Description

Coating liquid for reducing phenol release amount in mainstream smoke of paper filter stick type cigarette
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of cigarettes, and particularly provides a coating liquid for reducing phenol release amount in mainstream smoke of a paper filter type cigarette.
Background
Paper filter sticks are born in the last 20 th century, and are not widely applied due to the limitation of technical level of the cigarette filter stick industry and the like. Compared with the existing widely used acetate fiber filter stick, the paper filter stick has the advantages of excellent tar and nicotine filtering capability, lower price and the like. However, the paper filter stick also has some disadvantages, such as heavy paper smell, dry smoke, heat collapse, poor effect of intercepting phenol harmful components in smoke, and the like.
With the continuous focus of society on tar and harm reduction, the release amount of phenol in cigarette smoke is more important to be reduced. At present, there are many researches on the reduction of phenol in paper filter sticks, for example, in the US 5671757 patent, 25% -50% Lyocell fiber and 50% -75% wood pulp fiber are mixed and then are made into base paper of a filter stick, so that the filtering efficiency of the traditional paper filter stick can be remarkably improved, and especially the filtering effect on harmful phenols is improved. By adding a certain amount of cellulose diacetate fibers into pure wood pulp fibers and adopting wet papermaking and online dry embossing processes, Gapexiu et al develop a cellulose acetate-containing fiber paper (CAP base paper) and a filter stick (CAPF filter stick), compared with the cellulose acetate filter stick, the cigarette tar is reduced by 15-41 percent by using the CAPF filter stick, phenol is also reduced to a certain extent, and the cigarette sensory quality of the CAPF filter stick is similar to that of the cigarette with the cellulose acetate filter stick. Patent CN 101408012A discloses paper filter stick paper for reducing phenolic substances in cigarette smoke, a filter stick and a preparation method thereof, wherein the paper filter stick paper contains diacetate fibers functionalized by amine substances, and can effectively reduce harmful ingredients in the cigarette smoke, particularly tar and phenolic compounds. Yao Er Min et al compound the paper containing tea powder with cellulose acetate to prepare tea paper-cellulose acetate two compound filter stick, compared with the control cigarette, the sensory quality has no obvious change, and the tar, nicotine, free radical, NNK, benzo [ a ] ratio and phenol of the cigarette are all reduced in different degrees. Patent CN 101798352B discloses a modified cellulose with harm and tar reducing functions, a paper filter tip and a preparation method thereof, wherein organic compounds with epoxy groups are reacted with cellulose for etherification to obtain the modified cellulose, and the modified cellulose is added in the paper making process, so that the obtained paper filter tip can obviously reduce harmful components such as phenols in cigarette smoke.
In summary, the current research focuses on the modification of the base paper, and the amount and cost of the modified base paper are high. In addition, the phenol interception effect of the paper filter stick is poor.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide the coating liquid for the paper filter stick, the use of the coating liquid can effectively reduce the phenol release amount in the mainstream smoke of the paper filter stick type cigarette, and the coating liquid has the advantages of wide raw material source, environmental protection and low cost.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme: a coating liquid for reducing phenol release amount in mainstream smoke of a paper filter stick type cigarette comprises the following components in parts by weight:
35 to 85 percent of water
Cellulose derivative 10-40%
Wetting agent 5-20%
1 to 5 percent of binder
1 to 5 percent of tackifier
0.1 to 1 percent of dispersion stabilizer
0.1 to 0.5 percent of preservative
0.1 to 0.5 percent of defoaming agent.
The coating liquid is prepared by sequentially adding a cellulose derivative, a wetting agent, a binder, a tackifier, a dispersion stabilizer, a preservative and a defoaming agent into water.
The cellulose derivative is degraded cellulose acetate subjected to ball milling treatment, namely, the cellulose is subjected to ball milling treatment firstly, and then degradation (including acid hydrolysis, enzymolysis and oxidative degradation) and acetylation treatment are sequentially carried out; or after the cellulose is ball milled, acetylation treatment is firstly carried out, and then degradation treatment (including enzymolysis and oxidative degradation) is carried out. Wherein, the ball milling treatment, the degradation (acid hydrolysis, enzymolysis, oxidative degradation) treatment and the acetylation treatment all adopt the technology known by the technical personnel in the field.
The wetting agent is any one or more of polyethylene glycol 200, polyethylene glycol 400 and polyethylene glycol 600.
The adhesive adopts polyvinyl acetate emulsion (solid content is 50%).
The tackifier is maltodextrin, sucrose, maltose, etc., preferably maltodextrin.
The dispersion stabilizer adopts nano light calcium carbonate, bentonite, kaolin and the like, and preferably adopts nano light calcium carbonate.
The preservative adopts potassium sorbate, sodium dehydroacetate and the like, and preferably adopts potassium sorbate.
The defoaming agent adopts dimethyl silicone oil, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene pentaerythritol ether and polyoxyethylene polyethylene
Oxypropylamine ether, etc., and dimethyl silicone oil is preferred.
