Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display device and a preparation method thereof. The display device comprises a display panel and cover plate glass or a touch screen; the cover plate glass or the touch screen is provided with limiting frames which are in one-to-one correspondence with the terminals on the surface of one side facing the terminals, and each limiting frame and the cover plate glass or the touch screen form a cavity with an opening facing the corresponding terminal; adhesive is filled in the cavity so that the cover plate glass or the touch screen is attached and connected with the display panel; each limiting frame is used for preventing the adhesive filled in the cavity of the limiting frame from overflowing; the openings are used for the corresponding terminals to pass through and extend into the cavities. This display device is provided with spacing frame on glass cover or touch-control screen to coat the adhesive in glass cover or touch-control screen's spacing frame, make this display device can reduce the probability of display panel damage, and can prevent that the adhesive from spilling over.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display device and a preparation method thereof.
Background
At present, in order to improve the display effect of a display device, a display Panel of the display device and a Cover Glass (CG) or a Touch Panel (TP) are manufactured by a full-lamination process. With the requirement of thinning a display device, the thickness of a display panel is thinner and thinner, and as the size of an array substrate in the display panel is larger than that of a color film substrate, a single layer region is formed on a part of the array substrate, which exceeds the color film substrate, so that the thickness of the single layer region is thinner.
Therefore, in order to ensure the structural strength of the display panel, it is necessary to protect the single-layer region of the display panel from functional failure due to damage during the operation, assembly, transportation, and testing. The existing display device realizes the supporting and protecting effect by the silicone adhesive filled in the gap between the terminal of the display panel and the cover glass or the touch screen through the terminal dispensing process so as to improve the structural strength of a single layer region and further improve the structural strength of the display panel.
The existing terminal glue dispensing process comprises the following steps: coating 3M glue or UV glue and other terminal protective agents, coating silicone adhesive with a certain thickness at two ends of the terminal, and attaching the cover plate glass or the touch screen after the silicone adhesive is softened. However, in the existing terminal dispensing process, silicone adhesive is coated at two ends of a terminal of a single layer area, so that the single layer area is easy to damage due to low structural strength, and the silicone adhesive is easy to overflow.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a display device and a preparation method thereof, wherein a cover plate glass or a touch screen of the display device is provided with a limiting frame, and an adhesive is coated in the limiting frame of the cover plate glass or the touch screen, so that the display device can reduce the probability of damage of a display panel and can prevent the adhesive from overflowing.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:
a display device comprises a display panel and cover plate glass or a touch screen arranged on the light emergent side of the display panel; the display panel is provided with a terminal in a non-display area;
the cover plate glass or the touch screen is provided with limiting frames corresponding to the terminals one by one on the surface of one side facing the terminals, and each limiting frame and the cover plate glass or the touch screen form a cavity with an opening facing the corresponding terminal; adhesive is filled in the cavity, so that the cover plate glass or the touch screen is attached to the display panel;
each limiting frame is used for preventing the adhesive filled in the cavity of the limiting frame from overflowing; the openings are used for enabling the corresponding terminals to penetrate through and extend into the cavities.
The display device is characterized in that a limiting frame is arranged on the surface of one side, facing the terminal, of the cover glass or the touch screen, an adhesive is filled in a cavity formed by the limiting frame and the cover glass or the touch screen, and the cover glass or the touch screen is attached to the display panel through the one-to-one correspondence between the limiting frame and the terminal of the display panel; because the display device fills the adhesive coated on the single-layer area terminal of the display panel in the prior art in the limiting frame of the cover glass or the touch screen, the limiting frame forms a retaining wall for preventing the adhesive from flowing, the single-layer area can be prevented from being damaged when the adhesive is coated on the terminal under the condition of preventing the overflow of the adhesive by the limiting frame arranged on the cover glass or the touch screen, the probability of damage to the display panel is further reduced, and meanwhile, the adhesive can be prevented from overflowing through the limiting frame because the adhesive is filled in the cavity of the limiting frame.
Therefore, the display device can reduce the probability of damage of the display panel and can prevent the adhesive from overflowing.
Preferably, the limiting frame is made of a low surface energy material.
Preferably, the low surface energy material is an organic polymer.
Preferably, the low surface energy material is polyethylene, polypropylene, perfluoropolyether, polydimethylsiloxane, polybutadiene, or polyisoprene.
Preferably, the adhesive is a silicone adhesive.
Preferably, the opening is rectangular in cross-section.
