Detailed Description
In order to make those skilled in the art better understand the technical solution of the present invention, a flexible display device and a method for detecting touch pressure provided by the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example 1
Embodiment 1 of the present invention provides a flexible display device, as shown in fig. 1, the flexible display device includes a processor, a flexible display panel 1, and a pressure sensor 2 and a touch sensor 3 disposed on a surface of the flexible display panel 1, where the processor is connected to the touch sensor 3 and the pressure sensor 2. The flexible display panel 1 may be an OLED display panel, the flexible display panel 1 includes a flexible substrate 11 and an OLED light emitting device 12 disposed on the flexible substrate 11, and the pressure sensor 2 and the touch sensor 3 may both be located on one side of the OLED light emitting device 12 away from the flexible substrate 11, or one of the pressure sensor and the touch sensor may be located on one side of the OLED light emitting device 12 away from the flexible substrate 11, and the other one of the pressure sensor and the touch sensor is located on one side of the flexible substrate 11 away from the OLED light emitting device 12. In the embodiment of the present invention, the touch sensor 3 is located on one side of the OLED light emitting device 12 away from the flexible substrate 11, and the pressure sensor 2 is located on one side of the flexible substrate 11 away from the OLED light emitting device 12.
The touch sensor 3 is configured to detect a touch position on the flexible display panel 1, the pressure sensor 2 is configured to detect an initial stress and a stress of the touch position at each position on the flexible display panel 1, and send the detected initial stress and the detected stress of the touch position at each position on the flexible display panel 1 to the processor, and the processor is configured to determine a touch pressure at the touch position according to the initial stress and the stress of the touch position at each position on the flexible substrate 1.
Specifically, when the flexible display panel 1 is not touched, the pressure sensor 2 can detect the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1, and send the detected initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 to the processor. When the flexible display panel 1 touches, the pressure sensor 2 can detect the stress at the touch position and send the detected stress at the touch position to the processor. The processor can determine the initial stress of the touch position from the initial stresses of the touch position detected by the touch sensor 3 at each position on the flexible display panel 1, and calculate the touch pressure of the touch position according to the determined initial stress of the touch position and the received stress of the touch position. For example, when the initial stress at the touch position and the stress at the touch position are both compressive stresses (i.e., the touch position is compressed), the touch pressure at the touch position is the difference between the stress at the touch position and the initial stress at the touch position; when the initial stress of the touch position is a tensile stress (i.e. the touch position is stretched), and the stress of the touch position is a compressive stress, the touch pressure of the touch position is the sum of the stress of the touch position and the initial stress of the touch position.
In the flexible display device provided in embodiment 1 of the present invention, when the flexible display panel is not touched, the pressure sensor 2 can detect the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1, and send the detected initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 to the processor, when the flexible display panel is touched, the pressure sensor 2 can detect the stress at the touch position, and send the detected stress at the touch position to the processor, so that the processor can determine the initial stress at the touch position from the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 according to the touch position detected by the touch sensor 3, and calculate the touch pressure at the touch position according to the determined initial stress at the touch position and the received stress at the touch position, thereby correspondingly removing the influence of the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 on the detection of the touch pressure, and then the accuracy of the flexible display device for detecting the touch pressure is improved.
Preferably, when the flexible display panel is not touched, the pressure sensor 2 detects the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 according to a preset period, so that the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 can be updated according to the period, and the accuracy of the flexible display device in detecting the touch pressure is better improved. It should be noted that, when the flexible display panel is not touched and the flexible display panel 1 is deformed, the pressure sensor 2 may be used to detect the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1, so as to update the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1, but the above-mentioned solution needs to additionally provide a detection device for detecting whether the flexible display panel 1 is deformed.
The touch sensor 3 may be a resistive touch sensor, a capacitive touch sensor or an infrared touch sensor, and those skilled in the art will recognize that any touch sensor 3 capable of determining a touch position is within the scope of the embodiments of the present invention. The structures of the touch sensor 3 and the flexible display panel 1 are the same as those of the prior art, and are not described herein again.
