Description

Electronic paper display device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic paper display device, and more particularly, to an electronic paper display device capable of displaying identification warning information and satellite positioning information or transmitting a satellite positioning signal according to the magnitude of electric power.
Background
Electronic Paper (Electronic Paper) has a visual appearance simulating printing and writing of a Paper book, and has extremely low power consumption. The electronic paper is different from a common flat panel display such as an LCD, etc., and a backlight module is required to emit light or a self-luminous source is required to achieve a display function, that is, the electronic paper has a display function without the backlight module or the self-luminous source. The electronic paper is like common paper, is lighted by ambient light, so that the electronic paper is comfortable to read, the displayed image is still clearly visible in the sun, the visual angle is very wide, the contrast ratio of the electronic paper is higher than that of other display technologies, and the electronic paper is basically the same as the printing effect of newspaper. Therefore, many manufacturers have been investing in the development of electronic paper display devices, and the electronic paper can be applied to products such as electronic volume labels, bus timetables, electronic bulletin boards, mobile phone screens, electronic book readers, or wearable electronic devices.
Since the application of electronic paper is becoming widespread, in recent years, the electronic paper is more recently applied to electronic paper display devices such as wearable devices and portable electronic devices, and these products are becoming thinner and smaller, and are easy to lose and retrieve, thereby easily causing economic loss of users and leakage of personal data or confidential data.
Therefore, it is an important subject to provide an electronic paper display device that has an electronic paper display function and is easily retrieved when the electronic paper display device is lost.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention provides an electronic paper display device capable of displaying identification warning information and satellite positioning information or transmitting a satellite positioning signal according to the magnitude of power, which is convenient for a user to find out when the electronic paper display device is lost.
To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides an electronic paper display device, which includes an electronic paper display unit, a control unit, a storage unit, a wireless communication module, a wireless transmission unit, and a power unit. The control unit is electrically connected to the electronic paper display unit and further comprises an electric quantity detection circuit. The storage unit at least stores identification warning information and is electrically connected with the control unit. The wireless communication module is electrically connected with the control unit and comprises a satellite positioning receiving unit, and the satellite positioning receiving unit receives the current satellite positioning information of an electronic paper display device. The power unit is at least electrically connected with the electric quantity detection circuit of the control unit. When the electric quantity detection circuit detects that the electric power of the electric power unit is greater than or equal to a first electric power threshold value and less than or equal to a second electric power threshold value, the control unit loads the identification warning information of the storage unit and satellite positioning information to the electronic paper display unit.
In one embodiment, the electronic paper display device is a smart phone, a tablet computer, an electronic book, a notebook computer, or a wearable electronic device.
In an embodiment, the wireless communication module further includes a wireless transmission unit electrically connected to the control unit, and the electric quantity detection circuit sends a satellite positioning signal indicating a position of the electronic paper display device when detecting that the electric power of the electric power unit is greater than or equal to a first electric power threshold and less than or equal to a second electric power threshold.
In an embodiment, the power of a power interval from the first power threshold to the second power threshold is the power required by the electronic paper display unit to update the primary display information and/or the power required to at least transmit the satellite positioning signal of the position of the electronic paper display device.
In one embodiment, when the power detection circuit detects that the power of the power unit is smaller than the first power threshold, the control unit controls the electronic paper display unit to continuously display the identification warning information and the satellite positioning information.
In an embodiment, when the power detection circuit detects that the power of the power unit rises from being less than the first power threshold to being greater than or equal to the first power threshold and being less than the second power threshold, the control unit controls the wireless transmission unit to resend the satellite positioning signal of the position of the electronic paper display device.
In an embodiment, when the power detection circuit detects that the power of the power unit rises from less than the second power threshold to greater than or equal to the second power threshold, the control unit controls the wireless transmission unit to continuously transmit the satellite positioning signal of the position of the electronic paper display device at fixed time intervals.
In one embodiment, the control unit controls the storage unit to continuously record the satellite positioning information of the electronic paper display device.
In one embodiment, the electronic paper display device further comprises an authentication unit, wherein the authentication unit is at least electrically connected with the control unit and receives the authentication identification information, and when the authentication identification information passes the authentication of the authentication unit, the display information of the electronic paper display unit is updated according to the authentication identification information.
In one embodiment, the authentication identification information is password authentication information or biometric information.
In one embodiment, the authentication identification information passes the authentication of the authentication unit, so that the wireless transmission unit stops sending the satellite positioning signal of the position of the electronic paper display device.