In addition, the invention also provides a preparation method of any one of the display devices in the technical scheme, which comprises the following steps:
forming limiting frames which correspond to terminals of a display panel one by one on the surface of one side of the cover plate glass or the touch screen, wherein each limiting frame and the cover plate glass or the touch screen form a cavity with an opening facing the corresponding terminal;
filling an adhesive in each cavity;
after the time is set, the cover plate glass or the touch screen is attached to the display panel, so that each terminal penetrates through the corresponding opening to be fixed into the adhesive in the corresponding limiting frame.
Preferably, the set time is 15min to 25 min.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention provides a display device and a preparation method thereof, wherein a cover plate glass or a touch screen of the display device is provided with a limiting frame, and an adhesive is coated in the limiting frame of the cover plate glass or the touch screen, so that the display device can reduce the probability of damage of a display panel and can prevent the adhesive from overflowing.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 3, a display device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel 11, and a cover glass 12 or a touch screen mounted on a light-emitting side of the display panel 11; as shown in the structure of fig. 1, the display device 1 includes a display panel 11 and a cover glass 12 covering the light-emitting side of the display panel 11; when the display device 1 has a touch function, the display device 1 includes a display panel 11 and a touch screen covering a light emitting side of the display panel 11, and sometimes, in order to improve a protection level of the display device 1, a cover glass 12, a protection glass or a protection film is further covered on the touch screen;
the display panel 11 is provided with terminals in the non-display region, which can be used for connecting a driving circuit; generally, the terminals are disposed on an array substrate of the display panel 11, the size of the array substrate is larger than that of the color film substrate, a single layer region is formed on a portion of the array substrate beyond the color film substrate, and the terminals are formed in the single layer region of the array substrate;
the cover glass 12 or the touch screen is provided with a limiting frame 13 corresponding to the terminals one by one on the surface of one side facing the terminals, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, the cover glass 12 is provided with two limiting frames 13 on the surface of one side facing the terminals, the array substrate single-layer area of the display panel 11 is provided with two terminals electrically connected with the driving circuit, and the terminals correspond to the limiting frames 13 one by one; similarly, when the display device 1 has a touch function, the surface of one side of the touch screen facing the terminal is provided with the limiting frames 13 corresponding to the terminal one by one; the number of terminals arranged on a single layer region of the array substrate of the display panel 11 is not limited to two, and three, four or more terminals may be arranged according to actual needs; each limit frame 13 and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen form a cavity 131 with an opening facing the corresponding terminal, as shown in the structure of fig. 3, each limit frame 13 arranged on the cover glass 12 or the touch screen and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen respectively enclose a cavity 131; the cavity 131 is filled with an adhesive 14, so that the cover glass 12 or the touch screen is attached to the display panel 11; the array substrate of the display panel 11 can be bonded with the cover plate glass 12 or the touch screen through the adhesive 14 arranged in the limiting frame 13, so that the structural strength of the array substrate is improved, and the array substrate is prevented from being damaged;
each of the position limiting frames 13 is used for preventing the adhesive 14 filled in the cavity 131 from overflowing; the openings are used to allow corresponding terminals to pass through and extend into the cavity 131.
In the display device 1, the limiting frame 13 is arranged on the surface of one side, facing the terminal, of the cover glass 12 or the touch screen, the adhesive 14 is filled in the cavity 131 formed by the limiting frame 13 and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen, and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen is attached to the display panel 11 by the one-to-one correspondence between the limiting frame 13 and the terminal of the display panel 11; since the display device 1 fills the adhesive 14 coated on the single-layer terminal of the display panel 11 in the prior art in the cover glass 12 or the limit frame 13 of the touch screen, the limit frame 13 forms a retaining wall for preventing the adhesive 14 from flowing, the limit frame 13 arranged on the cover glass 12 or the touch screen can prevent the single-layer terminal from being damaged when the adhesive 14 is coated on the terminal under the condition of preventing the overflow of the adhesive 14, thereby reducing the probability of the damage of the display panel 11, and meanwhile, the adhesive 14 is filled in the cavity 131 of the limit frame 13, and the overflow of the adhesive 14 can be prevented through the limit frame 13.
Therefore, the display device 1 can reduce the probability of damage to the display panel 11 and can prevent the adhesive 14 from overflowing.
In one embodiment, the stop frame 13 is made of a low surface energy material to better prevent the adhesive 14 from spilling out.