The structure and operation of the pressure sensor 2 will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 1 and 2.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the pressure sensor 2 may include a processing unit 21, a driving unit 22, a plurality of electrode pads 23, a plurality of first signal lines 24 parallel to each other, and a plurality of second signal lines 25 parallel to each other, where the first signal lines 24 and the second signal lines 25 are arranged in a crossing manner and are insulated from each other, a pressure detecting unit 26 is arranged between two adjacent first signal lines 24 and two adjacent second signal lines 25, and the electrode pads 23 are arranged in the pressure detecting unit 26 and connected to the adjacent first signal lines 24 and the adjacent second signal lines 25 in the pressure detecting unit 26. The driving unit 22 is connected to each first signal line 24, and is configured to input a first signal to each first signal line 24 one by one, and the processing unit 21 is connected to each second signal line 25, and is configured to control the driving unit 22 to input a first signal to each first signal line 24 one by one, and determine the stress of each electrode pad 23 according to the first signal input by each first signal line 24 and a second signal output by each second signal line 25.
Specifically, embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described by taking as an example that the first signal lines 24 are arranged in the column direction, the second signal lines 25 are arranged in the row direction, and the pressure detection units 26 are arranged in a matrix of 3 rows and 3 columns. The electrode pads 23 in the same row of pressure detecting cells 26 are connected to the same second signal line 25, and the electrode pads 23 in the same column of pressure detecting cells 26 are connected to the same first signal line 24. When the flexible display panel 1 is not touched, the processing unit 21 may control the driving unit 22 to input a first signal to the first signal line 24 located in the first column, and at this time, the processing unit 21 may receive a second signal output by each row of the second signal lines 25, and determine the stress of each electrode pad 23 located in the first column according to the first signal and each second signal. The processing unit 21 may further control the driving unit 22 to input the first signal to the first signal lines 24 of the second row and the third row, and accordingly, may determine the stress of each electrode sheet 23 located on the second row and the third row, respectively, so as to obtain the stress of each electrode sheet 23, that is, obtain the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1.
When the flexible display panel is touched, the processing unit 21 may control the driving unit 22 to input a first signal to the first signal line 24 corresponding to the touch position according to the touch position, and receive a second signal output by the second signal line 25 corresponding to the touch position, so as to determine the stress of the electrode sheet 23 in the touch position, that is, the stress of the touch position. The pressure sensor 2 is simple in structure, and is easy to detect the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 and the stress of the touch position.
The pressure sensor 2 may be a resistive strain gauge pressure sensor, a semiconductor strain gauge pressure sensor, an inductive pressure sensor, or a resonant pressure sensor. Preferably, the pressure sensor 2 is a resistance strain gauge pressure sensor, which has higher precision and better linear relationship, and can better improve the accuracy of the pressure sensor 2 in detecting the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 and the stress of the touch position.
As shown in fig. 2, the electrode sheet 23 is a resistance strain gauge, the first signal is a first voltage signal, and the second signal is a second voltage signal. The processing unit 21 may determine the resistance value of each electrode pad 23 according to the first voltage signal input by each first signal line 24 and the second voltage signal output by each second signal line 25, and calculate the stress of each electrode pad 23 according to the resistance value of each electrode pad 23.
Specifically, in the working process of the pressure sensor 2, a preset constant current may be applied to each electrode sheet 23, and when the stress of the electrode sheet 23 changes, the resistance of the electrode sheet 23 changes, so that the difference value between the first voltage signal and the second voltage signal (i.e., the voltage at two ends of the electrode sheet 23) corresponding to the electrode sheet 23 changes, and thus the resistance of the corresponding electrode sheet 23 may be determined according to the first voltage signal and the second voltage signal.
When the electrode sheet 23 generates compressive stress (i.e., the electrode sheet 23 is compressed), the length of the electrode sheet 23 is reduced and the cross-sectional area is increased, which correspondingly reduces the resistance of the electrode sheet 23, and when the electrode sheet 23 generates tensile stress (i.e., the electrode sheet 23 is stretched), the length of the electrode sheet 23 is increased and the cross-sectional area is reduced, which correspondingly increases the resistance of the electrode sheet 23, so that the magnitude and direction of the stress of the electrode sheet 23 can be determined according to the magnitude of the resistance of the electrode sheet 23.
