Description

Rotary push switch
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a switch, and more particularly, to a rotary push switch having a push switch, which can be rotationally controlled and automatically reset and positioned after being rotated.
Background
No matter the electronic device is a 3C electronic product, a communication device or a machine tool equipment, it usually has multiple functions or is used to control multiple appliances, so a knob switch is configured, and by matching with a display panel, a user can select an item or a function to be controlled by the rotation of the switch.
The conventional knob switch achieves the function control effect through the rotation of the cap, achieves the control effect of different sections after the rotation, and can rotate clockwise or anticlockwise, however, the cap needs to be manually turned back again after the rotation to recover the positioning, so that the use is quite inconvenient, and particularly, the process of turning back in the reverse direction needs to consume a certain time and attention to determine that the cap recovers to the positioning. In addition, after the cap is rotated to the required option, the option or function control can be completed only by pressing the additionally arranged press switch, and the arrangement of the press switch not only increases the production cost, but also occupies limited configuration space, and is not beneficial to the layout of other components in the electronic product. Thus, even though some manufacturers further improve the knob switch to combine with the push switch, a rotary push switch is formed. However, the pressing structure of the conventional knob switch is located in the middle of the integral switch, and the cap for rotation is inserted around the pressing structure, so that a gap exposed outside is formed between the inner ring wall surface of the cap and the pressing part, which easily causes external moisture to enter, affects the waterproof efficiency of the switch, prolongs the service life of the switch, and even damages the switch.

When in use, the pressing portion 201 of the cap 2 is pressed to press the abutting surface 211 of the connecting post 21 against the movable seat 6 and drive the abutting post 63 to press the button 43 of the switch module 4, so as to drive the controlled application end product, wherein the first gasket 23 supports the cap 2 to ensure that the cap 2 does not generate horizontal deviation when being pressed and displaced, and once the pressing force of the cap 2 disappears, the shape generated by the pressing of the first gasket 23 returns to the original shape, so that the cap 2 returns to the positioning before being pressed.
The rotary push switch 1 of the present invention can be controlled by pressing, and the cap 2 can also rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, and drive the movable seat 6 to rotate through the connection post 21, when rotating clockwise, the second elastic arm 72 of the elastic component 7 is pressed by the second limiting groove 622, and moves toward the first limiting groove 621 along the gap 620, and the first elastic arm 71 abuts against the first limiting groove 621, and at the same time, the limiting block 65 close to the second limiting groove 622 synchronously moves until abutting against the stop block 222, thereby limiting the rotation stroke of the movable seat 6. Similarly, if the cap 2 rotates in the counterclockwise direction, the stopper 64 near the first stopper groove 621 will be displaced until abutting against the stopper 221. The stop blocks 221 and 222 are used for stopping the movement of the movable base 6, so as to prevent the elastic component 7 from being damaged due to excessive rotation. In this preferred embodiment, the limit block 64 and the stop block 221 or the limit block 65 and the stop block 222 form an included angle of 30 degrees together with respect to the axis of the movable seat 6, that is, the movable seat 6 can rotate 30 degrees in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
In summary, the rotary push switch 1 of the present invention utilizes the cap 2 to press or rotate to synchronously drive the movable base 6 to move down or rotate, so as to control or execute the function of the application end product, thereby successfully solving the inconvenience that the traditional single switch only can provide pressing or rotating, and the cap 2 can automatically rotate and reset after rotating without manual rotation, thereby improving convenience; moreover, the cap 2 covers all internal components of the switch to achieve shielding protection and waterproof effects, and the arrangement of the first gasket 23 and the second gasket 32 greatly improves the waterproof effect, thereby effectively solving the defect that the interior of the traditional switch is easily affected with damp.
The above-mentioned embodiments are merely preferred embodiments for fully illustrating the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto. The equivalent substitution or change made by the technical personnel in the technical field on the basis of the invention is all within the protection scope of the invention. The protection scope of the invention is subject to the claims.
