As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 7, an audio connector 100 according to the present invention is mounted on a circuit board 300 for plugging a plug 200, and includes: the connector comprises an insulating body 1, a plurality of conductive terminals 2 fixed on the insulating body and a cover plate 3 positioned on the insulating body, wherein the cover plate rotates relative to the insulating body 1.

In the present embodiment, the conductive terminal 2 includes a first terminal 21, a second terminal 22, a third terminal 23, and a fourth terminal 24 in a receiving slot for receiving the insulating housing, the first terminal 21 has a first holding portion 210 fixed on the insulating housing 1, a first contact portion 211 protruding into the receiving cavity 11 from the first holding portion, and a first soldering portion 212 extending out of the insulating housing 1; the second terminal 22 has a second holding portion 220 held in the insulative housing 1, a second contact portion 221 protruding from the second holding portion into the receiving cavity 11, and a second soldering portion 222 extending out of the insulative housing; the third terminal 23 has a third fixing portion 230 fixed on the insulating body, a third contact portion 231 protruding into the receiving cavity from the third fixing portion, and a third welding portion 232 extending out of the insulating body, and the fourth terminal 24 has a fourth fixing portion 240 fixed on the insulating body, a fourth contact portion 241 protruding from the fourth fixing portion toward the receiving cavity, and a fourth welding portion 242 extending out of the insulating body.
The fourth contact portion 241 protrudes out of the insertion opening 13, is located outside the insulating body 1, and is abutted against the plug, so that the space occupied by the conductive terminal 2 in the insulating body 1 is reduced, the length of the audio connector is shortened, and miniaturization is realized. The fourth terminal 24 has an elastic arm 243 connected to the fourth holding portion 240, the elastic arm extends out toward the insertion opening 13, and the fourth contact portion 241 is located at the end of the elastic arm 243 and electrically connected to the plug.
The first and second terminals 21, 22 are located at the rear side of the accommodating cavity 11 and far away from the insertion opening 13, the first terminal 21 is used for detecting whether the plug is inserted, the second terminal 22 is used for realizing a terminal for left and right sound channel signal transmission, and the first and second contact portions 211, 221 respectively extend backwards from the front sides of the first and second holding portions 210, 220 to increase the elasticity of the contact portions, and realize reliable contact with the plug. The rotary terminal 34 has a holding plate 340 held on the rotary plate 32, a contact 341 protruding from one end of the holding plate, and a connecting portion 342 protruding from the other end, the contact is in contact with the plug, the holding plate 340 of the rotary terminal 34 has a through hole 343, and the rotary plate 32 has a protrusion 320 held in the through hole 343 to hold the rotary terminal 34 on the rotary plate 32.
In the initial position, i.e. when the audio connector is not in use, the rotating plate 32 is located in the recess 310 of the supporting plate 31, so as to prevent dust from entering the accommodating cavity; when the cover plate 31 is rotated to open, that is, the rotating plate 32 rotates around the rotating shaft 33 as a pivot center, the rotating plate 32 and the rotating terminal 34 are far away from the insertion opening 13 of the accommodating cavity 11, the plug is inserted into the accommodating cavity 11, the rotating terminal 34 and the plug are abutted against each other to realize a grounding function, and the connecting portion 342 of the rotating terminal 34 and the contact point 301 of the circuit board 300 are electrically connected with each other.
The cover plate 3 of the present invention has a rotating plate 32 covering the front side of the insertion opening 13 of the receiving cavity 11 and a rotating terminal 34 fixed on the rotating plate, when the rotating plate 32 is at the closed position, the rotating plate 32 can cover the receiving cavity 11 of the insulating body 1, when the cover plate 32 is rotated to be opened, the rotating plate 32 and the rotating terminal 34 are far away from the receiving cavity 11, the plug is inserted into the receiving cavity 11, the rotating terminal 34 and the plug 200 are mutually abutted, and simultaneously, the connecting part 342 of the rotating terminal 34 and the contact point 301 of the circuit board 300 are mutually electrically connected. Compared with the existing connector, the audio connector of the invention not only prevents dust from entering the accommodating cavity 11, but also can contact with the plug when in use, thereby realizing signal transmission, reducing the space occupied by the terminal in the audio connector and realizing miniaturization.
Of course, the supporting plate may also be an electronic product housing, facilitating the grounding of the rotary terminal 34. Or the rotating plate 32 can also be directly pivoted on the insulating body 1 without using the supporting plate 31 as an adapter element, and the rotating plate is supported on the supporting plate 31, so that the connector is conveniently manufactured into a module, and the assembly and the transportation are convenient.
The connection portion 342 of the rotary terminal 34 does not need to be directly connected to the contact point 301 of the circuit board 300, and can be brought into contact with an element such as a housing by the connection portion 342, thereby achieving a linear grounding effect.