In summary, the electronic paper display device of the present invention can display the identification warning information and the satellite positioning information or transmit a satellite positioning signal according to the power level, that is, when the power level of the power unit falls within a predetermined range (i.e., greater than or equal to the first power threshold and less than or equal to the second power threshold), the control unit loads the identification warning information and the satellite positioning information of the storage unit to the electronic paper display unit. Therefore, even if the electronic paper display device is lost, the loaded identification warning information and the satellite positioning data can be automatically displayed on the electronic paper display unit when the power of the power unit is reduced to be within a preset range, and therefore a person who picks up the electronic paper display device can conveniently contact and return to the owner.
In addition, when the electronic paper display device is provided with the authentication unit, the control unit cannot enable the electronic paper display unit to update the display information according to the authentication unit before the electronic paper display device is authenticated by the authentication unit; therefore, the information displayed on the electronic paper display unit cannot be overwritten and changed by others at this time. Therefore, even after the electronic paper display device is lost, the safety degree of the electronic paper display device can be still kept, and the returning probability is further improved.

The control unit 14 can calculate the satellite positioning information 132 including the current physical position (i.e. the located position, such as longitude and latitude) of the electronic paper display device 1 according to the satellite positioning signal, and load the satellite positioning information 132 onto the electronic paper display unit 13, so that the electronic paper display unit 13 displays the satellite positioning information 132 corresponding to the satellite positioning signal received by the satellite positioning receiving unit 162 (as shown in fig. 4A to 4D). In addition, after the control unit 14 calculates the satellite positioning information 132 including the current physical location of the electronic paper display device 1 according to the satellite positioning signal received by the satellite positioning receiving unit 162, it is not necessary to directly load the information on the electronic paper display unit 13, the control unit 14 may store the satellite positioning information 132 in the storage unit 17, and then the control unit 14 controls the satellite positioning information 132 to load the electronic paper display unit 13 according to the following control method. In addition, the control unit 14 may control the storage unit 17 to continuously record the satellite positioning information corresponding to the satellite positioning signal received by the satellite positioning receiving unit 162. That is, the control unit 14 controls the storage unit 17 to continuously record the moving track of the electronic paper display device 1.
In this embodiment, the satellite positioning signal is a satellite signal transmitted from a geostationary satellite of the global positioning system, or a signal transmitted by the wireless transmission unit and having information representing the current position or the ever-present physical position (e.g., longitude and latitude) of the electronic paper display device 1. The satellite positioning information in the present embodiment is information that represents the current position of the electronic paper display apparatus 1 or the physical position (e.g., longitude and latitude) that has appeared once calculated by the control unit 14 according to the satellite positioning signal.
The storage unit 17 at least stores identification warning information 131 and/or satellite positioning information 132 (as shown in fig. 4A to 4D). The identification warning information 131 may be a prompt or warning information (e.g., a prompt or warning slogan), a basic information of a person (e.g., a contact phone, an address or a name), and/or a product identification information (e.g., a product identification code, a manufacturing date, a warranty date, or a repair delivery location) of the electronic paper display device 1. The identification warning information 131 can also be set by the user, which is not limited in the present invention. The control unit 14 may load the identification warning information 131 and other display information in the storage unit 17 to the electronic paper display unit 13. The wireless transmission unit 161 is used to transmit the signal loaded from the control unit 14.
In addition, after the control unit 14 loads the satellite positioning information 131 and the identification warning information 132 to the electronic paper display unit 13, the control unit 14 may control the electronic paper display unit 13 not to be updated. In this way, the information displayed on the electronic paper display unit 13 can be continuously displayed; further, in order to further enhance the security, the electronic paper display device 1 may be designed such that the information displayed on the electronic paper display unit 13 cannot be overwritten before the authentication is not passed, and the authentication related art and the operation thereof will be described in the following embodiments.
Referring to fig. 3 to fig. 4D, four preferred operation modes of the electronic paper display device 1 will be described below. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of power versus time of the power unit 15 of the electronic paper display device 1 of fig. 1A. Fig. 4A is a schematic view of the electronic paper display device of fig. 1B displaying information and transmitting signals in a first mode. Fig. 4B is a schematic view of the electronic paper display device in fig. 1B displaying information in a second mode. Fig. 4C is a schematic diagram of the electronic paper display device of fig. 1B displaying information and transmitting signals in a third mode. Fig. 4D is a schematic diagram of the electronic paper display device of fig. 1B displaying information and transmitting signals in a fourth mode.
As shown in fig. 3 to 4D, in the embodiment, when the power detection circuit 141 detects that the power of the power unit 15 is greater than or equal to a first power threshold TH1And is less than or equal to a second power threshold TH2At this time, that is, when the electronic paper display device 1 enters the first mode M1, the control unit 14 loads the identification warning information 131 and the satellite positioning information 132 to the electronic paper display unit 13. That is, the electronic paper display device 1 has the power of the power unit 15 being greater than or equal to the first power threshold TH1And the power of the power unit 15 is less than or equal to the second power threshold TH2At this time, the electronic paper display unit 13 displays the identification warning information 131 and/or the satellite positioning information 132. The display positions of the identification warning data 131 and the satellite positioning information 132 on the electronic paper display unit 13 can be adjusted according to actual requirements, and the invention is not limited.
