Abstract
The invention provides a method and a device for reporting capability information of a terminal, wherein the method comprises the following steps: acquiring requirement information for triggering the reporting of the capability information of the terminal; and actively reporting the capability information of the terminal to a network side according to the requirement information. According to the embodiment of the invention, the terminal actively reports the capability information of the terminal to the network side according to the self requirement information, so that the network side can carry out reasonable resource allocation and control according to the latest capability information; the reporting method of the capability information provided by the embodiment of the invention is realized based on the existing protocol flow, the realizing method is simple, the existing flow can be compatible, and the compatibility is high.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for reporting capability information of a terminal.
Background
With the continuous evolution of the third generation partnership project (3 GPP for short), the protocol versions are continuously updated. Terminals with different capabilities and different uses have also emerged. The network segment needs to know the capabilities that the terminal has in order to configure different resources according to the different capabilities of the terminal. In the existing protocols and schemes, the problem is solved by means of network query and capability report of the mobile terminal. The signaling flow is shown in fig. 1: 1. a mobile management entity MME sends an initial context establishment request; 2. if the initial context establishing request does not carry the wireless capability of the terminal, the base station eNB sends a terminal capability query message; 3. the terminal reports the wireless capability of the terminal to the base station; 4. and the base station sends the terminal capability information to a Mobile Management Entity (MME).
In the existing protocols and schemes, the terminal side reports the capability according to the query indication after receiving the capability query message of the base station, and the terminal itself does not actively report the capability. But as future communications evolve, especially in the future 5G scenario, the terminal will have more capabilities. The same terminal can also be used in different scenes, for example, one terminal can be used as a high data transmission device in a mobile broadband enhanced (eMBB) scene, and can also be used as an auxiliary driving device in an ultra-high reliability and ultra-low delay traffic (URLLC) scene. In different scenes, the network needs to provide different resources, and the network needs to set the terminal differently to meet the power consumption requirements in different scenes. Because the terminal cannot inform the network to update the capability information of the terminal according to the own requirement, the network cannot reasonably control according to the change of the terminal capability.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a method and a device for reporting capability information of a terminal, which solve the problem that in the prior art, the terminal reports the capability information only after receiving a capability query message from a network side, so that the network side cannot perform resource allocation according to the change of the capability information of the terminal in time, and the resources are excessive or insufficient.
In order to achieve the above object, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for reporting capability information of a terminal, including:
acquiring requirement information for triggering the reporting of the capability information of the terminal;
and actively reporting the capability information of the terminal to a network side according to the requirement information.