Note that the material of the electrode sheet 23 may include constantan, nickel-aluminum alloy, gamma, or iron-chromium-aluminum alloy.
Preferably, the driving unit 22 is a gate driving chip, and the gate driving chip can sequentially input the first voltage signal to each first signal line 24, and the gate driving chip has a simple structure and is convenient for implementing timing control of each first signal line 24.
Further, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the pressure sensor 2 may further include an amplifier 27, and the amplifier 27 is connected to the processing unit 21 and the second signal line 25, respectively, for amplifying the second signal output by the second signal line 25.
In particular, the inverting input V of the amplifier 27-A common input terminal V connected to the second signal line 25 and a first terminal of a constant resistor 29+And the output terminal is connected to the second terminal of the processing unit 21 and the fixed resistor 29. The amplifier 27 can amplify the second signal output from the second signal line 25 and send the amplified second signal to the processing unit 21. The processing unit 21 may determine the resistance value of the electrode pad 23 according to the first voltage signal and the amplified second signal, and accordingly may amplify the determined resistance value of the electrode pad 23, i.e. may amplify the response of the electrode pad 23Therefore, the sensitivity of the pressure sensor 2 to the stress detection of the electrode plate 23 can be improved, and the accuracy of the flexible display device to the touch pressure detection is correspondingly and better improved.
Since the voltage at inverting input V-and the voltage at non-inverting input V + of amplifier 27 are both zero and current I1 through electrode pad 23 is equal to current I2 through fixed-value resistor 29, processing unit 21 may calculate the resistance of electrode pad 23 by the following equation:
R1=(V1*R2)/V2
where R1 is a resistance value of the electrode pad 23, V1 is a first voltage signal input to the first signal line 24, R2 is a resistance value of the fixed resistor 29, and V2 is an amplified second voltage signal output from the second signal line 25.
Further, as shown in fig. 4, the pressure sensor 2 may further include at least one selector 28, an input terminal of the selector 28 is connected to the plurality of second signal lines 25, and an output terminal of the selector 28 is connected to the amplifier 27, for selecting to transmit the second voltage signal on one of the connected second signal lines 25 to the connected amplifier 27.
Specifically, during the operation of the pressure sensor 2, the selector 28 may select one by one to send the second voltage signal on one of the connected second signal lines 25 to the connected amplifier 27. The number of the amplifiers 27 corresponds to the number of the selectors 28 one by one, and the corresponding amplifiers 27 correspond to the plurality of second signal lines 25, so that the number of the amplifiers 27 can be reduced, and the number of the connection ends of the processing unit 21 and the amplifiers 27 can be reduced, thereby simplifying the structure of the pressure sensor 2 and correspondingly reducing the cost of the pressure sensor 2. The embodiment of the present invention is described by taking an example in which the input terminal of the selector 28 is connected to two second signal lines 25, but it is needless to say that the input terminal of the selector 28 is connected to three, four or more second signal lines 25.
Example 2
Embodiment 2 of the present invention further provides a method for detecting touch pressure, where the method for detecting touch pressure is applied to a flexible display device, and as shown in fig. 1, fig. 4, and fig. 5, the flexible display device includes a processor, a flexible display panel 1, and a pressure sensor 2 and a touch sensor 3 disposed on a surface of the flexible display panel 1, and the processor is connected to the touch sensor 3 and the pressure sensor 2.
The method comprises the following steps:
step 1, detecting initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1.
Specifically, the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 may be detected according to a preset period. Therefore, the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 can be updated according to the period, and the accuracy of the pressure sensor 2 in detecting the initial stress of each position on the flexible display device can be better improved.
The initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 can be detected using the pressure sensor 2. The pressure sensor 2 may include a plurality of electrode pads 23, a plurality of first signal lines 24 parallel to each other, and a plurality of second signal lines 25 parallel to each other, the first signal lines 24 and the second signal lines 25 are disposed in a crossing manner and insulated from each other, a pressure detection unit 26 is disposed between two adjacent first signal lines 24 and two adjacent second signal lines 25, and the electrode pads 23 are disposed in the pressure detection unit 26 and connected to the adjacent first signal lines 24 and the adjacent second signal lines 25 in the pressure detection unit 26.
