The functional disorder of jaw movement is a common symptom of oral cavity and jaw, which is characterized by difficult opening and limited opening and clinically belongs to temporomandibular joint disorder syndrome. Generally, the patient has small openability, the opening process is painful abnormally, the pain and the noise in temporomandibular joint areas are accompanied, the masticatory muscles are weak, the normal chewing function cannot be completed, the oral cavity of the patient is seriously affected, and great inconvenience is brought to the life of the patient. Clinical statistics at home and abroad show that patients suffering from mandibular movement dysfunction and temporomandibular joint disorder syndrome occupy a relatively large proportion of the whole population. The pathogenesis of the temporomandibular joint disorder syndrome is complex, and the complete consensus is not achieved so far, however, a plurality of pathogenic factors can cause the functional disorder of the mandible movement of a patient, and the specific causes can be attributed to the nervous control disorder of masticatory muscles and external trauma to the masticatory muscles and temporomandibular joints, including mandible clenching after stroke, joint adhesions after trauma, surgery and head tumor radiotherapy, and the like.
Conservative therapy is adopted clinically for treating the lower jaw motor dysfunction, and comprises the steps of reducing inflammation by adopting medicines and relieving pain by adopting physical therapy such as hot compress, acupuncture and moxibustion and the like, but the improvement of symptoms such as limited opening of a patient is not ideal. Foreign research shows that the patient should be supervised and urged to open mouth rapidly in the early stage after illness, so that the hypofunction of masticatory muscles and the further deterioration of adhesion around temporomandibular joints can be avoided, the metabolism condition of musculoskeletal is accelerated, and the occurrence of connective tissue adhesion is reduced.
Therefore, the invention provides a left and right movement mechanism for a lower jaw treatment device, which can provide auxiliary movement matched with the movement track of the lower jaw of a human body in the using process so as to help the lower jaw of a patient to move left and right and avoid masticatory muscle hypofunction and further worsening of adhesion around temporomandibular joints.
