely against the front end surfaces 7 of the first partition walls 6.
The rear sides of the first and second doors 3a and 3b are provided with an upper protruding frame 60 and a lower protruding frame 61, respectively. The upper protruding frame 60 and the lower protruding frame 61 are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction and located inside the sealing liner 25. The upper and lower ledges 60, 61 extend into the first and second storage compartments 4, 5, respectively, when the first and second doors 3a, 3b are closed. The respective portions of the upper protruding frame 60 are adjacent to the top wall 20, the left/right side walls 21, the first partition wall 6, and the respective portions of the lower protruding frame 61 are adjacent to the left/right side walls 21, the first partition wall 6, the second partition wall 8, so that the heat exchange between the first and second storage compartments 4, 5 and the outside can be further reduced.
When both the first door 3a and the second door 3b are closed, the side surfaces 26a and 26b close to the free sides 31 of the first door 3a and the second door 3b are opposed with a gap therebetween, the gap extending over the entire height of the first door 3a and the second door 3 b.
In this embodiment, the first door 3a comprises a longitudinal bar 27 attached to its free side 31 to close the portion of the gap corresponding to the first packing compartment 4.
The longitudinal bar 27 has a plate-like structure and is hinged rotatably about a longitudinal axis to the first door 3 a. In this embodiment, the longitudinal bar 27 is attached to the upper ledge 60. When the first door 3a and the second door 3b are closed, the longitudinal rod 27 is rotated to a position parallel to the first door 3a, and the longitudinal sections 25a of the sealing gaskets 25 of the first door 3a and the second door 3b are pressed against the front surfaces of the longitudinal rod 27, respectively. In this way, the longitudinal bar 27 forms a first covering structure covering the gap between the opposite side surfaces 26a, 26b of the first and second doors 3a, 3b, at the location corresponding to the first storage compartment 4.
When the first door 3a and the second door 3b are closed, pulling the first door 3a outward may rotate the longitudinal rod 27 to a position substantially parallel to the side surface 26a of the first door 3a, so that the abutting state between the longitudinal rod 27 and the second door 3b is eliminated, and the first door 3a may be opened while the second door 3b is still kept in the closed state.
When the first door 3a is in the closed position, in the process of closing the second door 3b, the second door 3b presses its free side 31 against the longitudinal rod 27 in the retracted position to rotate to a position substantially parallel to the first door 3a immediately before reaching the closed position, and finally the sealing gaskets 25 of the first door 3a and the second door 3b tightly engage the front surface of the longitudinal rod 27.
Since the longitudinal rod 27 is rotatably coupled to the first door 3a, it is not necessary to open or close the first door 3a and the second door 3b in order, and it is possible to open only either one of the doors while keeping the other door closed.
In the above embodiment, the longitudinal bar is provided on the first door 3 a. However, in an alternative embodiment, it is also possible that the longitudinal rod 27 is arranged at the free side of the second door 3 b.
In an alternative embodiment, the non-rotatable fixing of the longitudinal bar to the first door or the second door also allows sealing of the gap at the first storage compartment 4, but in this case the door provided with the longitudinal bar must be closed first to close the door not provided with the longitudinal bar and must be opened first to open the door not provided with the longitudinal bar.
When the first and second doors 3a and 3b are closed, the gap of the first and second doors 3a and 3b at the second storage compartment 5 is covered by the front end surface 54 of the middle partition 52, and the longitudinal strip 25a of the sealing gasket 25 closely abuts against the front end surface 54 to prevent the second storage compartment 5 from communicating through a connection seam that may exist between the front end surface 54 and the first and second doors 3a and 3 b. In this way, the front face 54 of the intermediate partition 52 located on the cabinet 2 forms a second covering structure that covers the gap at the second storage compartment 5 between the opposite side surfaces 26a, 26b of the first and second doors 3a, 3 b. The intermediate partition 52 can be provided with a thermally insulating material near the front face 54 to reduce the loss of cold at this point of the second storage compartment 5.
In an alternative implementation, the gap between the first door 3a and the second door 3b at the location corresponding to the second storage compartment 5 is also covered by a longitudinal bar connected to the first door 3a or the second door 3 b.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic partial perspective view of a refrigerator 1' according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the main difference between this embodiment and the embodiment shown in fig. 1 is that: the second storage compartment 5 is not provided with a median partition for dividing the second storage compartment 5, but the front end of the second storage space 5 is provided with a vertical cover plate 55. The cover panel 55 has a height that substantially corresponds to the second storage compartment 5. The cover plate 55 is plate-shaped, and its front surface and the front end surfaces of the first and second partition walls 6, 8 are located in the same plane, and when the first and second doors 3a, 3b are closed, the sealing gasket 25 located behind the first and second doors 3a, 3b abuts against the front surface of the cover plate 55 to prevent the second storage compartment 5 from being communicated with the cover plate 55 through fluid communication between the first and second doors 3a, 3 b. The covering plate 55 is provided with a thermally insulating material to reduce the loss of cold at this point of the second storage compartment 5.
Further, as can be seen from fig. 2, the seal gasket behind the first door 3a and the second door 3b further includes a laterally extending cross bar 25c corresponding to the first partition wall 6.
The cross bar 25c may be integrally formed with the other portion of the sealing liner. For example, the sealing-liner includes a first sealing-liner frame corresponding to the first packing compartment 4 and a second sealing-liner frame corresponding to the second packing compartment 5, the first sealing-liner frame and the second sealing-liner frame sharing one transverse strip 25c or having one transverse strip, respectively. In addition, it is also possible that the cross bar 25c is configured independently of the longitudinal section 25a, for example, the sealing gasket includes a continuous sealing gasket frame disposed around the rear peripheries of the first door 3a and the second door 3b as shown in fig. 1 and a cross bar disposed between the upper protruding frame 60 and the lower protruding frame 61 independently of the continuous sealing gasket frame.
In the above embodiment, the first covering structure to cover the gap of the first door and the second door at the first packing compartment and the second covering structure to cover the gap of the first door and the second door at the second packing compartment are separately provided. However, the invention should not be limited thereto and in an alternative embodiment the first door and the second door may be covered in the gap between the first and second storage compartments by an integrally provided cover structure. For example, the longitudinal bar 27 shown in fig. 1 and 2 may extend the entire height of the first and second stowage compartments 4, 5, and in this embodiment, the first dividing wall 6 and/or the longitudinal bar 27 may have a recess away from each other to receive each other.
In addition, as shown in fig. 3, the first door 3a and the second door 3b are provided on the side surfaces 26a, 26b of the free sides with a first sealing means 40a and a second sealing means 40b, respectively, which extend over the entire height of the first packing compartment 4 and the second packing compartment 5, and which cooperate with each other.
The first and second sealing means 40a and 40b may comprise magnetic members 41a and 41b, respectively, provided with mutual attraction. At least one of the first and second sealing devices 40a, 40b includes a deformable portion 42. Therefore, when the first door 3a and the second door 3b are closed, the first sealing means 40a and the second sealing means 40b attract each other, deform to closely adhere to each other, thereby achieving the closing and sealing of the gap G.
In addition, in the above embodiment, the second packing compartment and the first packing compartment have the same width, and are closed by both the first door 3a and the second door 3 b. In other embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, two side-by-side second packing compartments 5', 5 "are provided below the first packing compartment 4. The two second storage compartments 5', 5 "are separated by an insulated longitudinal partition wall 56, the internal temperature of which can be independently controlled by the control system. The two second packing compartments 5', 5 "are closed and opened by one of two doors 3a, 3b for closing the first packing compartment 4, respectively.