The detecting of the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 (i.e. step 1) specifically includes: the first signal is input to each first signal line 24 one by one, and the stress of each electrode pad 31 is determined based on the first signal input to each first signal line 24 and the second signal output from each second signal line 25.
Preferably, the pressure sensor 2 is a resistance strain gauge pressure sensor, the corresponding first signal is a first voltage signal, the corresponding second signal is a second voltage signal, and the electrode plate 23 is a resistance strain gauge. The resistance strain gauge pressure sensor has higher precision and better linear relation, and can better improve the accuracy of the pressure sensor 2 in detecting the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1. Correspondingly, the step of determining the stress of each electrode pad 31 according to the first signal input by each first signal line 24 and the second signal output by each second signal line 25 specifically includes: the resistance value of each electrode pad 23 is determined based on the first voltage signal input from each first signal line 24 and the second voltage signal output from each second signal line 25, and the stress of each electrode pad 23 is determined based on the resistance value of each electrode pad 23.
Further, the step of determining the stress of each electrode pad 31 according to the first signal input by each first signal line 24 and the second signal output by each second signal line 25 specifically includes: the second signal output from each second signal line 25 is amplified, the resistance value of each electrode pad 23 is determined based on the first signal input from each first signal line 24 and the amplified second signal output from each second signal line 25, and the stress of each electrode pad 23 is determined based on the resistance value of each electrode pad 23. In this way, the sensitivity of the pressure sensor 2 to stress detection of the respective electrode pieces 23 can be improved.
And 2, when the touch position on the flexible display panel 1 is detected, detecting the stress of the touch position.
Specifically, the touch sensor 3 may be used to detect a touch position on the flexible display panel 1, and when the touch sensor 3 detects the touch position on the flexible display panel 1, the pressure sensor 2 may be used to detect the stress of the touch position. The detecting the stress of the touch position by using the pressure sensor 2 specifically includes: inputting a first signal to a first signal line 24 corresponding to the touch position; determining the resistance value of the electrode plate 23 in the touch position according to a first signal input by the first signal line 24 corresponding to the touch position and a second signal output by the second signal line 25 corresponding to the touch position, and determining the stress of the touch position according to the resistance value of the electrode plate 23 in the touch position.
And 3, calculating the touch pressure of the touch position according to the initial stress of each position on the flexible display panel 1 and the stress of the touch position.
Specifically, the processor may receive the initial stress and the stress of the touch position at each position on the flexible display panel 1 sent by the pressure sensor 2 and the touch position sent by the touch sensor 3, may determine the initial stress of the touch position from the initial stresses of the touch position at each position on the flexible display panel 1 according to the touch position, and may determine the touch pressure of the touch position according to the determined initial stress of the touch position and the received stress of the touch position.
It should be noted that, the processor may also receive the initial resistance value and the resistance value of the touch position at each position on the flexible display panel 1 sent by the pressure sensor 2, and the touch position sent by the touch sensor 3, and may determine the initial resistance value of the touch position from the initial resistance values of the positions on the flexible display panel 1 according to the touch position, and may find a difference between the determined initial resistance value of the touch position and the received resistance value of the touch position to obtain a resistance change value of the touch position on the flexible display panel 1, and accordingly may determine the touch pressure of the touch position according to the resistance change value of the touch position. The scheme for determining the touch pressure of the touch position does not need to consider the direction of the initial stress for touching each position on the flexible display panel 1 and the direction of the stress of the touch position.
In the method for detecting touch pressure according to embodiment 2 of the present invention, when the flexible display panel 1 is not touched, the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 is detected, and when the touch position on the flexible display panel 1 is detected, the stress at the touch position is detected, so that the initial stress at the touch position can be determined from the initial stresses at each position on the flexible display panel 1 according to the detected touch position, and the touch pressure at the touch position is calculated according to the determined initial stress at the touch position and the detected stress at the touch position, thereby correspondingly removing the influence of the initial stress at each position on the flexible display panel 1 on the touch pressure detection, and further improving the accuracy of the flexible display device on the touch pressure detection.
It will be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments taken to illustrate the principles of the present invention, which is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the invention, and these modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the invention.