The coating liquid of the present invention has a solid content of about 15 to 65% by weight, a pH of about 6 to 8, a viscosity of about 50 to 500cps (25 ℃ C.), and good coating properties.
The coating liquid of the present invention is generally carried out at the coating stage, and the coating amount is generally from 10 to 30g/m2
The invention mechanism of the invention is as follows: because the crystallinity of the cellulose is higher, if the cellulose is directly modified, the reaction efficiency is lower, and the ball milling treatment is beneficial to reducing the crystallinity and improving the reaction efficiency, therefore, the invention firstly carries out the ball milling treatment on the cellulose. In addition, the cellulose derivative is cellulose subjected to acetylation treatment because the cellulose derivative has a good phenol interception effect on the acetate fiber and is mainly in great relation with acetyl contained in the acetate fiber, and meanwhile, the cellulose derivative is subjected to degradation treatment in order to improve the dispersion stability of the cellulose derivative in water. Because the cellulose derivative is in a suspension dispersion state in water, in order to be more uniformly and firmly coated on paper, a certain amount of wetting agent, adhesive and tackifier are also required to be added; meanwhile, in order to improve the standing stability of the coating liquid, a certain amount of dispersion stabilizer needs to be added. In addition, a certain amount of preservative and defoaming agent is added for the purpose of preventing corrosion and air bubbles.
The invention has the advantages that the use of the coating liquid can effectively reduce the phenol release amount in the mainstream smoke of the paper filter stick type cigarette, and the sensory quality of the cigarette is not influenced.
Detailed Description

The resulting coating liquid had a solid content of 45.6% and a Brookfield viscosity of 360cps (25 ℃ C.).
Example 3
Adding 35g of oxidized cellulose acetate subjected to ball milling, 6g of polyethylene glycol 200, 2g of polyethylene glycol 400, 5g of polyvinyl acetate emulsion, 3g of maltodextrin, 1g of nano light calcium carbonate, 0.4g of potassium sorbate and 0.4g of dimethyl silicone oil into 47g of water in sequence, and stirring for 1 hour. The coating liquid thus obtained had a solid content of 48.2% and a Brookfield viscosity of 455cps (25 ℃ C.).
Examples of the applications
The 3 coating liquids prepared in the above examples 1 to 3 were applied in the respective amounts of 11.8g/m2、11.9 g/m2、12.2 g/m2Then, the filter tip is respectively made into paper filter sticks by a filter tip forming machine and the paper filter sticks are rolled into cigarettes, and the sample cigarettes are marked as No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Further, the three types of paper obtained above were filteredThe rods are respectively compounded with normal acetate fiber filter rods according to the proportion of 15mm +10mm to obtain three composite filter rods, and then the composite filter rods are respectively rolled and connected into cigarettes, wherein the sample cigarettes are respectively marked as 4#, 5#, and 6 #. In addition, uncoated paper filter rods were crimped into cigarettes and served as control samples for # 1-3 sample cigarettes; and compounding the uncoated paper filter sticks according to the proportion of 15mm +10mm, and rolling the obtained binary composite filter sticks into cigarettes to serve as a control sample of the 4-6# sample cigarette. Before testing, the cigarettes are balanced for 48 hours under the conditions of temperature (22 +/-1) DEG C and relative humidity (60 +/-2)% and then sorted by weight (average weight +/-0.02 g) and draw resistance (average draw resistance +/-49 Pa) to pick out the test cigarettes meeting the standard. Cigarette smoking tests are carried out on a smoking machine according to standard smoking conditions, and the detection of the phenol release amount and the tar release amount is carried out according to the standards YC/T255-2008 and GB/T19609-2004 respectively. Three replicates of each sample were tested and the results are shown in table 1.
TABLE 1 test results of phenol and tar release amount of cigarette samples
Figure DEST_PATH_IMAGE002
Note: the phenol selectivity reduction rate is the difference value between the reduction rate of phenol and the reduction rate of tar, wherein the No. 1-3 cigarette samples take a paper filter stick control sample as a control sample, and the No. 4-6 cigarette samples take a paper vinegar binary composite filter stick control sample as a control sample.
As can be seen from Table 1, compared with the sample of the paper filter stick control cigarette, the highest phenol reduction rate of the 3# paper filter stick cigarette sample can reach 35.95%, and the highest phenol selectivity reduction rate can reach 36.70%. Compared with a cigarette sample with a binary composite filter stick of paper and vinegar, the cigarette sample with the binary composite filter stick of 6# paper and vinegar has the highest phenol reduction rate of 40.44% and the highest phenol selectivity reduction rate of 41.18%. Therefore, the application of the coating liquid can effectively reduce the release amount of phenol in the mainstream smoke of the paper filter type cigarette. And the smoking evaluation result shows that the sensory quality of the test cigarette is not obviously different from that of the control cigarette.
