Referring to fig. 1 to 6, in a preferred embodiment, a pipeline protector is shown, comprising:

6. A pipeline protector according to claim 1 wherein the inner side of the pipe joint is further provided with a shoulder adjacent to the end of the pipe joint where the threaded bores are located.