Further, in the present embodiment, the first power threshold TH1To a second power threshold TH2The power in the power interval (b) is the power required by the electronic paper display unit 13 to update the primary display information (including the identification warning information 131 and the satellite positioning information 132). And a first power threshold TH1And a second electric powerThreshold TH2Can be adjusted according to actual requirements, and is not limited in the invention. For example, the first power threshold TH1Which may be 1% of the total or maximum stored power of the power unit 15, and a second power threshold TH2Can be set to 20% of the total or maximum stored charge of the power unit 15, while in other embodiments the first power threshold TH1Or 3% of the total or maximum stored power of the power unit 15, and the second power threshold TH2The total charge or the maximum stored charge of the power unit 15 is adjusted to 15% power or 10% power.
In addition, in the first mode M1 (i.e. when the power detection circuit 141 detects that the power of the power unit 15 is greater than or equal to a first power threshold TH)1And is less than or equal to a second power threshold TH2At this time), the control unit 14 may load the identification warning data 131 and the satellite positioning information 132 of the electronic paper display device 1 onto the electronic paper display unit 13, so that the electronic paper display unit 13 displays the identification warning data 131 and the satellite positioning information 132, and controls the wireless transmission unit 161 to transmit the satellite positioning signal of the position of the electronic paper display device 1 (the transmitted satellite positioning signal refers to a signal representing the current position of the electronic paper display device 1 or the entity position information that has appeared once). Thus, at this time, the first power threshold TH1To a second power threshold TH2The power in the power interval(s) of (1) is the power required by the wireless transmission unit 161 to transmit the satellite positioning signal of the electronic paper display device 1 at least once and the power required by the electronic paper display unit 13 to update the display information (including the identification warning data 131 and the satellite positioning information 132) at least once.
The satellite positioning signal and the identification warning information 131 of the electronic paper display device 1 sent by the wireless transmission unit 161 can be received by another electronic device C. Therefore, the owner or other persons of the electronic paper display device 1 can know the current position of the electronic paper display device 1 or the physical position that has appeared at a specific time point.
In addition, the electronic device C can be a remote server, another mobile device (tablet or smart phone), or a personal computer (desktop or notebook computer); the wireless transmission unit 161 may send the identification warning information 131 and/or the satellite positioning signal of the electronic paper display device 1 to the electronic device C by sending an e-mail, a short message, or an SMS message (e.g. LINE, WeChat, or facial book information).
When the electronic paper display device 1 is not recharged after entering the first mode M1 and the power of the power unit 15 is continuously consumed, the electronic paper display device 1 then enters the second mode M2. That is, when the power detecting circuit 141 of the electronic paper display device 1 detects that the power of the power unit 15 is smaller than the first power threshold TH1At this time, the electronic paper display device 1 enters the second mode M2, and the control unit 14 controls the electronic paper display unit 13 to continuously display the identification warning information 131 and the satellite positioning information 132. Even in the case where the power is exhausted or is about to be exhausted, the identification warning information 131 and the satellite positioning information 132 are continuously displayed on the electronic paper display unit 13. Therefore, even if the electronic paper display device 1 is picked up by the third person when the power is exhausted, the pickup person can still know the owner of the electronic paper display device 1 and the contact way thereof through the identification warning information 131 on the electronic paper display unit 13, so that the pickup person can be conveniently contacted and returned with the owner of the electronic paper display device 1; and the satellite positioning information 132 displayed on the electronic paper display unit 13 may remind the person who has been picked up, and the owner or other persons of the electronic paper display device 1 may know the current position of the electronic paper display device 1, so as to reduce the incentive for the person who has been picked up to encroach on the electronic paper display device 1.
Then, when the electronic paper display device 1 is powered on again in the second mode M2 to perform charging, the electric quantity of the power unit 15 is increased back to the first power threshold TH1And a second power threshold TH2Meanwhile, the electronic paper display device 1 enters the third mode M3. That is, when the power detecting circuit 141 detects that the power of the power unit 15 is lower than the first power threshold TH1Rises to or above the first power threshold TH1And is less than the second power threshold TH2At this time, the control unit 14 controls the wireless transmission unit 161 to retransmit the electronsThe other satellite positioning signal and/or the identification warning information 131 of the position of the paper display device 1 can be received by the electronic device C, so that the owner or other people of the electronic paper display device 1 can know the current position of the electronic paper display device 1 or the physical position that has appeared at a specific time point again through the electronic device C.
