本发明公开了一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:(1)浆料处理;(2)制备二氧化硅预包覆层;(3)制备二氧化硅包覆层;(4)制备铝预包覆层;(5)制备铝包覆层;(6)成品。本发明一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法,构思新颖,容易实现,其通过预包覆和包覆两步法实现钛白粉的均匀分散和包覆层的包覆均匀性,从而使包覆后的钛白粉颜料质地均匀,性能稳定,有效改善了其产品的遮盖效果,提升颜料的综合使用性能。

一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及颜料领域,具体地涉及一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法。
背景技术
钛白粉,主要成分为二氧化钛的白色颜料,广泛用于涂料、塑料、造纸、油墨和化纤等领域。由于二氧化钛特别是二氧化钛具有光催化活性,未经表面处理的二氧化钛,在使用过程中会催化降解与之接触的有机成分,使涂料产生失光及粉化脱落等现象,严重降低产品的各种性能和使用寿命。无机包膜是提高钛白粉产品物理化学性能的重要措施。但目前处理方法得到的钛白粉存在薄膜不均匀、钛白粉分散性差等缺陷,包膜后的钛白粉性能不均匀、不稳定,影响其使用性能。
发明内容
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法。本发明如下:
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的一个技术方案是:提供一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
(1)浆料处理:将氯化法钛白粉脱水浓缩至一定浓度,然后将其置入球磨机中,再加入分散剂,高速分散研磨10~15min;
(2)制备二氧化硅预包覆层:向步骤(1)中处理后的浆料中加入SiO2溶液,所述SiO2溶液加入量为所述钛白粉质量的0.5~1%,室温熟化30~60min;
(3)制备二氧化硅包覆层:向步骤(2)中熟化后的混合物中加入与步骤(2)中相同的SiO2溶液和硅包膜剂,加热至70~80℃,调节pH值至9.5~10.5,恒温搅拌反应5~10min,再静置30~45min,得到硅包覆钛白粉颜料浆;
(4)制备铝预包覆层:调节步骤(3)中包覆后的钛白粉颜料混合物的pH值至7~8,然后向其中加入分散剂和硫酸铝溶液,搅拌均匀后,室温陈化20~30min;
(5)制备铝包覆层:向步骤(4)中陈化后的混合液中加入偏铝酸钠溶液,搅拌均匀后,调节混合液的pH值为5.5~6,搅拌均匀后,静置陈化1~2h,得到铝包覆的钛白粉颜料浆;
(6)成品:将步骤(5)中得到的包覆铝层的浆料经过滤、洗涤、干燥后,得到所述高效能钛白粉颜料。
(7)本发明的有益效果是:本发明一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法,构思新颖,容易实现,其通过预包覆和包覆两步法实现钛白粉的均匀分散和包覆层的包覆均匀性,从而使包覆后的钛白粉颜料质地均匀,性能稳定,有效改善了其产品的遮盖效果,提升颜料的综合使用性能。
具体实施方式
下面结合实施例对本发明做进一步说明。
具体实施例
(1)浆料处理:将氯化法钛白粉脱水浓缩至质量浓度为380~450g/L,然后将其置入球磨机中,再加入占氯化法钛白粉质量2~3%的分散剂聚乙二醇辛基苯基醚,在料球比5:1,转速为150~300r/min的条件下高速分散研磨10~15min;
(2)制备二氧化硅预包覆层:向步骤(1)中处理后的浆料中加入SiO2溶液,使SiO2溶液的加入量为所述钛白粉质量的0.5~1%,混合搅拌均匀后,室温熟化30~60min;
(3)制备二氧化硅包覆层:向步骤(2)中熟化后的混合物中加入与步骤(2)中相同的SiO2溶液和硅包膜剂,并使SiO2溶液和硅包膜剂的加入量分别为所述钛白粉质量的1~2%和0.3~0.8%,然后加热至70~80℃,用硫酸/氢氧化钠溶液调节pH值至9.5~10.5,恒温搅拌反应5~10min,再静置30~45min,得到硅包覆钛白粉颜料浆;
(4)制备铝预包覆层:用与步骤(3)中相同的pH值调节液调节步骤(3)中包覆后的钛白粉颜料混合物的pH值至7~8,然后向其中加入聚乙二醇辛基苯基醚和质量浓度为15~20g/L的硫酸铝溶液,并使聚乙二醇辛基苯基醚和硫酸铝溶液的加入量占所述二氧化硅包覆钛白粉颜料质量的1~3%和1.5~5%,然后搅拌均匀后,室温陈化20~30min;
(5)制备铝包覆层:向步骤(4)中陈化后的混合液中加入质量浓度为15~20g/L的偏铝酸钠溶液,且加入量控制为相同质量浓度的硫酸铝溶液的3倍,然后搅拌均匀,调节混合液的pH值为5.5~6,静置陈化1~2h,得到铝包覆的钛白粉颜料浆;
(6)成品:将步骤(5)中得到的包覆铝层的浆料经过滤、洗涤、干燥后,得到所述钛白粉颜料。

Claims (6)

1.一种钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:(1)浆料处理:将氯化法钛白粉脱水浓缩至一定浓度,然后将其置入球磨机中,再加入分散剂,高速分散研磨10~15min;(2)制备二氧化硅预包覆层:向步骤(1)中处理后的浆料中加入SiO2溶液,所述SiO2溶液加入量为所述钛白粉质量的0.5~1%,室温熟化30~60min;(3)制备二氧化硅包覆层:向步骤(2)中熟化后的混合物中加入与步骤(2)中相同的SiO2溶液和硅包膜剂,加热至70~80℃,调节pH值至9.5~10.5,恒温搅拌反应5~10min,再静置30~45min,得到硅包覆钛白粉颜料浆;(4)制备铝预包覆层:调节步骤(3)中包覆后的钛白粉颜料混合物的pH值至7~8,然后向其中加入分散剂和硫酸铝溶液,搅拌均匀后,室温陈化20~30min;(5)制备铝包覆层:向步骤(4)中陈化后的混合液中加入偏铝酸钠溶液,搅拌均匀后,调节混合液的pH值为5.5~6,搅拌均匀后,静置陈化1~2h,得到铝包覆的钛白粉颜料浆;(6)成品:将步骤(5)中得到的包覆铝层的浆料经过滤、洗涤、干燥后,得到所述高效能钛白粉颜料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述分散剂为聚乙二醇辛基苯基醚。
3.根据权利要求1所述的钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(1)中,所述氯化法钛白粉浓缩后的浓度为380~450g/L;所述分散剂的加入量为所述氯化法钛白粉质量的2~3%;所述分散研磨条件为:料球比5:1、研磨转速150~300r/min。
4.根据权利要求1所述的钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(3)中,所述SiO2溶液和硅包膜剂的加入量分别为所述钛白粉质量的1~2%和0.3~0.8%。
5.根据权利要求1所述的钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(4)中,所述分散剂和硫酸铝溶液的加入量为所述二氧化硅包覆钛白粉颜料质量的1~3%和1.5~5%,其中,所述硫酸铝溶液的浓度为15~20g/L。
6.根据权利要求1所述的钛白粉颜料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述步骤(5)中,所述偏铝酸钠溶液的浓度为15~20g/L,其加入量为所述硫酸铝的3倍。
