脱离模式在图1中示出。在脱离模式下,第一阀30关闭以使真空存储器28与制动流体存储器26流体分隔开。在第一阀30关闭的情况下,主缸25可以被排气以将使制动流体存储器26、第一流体回路20和第二流体回路22中的压力与大气压相等。第二阀34打开以将真空存储器28流体地联接到真空源32。因此,真空源32可以通过减小真空存储器28中的压力而对真空存储器28填充,例如,达到低于大气压的校准压力水平。
在脱离模式下,制动衬块16的回缩由设在钳18和活塞17之间的弹性密封件驱动。
响应于至少一个操作条件,控制器36可以根据如图2所示的接合模式来控制第一阀30和第二阀34。根据各种实施例,操作条件对应于持续加速条件、巡航条件或其中不施加制动器并且不能预期即将到来的制动的其他状态。在示例性实施例中,操作条件对应于在制动请求超过校准阈值之后终止的制动请求。在另一示例性实施例中,操作条件对应于车速高于阈值,而不施加制动。
在接合模式下,第二阀34关闭以将真空存储器28与真空源32流体地分隔开。第一阀30打开以将真空存储器28流体地联接到制动流体存储器26。因此,真空存储器28可以降低制动流体存储器26中的压力。
此外,由于当制动器被释放时接合模式是有效的,主缸25的补偿口是打开的。因此,第一流体回路20和第二流体回路22的压力降低到大气压以下。因此,可以在活塞17之间形成压力差。压力差沿着回缩方向推动活塞17和制动衬块16。这种附加回缩可以减少或消除与制动转子14接触的制动衬块16的残余制动阻力。在一些情况下,对于给定的钳18,这可能导致阻力转矩的高达1NM的减小。
当活塞17沿回缩方向滑动时,流体被移动到制动流体存储器26中。因此,流体和真空存储器28中的总空气量减少。这降低了***中的真空度,进而降低活塞17之间的压力差。
可以通过调节真空存储器28的内部容积来调节吸入的初始吸入率和衰减率。可以为给定的应用选择真空存储器28的容积,使得产生的吸力足以使活塞17回缩期望的距离,但足够低以避免将活塞17回缩超过预定的最大回缩距离。
在示例性实施例中,制动预填充特征可以在随后的制动事件之前将制动器返回到正常操作状态。
本公开范围内还设想了具有可替代配置的其他实施例。例如,真空储存器可以作为具有真空室和流体室的组合储存器集成到制动流体存储器中。在这样的实施例中,阀选择性地联接真空室和流体室。
现在参考图3,以流程图形式示出了根据本公开的控制制动***的方法。该方法开始于框40。
真空回缩***被控制在脱离模式下,如框42所示。在示例性实施例中,真空***包括真空存储器、真空源、第一和第二阀以及控制器,如图1和图2的实施例所示。在该示例性实施例中,以接合模式控制真空回缩***包括将真空源流体地联接到真空存储器,并且将真空存储器与制动流体存储器流体隔离,如图1的实施例所示。
在操作44中,确定是否检测到第一操作条件。如框46所示,第一操作条件可以对应于表示没有预期制动的信号。这种情况的实例包括车辆巡航条件、超过不施加制动的阈值的车辆速度、超过第一校准阈值并随后低于第二校准阈值的制动请求,或其任何组合。在各种实施例中,可以经由操作者致动制动踏板、来自自动车辆中的自动驾驶***的制动命令或适当的其他源来接收制动请求。
如果操作44的确定是否定的,则控制返回到框42,并且真空缩回***继续被控制在脱离模式下。如果操作44的确定是肯定的,则控制进行到框48。
在框48处,真空回缩***被控制在接合模式下。在该示例性实施例中,以接合模式控制真空回缩***包括将真空源流体地联接到真空存储器,并且将真空存储器与制动流体存储器流体分隔开,如图2的实施例所示。
在示例性实施例中,在将真空回缩***控制到接合模式之前,建立校准的延迟定时器,例如,在方框48中在操作44中检测到的第一操作条件和在接合模式下被控制的真空回缩***之间。在示例性实施例中,例如避免了在停止和移动交通期间真空回缩***的快速接合和脱离。
然后,控制进行到操作50。在操作50中,确定是否检测到第二操作条件。如框52所示,第二操作条件可以对应于表示没有预期制动的信号。这种情况的实例包括操作者释放加速器踏板、指示车辆路径中存在障碍物的传感器读数或其组合。
如果操作50的确定是否定的,则控制返回到框48,并且真空缩回***继续被控制在脱离模式下。如果操作50的确定是肯定的,则控制进行到框54。
在框54处,启动制动器预填充特征以将制动器返回到正常操作状态。在框42处,真空回缩***被控制在脱离模式下。
本文公开的过程、方法或算法可以由可以包括任何现有的可编程电子控制单元或专用电子控制单元的处理设备、控制器或计算机传递/实现。类似地,过程、方法或算法可以作为可由许多形式的控制器或计算机执行的数据和指令存储,包括但不限于永久存储在诸如ROM设备的不可写存储介质上和可变地存储在诸如软盘、磁带、CD、RAM设备以及其他磁和光介质的可写存储介质上的信息。过程、方法或算法也可以在软件可执行对象中实现。或者,可以使用合适的硬件组件,诸如专用集成电路(ASIC)、现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)、状态机、控制器或其它硬件部件或设备或硬件、软件和固件部件的组合,来全部或部分地实现该过程、方法或算法。这样的示例性设备可以作为车辆计算***的一部分或者位于车外并且与一个或多个车辆上的设备进行远程通信。

Claims (4)

1.一种车辆,其包括:
牵引轮;
制动***,其配置成向所述牵引轮施加制动转矩;
液压制动管路,其联接到所述制动***,所述液压制动管路具有管路压力;
真空存储器,其配置成在驱动循环期间选择性地流体地联接到所述液压制动管路,并且配置成当流体地联接到所述液压制动管路时减小所述管路压力,
真空源,
第一阀,所述第一阀配置成选择性地将所述真空源流体地联接到所述真空存储器,
第二阀,所述第二阀配置成选择性地将所述真空存储器流体地联接到所述液压制动管路;以及
控制器,其配置成控制所述第一阀以选择性地将所述真空源流体地联接到所述真空存储器,并且控制所述第二阀以选择性地将所述真空存储器流体地联接到所述液压制动管路;
其中所述控制器配置成响应于第一操作条件控制所述第一阀以将所述真空源流体地联接到所述真空存储器,并且控制所述第二阀以将所述真空存储器与所述液压制动管路分隔开,并响应于第二操作条件控制所述第一阀以将所述真空源与所述真空存储器流体地分隔开,并且控制所述第二阀以将所述真空存储器流体地联接到所述液压制动管路。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中所述制动***包括联接到所述液压制动管路的制动钳、联接到所述制动钳的第一制动衬块以及联接到所述制动钳的第二制动衬块,其中响应于所述管路压力的减少,所述制动钳回缩所述第一制动衬块和所述第二制动衬块而使其彼此远离。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中所述第一操作条件包括最初超过第一校准阈值并随后低于第二校准阈值的制动施加。
4.根据权利要求1所述的车辆,其中所述真空源包括真空泵。
