However, in this configuration, when the spatial position of the circuit board is enough to be forward, and the cover is sufficiently supported, the cover cannot be provided with the support portion when the spatial position of the circuit board is not enough, that is, the function of supporting the power connector to prevent the power connector from tilting forward cannot be realized.
In view of the above, there is a need for further improvement of the conventional cover to solve the above problems.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, a cover 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention is disclosed, in which the cover 100 is configured to be inserted into a socket of a power connector 900 to support the power connector 900. The cover body 100 is provided with a cover plate 1 and a suction plate 2 horizontally extending rearward from the cover plate 1. The suction plate 2 is provided with a suction surface 21 at the top and a back surface 22 opposite to the suction surface 21. The power connector 900 is inserted into the cover 100, and a robot arm (not shown) sucks the suction surface 21 of the cover plate 1, thereby moving the position of the power connector 900.
The cover plate 1 is provided with a body part 12 extending left and right, a first supporting part 11 continuing to extend left from one end of the body part 12, and a second supporting part 13 continuing to extend right from the other end of the body part 12, wherein the first supporting part 11 and the second supporting part 13 are arranged in a left-right asymmetric structure.
The main body 12 has a front surface 121 and a rear surface 122 opposite to the front surface 121, and a rear surface (not numbered) of the first supporting portion 11 is coplanar with the rear surface 122 of the main body 12. The front surface (not numbered) of the first support part 11 is offset rearward, behind the front surface 121 of the body part 12. The first supporting portion 11 is provided with a first supporting surface 111 at the bottom, the main body portion 12 is provided with a bottom surface 123 at the bottom, and the first supporting surface 111 is higher than the bottom surface 123 along the up-down direction.
The second supporting portion 13 is provided with a connecting portion 131 extending rearward from the other end of the main body portion 12 and a supporting plate 132 extending rightward from the upper half of the connecting portion 131. The first support part 11 is located in front of the support plate 132 in the front-rear direction. The connecting portion 131 extends perpendicularly from the rear surface 122 of the main body 12, i.e., the main body 12 is perpendicularly connected to the connecting portion 131. The supporting plate 132 is vertically connected to the connecting portion 131. The supporting plate 132, the connecting portion 131 and the main body 12 are connected in a Z-shape. The supporting plate 132 of the second supporting portion 13 is provided with a second supporting surface 1321, and the second supporting surface 1321 is coplanar with the first supporting surface 111 along the up-down direction. This enables the cover 100 to be supported on the circuit board by using either the first support surface 111 of the first support portion 11 or the second support surface 1321 of the second support portion 13, and to be maintained at the same height. In the front-rear direction, the first support part 11 and the second support part 13 do not extend forward beyond the front surface 121 of the main body 12. It is so arranged that the first support portion 11 and the second support portion 13 do not occupy space in the front-rear direction.
The cover plate 1 is further provided with an inclined strut 133 obliquely connecting the connecting portion 131 with the support plate 132, and the inclined strut 133 is arranged at a connecting corner of the connecting portion 131 with the support plate 132. With this arrangement, the overall strength of the second supporting portion 13 is improved by the diagonal brace 133, and the service life of the cover 100 is prolonged.
The cover 100 is further provided with a plurality of support ribs 124 connecting the main body 12 and the suction plate 2 in an inclined manner, and the plurality of support ribs 124 extend obliquely upward from the rear surface 122 of the main body 12 and connect the rear surface 22 of the suction plate 2, so that the support ribs 124 can support the suction plate 2 upward from bottom to top, thereby enhancing the connection strength between the suction plate 2 and the main body 12.
The body portion 12 is further provided with a retaining strip 125 projecting rearwardly from the rear surface 122, a stop 126, and pairs of catches 127. The holding bar 125 extends in the left-right direction, and the stopper 126 extends in the up-down direction. In the present embodiment, a holding space 120 is formed between the stopper 126 and the connecting portion 131, and the holding bar 125 is located in the holding space 120 between the stopper 126 and the connecting portion 131. In other embodiments, two stoppers may be respectively disposed at two ends of the main body 12, and the holding space is formed between the two stoppers.
Each pair of the hooks 127 includes a first hook arm 1271 disposed above the hook strip 125 and a second hook arm 1272 disposed below the hook strip 125, and the first hook arm 1271 and the second hook arm 1272 are disposed in an axisymmetrical manner or in a vertically staggered manner compared with the hook strip 125. In this embodiment, the first arm 1271 and the second arm 1272 are disposed axially symmetrically in the vertical direction. The first and second card arms 1271 and 1272 are cantilever beams, and the ends of the first and second card arms 1271 and 1272 are inclined toward the interior of the holding space 120 to form a holding cavity 1270 between the first and second card arms 1271 and 1272.
When the cover body 100 is mounted on the power connector 900, the holding strip 125 is inserted into the socket of the power connector 900, the front end of the power connector 900 is received in the holding space 120, the left and right ends of the power connector 900 are held by the stop 126 and the connecting portion 131, and the upper and lower ends of the power connector 900 are held by the first holding arm 1271 and the second holding arm 1272. The buckle 127 is used to clamp the front end of the power connector 900 in the vertical direction. With such an arrangement, the cover 100 can be more stably attached to the power connector 900, and can more stably function during the movement of the power connector 900.
Referring to fig. 5, the first supporting portion 11 and the second supporting portion 13 of the cover 100 are asymmetrically disposed along the left and right direction; the first support part 11 is located in front of the support plate 132 of the second support part 13 in the front-rear direction. The first supporting surface 111 at the bottom of the first supporting portion 11 is horizontally coplanar with the second supporting surface 1321 at the bottom of the supporting plate 132, when two power connectors are used side by side, the second supporting portion 13 of the left cover 100 of two adjacent covers 100 can be arranged behind the first supporting portion 11 of the right cover 100 along the front-back direction, so that a dislocation is formed, the space in the left-right direction is saved, and the problem that the space for placing the power connector 900 is too small is solved. In addition, the first supporting portion 11 of the left cover body 100 is supported downward by the circuit board 800, and the second supporting portion 13 of the right cover body 100 is supported downward by the circuit board 800, so that each power connector 900 can be supported by at least one supporting portion of the respective cover body 100 by asymmetrically arranging the first supporting portion 11 and the second supporting portion 13, thereby keeping the center of gravity of each power connector 900 balanced, and saving space in the left-right direction when a plurality of power connectors 900 are arranged side by side.
Referring to fig. 6 to 7, an electrical connector 100' according to a second embodiment of the present invention is shown. The cover 100' of the second embodiment is substantially the same as the cover 100 of the first embodiment. The cover body 100 'is also provided with a cover plate 1' and a suction plate 2 'horizontally extending rearward from the cover plate 1'. The cover plate 1 'is provided with a body portion 12' extending left and right, a first supporting portion 11 'continuing to extend left from one end of the body portion 12', and a second supporting portion 13 'continuing to extend right from the other end of the body portion 11', and the first supporting portion 11 'and the second supporting portion 13' are arranged in a left-right asymmetric structure. The only difference is that: the cover body 100 'is not provided with a buckle on the upper and lower sides of the clamping strip 125', and other structures are the same.
