In the current rotary hard alloy cutter production and manufacturing process, the groove grinding time of the cutter occupies about 50% of the whole cutter production and manufacturing time or even more. The existing cutter grinder comprises a single main shaft adopted by a special cutter groove grinding machine tool, and each groove of the cutter needs to be ground one by one, so that the efficiency is low, and when the slender cutter is ground, the rigidity and clamping rigidity of a cutter bar are weak, and when the groove is ground, the feeding speed is reduced, so that the stress deformation and vibration of the bar are reduced when the groove is ground. The efficiency of the groove grinding of the elongated tool is lower.

In the embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, before the symmetrical double-spindle tool groove grinder is put into start, the tools to be machined are installed on a workpiece shaft, the heights of grinding spindle posts 3 on two sides are adjusted to adjust sliding grooves 9 to grind spindles 4 to proper heights respectively according to the characteristics of the tools of the workpiece, a slotting grinding wheel 5 is installed on the grinding spindle 4, then the grinding spindle 4 swings to the angle of the helix angle of a tool groove, and meanwhile, the slotting grinding wheels of the grinding spindle 4 on two sides synchronously move to the groove grinding position along the radial direction of the tools; after the groove grinding machine is started, the slotting grinding wheels 5 grind from the outer end of the cutter bar to the axial direction of the cutter clamping handle, the stress is uniform and symmetrical, and when rough grinding is finished, the two slotting grinding wheels 5 finish polishing reversely from the cutter clamping handle to the outer end of the cutter. If high-precision precise polishing is required, the second fine particles on the grooved grinding wheel rod are adopted to precisely throw away the grooved grinding wheel 5 until the cutter processing is completed.
