wherein the control mechanism includes a force receiving member and a force transmitting mechanism connected to each other, and an elastic member provided between the force receiving member and the housing, the force receiving member being movable to receive the force of the force applying portion, the force transmitting mechanism being operable to apply a force to the force receiving portion to hold the force receiving portion retracted when the force receiving member does not receive the force of the force applying portion; when the force receiving member moves in response to receiving the force of the force applying portion, the force transmitting mechanism moves together with the force receiving member such that the power receiving portion protrudes out to engage with the driving head, and the force receiving member presses and causes the elastic member to generate an elastic force that urges the developer carrying member to contact the image carrying member with a certain pressure.
2. The control mechanism of claim 1, wherein,
the force receiving member is rotatable about a rotation center, and has two opposite ends with respect to the rotation center, one end of which abuts against the elastic member to press the elastic member, and the other end of which controls the expansion and contraction of the power receiving portion.
3. A control mechanism according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said force applying assembly has a first force applying portion and a second force applying portion, said force receiving member is provided with a first force receiving portion and a second force receiving portion, said first force receiving portion receives a force of said second force applying portion to move said force receiving member and press said elastic member, said second force receiving portion receives a force of said first force applying portion to move said force receiving member and bring said developer carrying member to be separated from said image carrying member.
4. A developing cartridge detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus;
the image forming apparatus includes:
a rotatable driving head for outputting a driving force;
a force applying assembly reciprocally movable with operation of the image forming apparatus, the force applying assembly having a force applying portion
The developing cartridge includes:
a housing that can accommodate a developer;
a developer carrying member that can carry a developer;
the developer carrying member may convey developer to an image carrying member provided outside a casing of the developer cartridge, the developer carrying member and the image carrying member being switchable before a contact position and a separation position;
the method is characterized in that;
the developing cartridge includes a power receiving portion that is retractable in a first direction along a direction of a self rotation axis, the power receiving portion being engageable with the driving head to receive a driving force from the driving head, and a control mechanism that controls the retraction of the power receiving portion, the control mechanism including a force receiving member and a force transmitting mechanism connected to each other, the force receiving member being movable by receiving a force of the force applying portion, and an elastic member provided between the force receiving member and the casing, the force transmitting mechanism being operable to apply a force to the power receiving portion to hold the power receiving portion retracted when the force receiving member does not receive the force of the force applying portion; when the force receiving member moves in response to receiving the force of the force applying portion, the force transmitting mechanism moves together with the force receiving member such that the power receiving portion protrudes out to engage with the driving head, and the force receiving member presses and causes the elastic member to generate an elastic force that urges the developer carrying member to contact the image carrying member with a certain pressure.
5. A developing cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said developing cartridge includes a driving force receiving assembly including said power receiving portion, said driving force receiving assembly having a pressed portion, said force transmitting mechanism transmitting an external force received by said force receiving member to said pressed portion and pressing said pressed portion to control expansion and contraction of said power receiving portion in the first direction.

A developing cartridge according to claim 5, wherein said control mechanism includes a connecting rod movably connected to said force receiving member, said connecting rod controlling expansion and contraction of said power receiving portion, said force receiving member being rotatable about a rotation center, said connecting rod and said elastic member being provided on both sides of said rotation center.

A developing cartridge according to claim 5, wherein said force receiving member is rotatable about a rotation center, said force receiving member has two ends with respect to said rotation center, one end of said force receiving member is provided with a force receiving portion that can receive an external force of said force applying portion, and movement of the other end of said force receiving member controls expansion and contraction of said power receiving portion.
8. A developing cartridge according to any one of claims 5-7, wherein said force receiving member controls the power receiving portion to protrude to engage with said driving head to receive the driving force from said driving head when said elastic member is pressed.
9. The developing cartridge according to claim 4, wherein the force applying assembly has a first force applying portion and a second force applying portion, the force receiving member has a first force receiving portion that receives a force of the second force applying portion to move and urge the developer bearing member to contact the image bearing member with a certain pressure, and a second force receiving portion that receives a force of the first force applying portion to move and separate the developer bearing member from the image bearing member.
10. The developing cartridge according to claim 9, wherein the first force receiving portion is provided on the force receiving member facing the second force receiving portion.
11. A developing cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said control mechanism includes a connecting rod movably connected to said force receiving member, said connecting rod controlling expansion and contraction of said power receiving portion, said force receiving member being rotatable about a rotation center, said connecting rod and said elastic member being provided on both sides of said rotation center.
12. A developing cartridge according to claim 10, wherein said force receiving member is rotatable about a rotation center, said force receiving member has two ends with respect to said rotation center, one end of said force receiving member is provided with a force receiving portion that can receive an external force of said force applying portion, and movement of the other end of said force receiving member controls expansion and contraction of said power receiving portion.
13. A developing cartridge according to claim 4, wherein said developer carrying member and said image bearing member are switchable between a contact position and a separation position, said force receiving member receiving an external force compresses said elastic member to bring said developer carrying member into contact with said image bearing member with a certain pressure while controlling said power receiving portion to protrude out of engagement with said driving head to receive a driving force from said driving head, and said elastic force of said elastic member when said force receiving member does not receive an external force can push said force receiving member and control said power receiving portion to retract out of engagement with said driving head.