Surface energy is a measure of the breakdown of chemical bonds between molecules when creating a surface of a substance. Since the position limiting frame 13 disposed on the cover glass 12 or the touch screen in the display device 1 is made of a low surface energy material, the surface energy of the position limiting frame 13 is low, and according to the principle that liquid shrinks under the condition of low surface energy, when the adhesive 14 is filled into the cavity 131 of the position limiting frame 13 made of the low surface energy material, the adhesive 14 shrinks, that is, the surface tension of the adhesive 14 increases, and meanwhile, under the condition that the position limiting frame 13 plays a role of a retaining wall, the probability of the adhesive 14 overflowing is further reduced. Therefore, when the position restricting frame 13 is made of a low surface energy material, the overflow of the adhesive 14 can be further prevented.
Specifically, the low surface energy material may be an organic polymer, but the low surface energy material is not limited to an organic polymer and may be any material having a low surface energy.
Further, the low surface energy material may be Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (Polypropylene), perfluoropolyether (PFPE), Polydimethylsiloxane (Polydimethylsiloxane, also called dimethylsilicone), polybutadiene (polybutadienee), or Polyisoprene (Polyisoprene Trans), and the low surface energy material may be other materials not mentioned above, which are not listed herein.
On the basis of the above various embodiments, the adhesive 14 filled in the cavity 131 of the position limiting frame 13 may be Silicone adhesive (Silicone), and the adhesive 14 may also be UV adhesive (UV adhesive, also called shadowless adhesive, photosensitive adhesive, ultraviolet light curing adhesive), polyurethane glue (polyurethane), Epoxy glue (Epoxy resin), or the like, which can be used for adhering the cover glass 12 or the adhesive 14 of the touch screen.
Because the adhesive 14 has the characteristics of strong bonding force, high tensile strength, weather resistance, vibration resistance, moisture resistance, odor resistance and large adaptability to cold and heat changes, when the silicone adhesive is used between the cover glass 12 or the touch screen and the display panel 11, the connection strength and the bonding effect between the single layer region of the array substrate and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen can be improved, the structural strength of the array substrate is further improved, and the array substrate is prevented from being damaged due to poor structural strength.
Specifically, the cross section of the opening of the cavity 131 of the position-limiting frame 13 may be rectangular, or may be any other shape such as an oval shape or a trapezoidal shape in which the terminal cover is provided.
In addition, as shown in fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for manufacturing a display device 1 in any one of the above embodiments, including:
step S21, forming limiting frames 13 corresponding to the terminals of the display panel 11 one by one on one side surface of the cover glass 12 or the touch screen, wherein each limiting frame 13 and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen form a cavity 131 with an opening facing the corresponding terminal; as shown in the structure of fig. 1, two limiting frames 13 are disposed on the surface of one side of the formed cover glass 12 or touch screen facing the terminals, two terminals electrically connected to the driving circuit are disposed in a single-layer area of the array substrate of the display panel 11, and the terminals correspond to the limiting frames 13 one to one; the number of terminals arranged on a single layer region of the array substrate of the display panel 11 is not limited to two, and three, four or more terminals may be arranged according to actual needs; each limit frame 13 and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen form a cavity 131 with an opening facing the corresponding terminal, as shown in the structure of fig. 3, each limit frame 13 arranged on the cover glass 12 or the touch screen and the cover glass 12 or the touch screen respectively enclose a cavity 131;
step S22, filling adhesive 14 in each cavity 131; as shown in the structure of fig. 3, the cavity 131 of each position-limiting frame 13 is filled with an adhesive 14, and the adhesive 14 may be a silicone adhesive;
step S23, after the time is set, attaching the cover glass 12 or the touch screen to the display panel 11, so that each terminal passes through the corresponding opening and is fixed to the adhesive 14 in the corresponding limiting frame 13; the cover glass 12 or the touch screen is attached to the display panel 11 through the adhesive filled in the cavity 131 of the limiting frame 13, and specifically, the array substrate of the display panel 11 is attached to the cover glass 12 or the touch screen through the adhesive 14, so that the structural strength of the array substrate is improved, and the array substrate is prevented from being damaged.
In step S23, that is, in the process of attaching the cover glass 12 or the touch panel to the display panel 11 after the set time, the set time may be 15min to 25min, for example: 15min, 17min, 18min, 19min, 20min, 21min, 22min, 23min and 25 min.
Specifically, in order to achieve the best adhesion effect between the cover glass 12 or the touch panel and the display panel 11, the setting time may be 20 min.

forming limiting frames which correspond to terminals of a display panel one by one on the surface of one side of the cover plate glass or the touch screen, wherein each limiting frame and the cover plate glass or the touch screen form a cavity with an opening facing the corresponding terminal; the limiting frame is made of a low surface energy material;
filling an adhesive in each cavity;
after the time is set, the cover plate glass or the touch screen is attached to the display panel, so that each terminal penetrates through the corresponding opening to be fixed into the adhesive in the corresponding limiting frame.