Then, if the electronic paper display device 1 is continuously charged in the third mode M3, the electric quantity of the power unit 15 is continuously increased to be greater than or equal to the second power threshold TH2At this time, the electronic paper display device 1 enters the fourth mode M4. That is, when the power detecting circuit 141 detects that the power of the power unit 15 is lower than the second power threshold TH2Rises to or above the second power threshold TH2Meanwhile, the control unit 14 controls the wireless transmission unit 161 to continuously transmit the satellite positioning signal and/or the identification warning information 131 of the location of the electronic paper display device 1 at a fixed time interval, and the electronic device C can also receive the satellite positioning signal and/or the identification warning information 131, so that the owner or other people of the electronic paper display device 1 can know the current location of the electronic paper display device 1 or the physical location that has appeared at a certain specific time point at the fixed time interval through the electronic device C, thereby enabling the owner or other people of the electronic paper display device 1 to track the electronic paper display device 1 and improving the chance that the electronic paper display device 1 is found.
In addition, since the control unit 14 controls the storage unit 17 to continuously record the moving track of the electronic paper display device 1, the other satellite positioning signal retransmitted by the wireless transmission unit 161 to the electronic paper display device 1 may further include the moving track information of the electronic paper display device 1 recorded by the control unit 14 controlling the storage unit 17. In this case, even if the physical position of the electronic paper display device 1 in any mode is different from the physical position in the previous mode (i.e. the electronic paper display device 1 is moved), the owner or other persons of the electronic paper display device 1 can know the nearest position of the electronic paper display device 1.
In addition, to improve the security, the electronic paper display device 1 in the embodiment may further include an authentication unit 19. The authentication unit 19 is at least electrically connected to the control unit 14 and receives authentication identification information inputted by a user, and when the authentication identification information passes the authentication of the authentication unit 19, a message is sent to notify the control unit 14, and the control unit 14 can update the display information displayed on the electronic paper display unit 13 according to the message, and can also stop the wireless transmission unit 161 from sending the satellite positioning signal of the position where the electronic paper display device 1 is located. Here, the display information displayed by the electronic paper display unit 13 may be updated by changing the information content of the originally displayed identification warning information 131 and satellite positioning information 132, or by stopping or turning off the electronic paper display unit 13, so that the electronic paper display unit 13 does not display any identification warning information 131 and satellite positioning information 132. In addition, the authentication identification information of the embodiment may be password authentication information input by the user, for example: english, numeric code, or biometric data identification information of the user, such as: biometric authentication information such as fingerprints, irises, palmprints, facial features, etc. In addition, the authentication identification control performed by the authentication unit 19 and the control unit 14 in the present embodiment can be performed in any one, two or three of the first mode M1, the third mode M3 and the fourth mode M4.
The invention also provides another preferred embodiment, which is also an electronic paper display device, please refer to fig. 5. As shown in the figure, the electronic paper display device 2 is made into an identification card suitable for wearing a child, a patient with intellectual disability, or a person with insufficient recognition ability or intellectual disability. The electronic paper display device 2 includes a main body 20, an electronic paper display unit 23, a control unit, a power unit, a wireless communication module, and a storage unit. Compared with the electronic paper display device 1 shown in fig. 1A to 4D, the electronic paper display device 1 is an example of a smart phone, however, the electronic paper display device 2 shown in fig. 5 is an identification card, so a backlight display unit or a self-luminous display unit does not need to be arranged, and the rest of the control units, the power unit, the wireless communication module and the storage unit are the same as the control unit 14, the power unit 15, the wireless communication module 16 and the storage unit 17 of the electronic paper display device 1 in connection relationship, detailed features and working modes, and will not be repeated herein. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the control unit is electrically connected to the electronic paper display unit, and the control unit further includes a power detection circuit. The storage unit is electrically connected to the control unit and at least stores the identification warning information 231. The satellite positioning receiving unit is electrically connected to the control unit and receives the current satellite positioning signal of the electronic paper display device 2. The power unit is at least electrically connected with the electric quantity detection circuit of the control unit. Moreover, when the power detection circuit detects that the power of the power unit is greater than or equal to a first power threshold and less than or equal to a second power threshold, the control unit loads the identification warning information 231 and the satellite positioning information 232 to the electronic paper display unit 23. Therefore, when a child or a patient with intellectual disability who wears the electronic paper display device 2, or a person with insufficient recognition ability or intellectual disability, gets lost or lost, other people can quickly know the basic information of the wearer and who to contact, so that the lost child or the patient with intellectual disability, or the person with insufficient recognition ability or intellectual disability can be quickly and easily found back.
