Abstract
The invention provides a B-pillar upper joint structure which comprises a side wall outer plate, an A-pillar upper reinforcing plate, a B-pillar reinforcing plate and an upper boundary beam inner plate, wherein the A-pillar upper reinforcing plate and the B-pillar reinforcing plate are arranged between the side wall outer plate and the upper boundary beam inner plate, one end of the A-pillar upper reinforcing plate is overlapped with one end of the B-pillar reinforcing plate, a first notch is arranged at the lower part of the A-pillar upper reinforcing plate at the overlapped part, a second notch is arranged at the upper part of the B-pillar reinforcing plate at the overlapped part, the upper part of the side wall outer plate, the upper reinforcing plate of the A-pillar and the upper boundary beam inner plate are overlapped together, and the lower part of the side wall outer plate, the lower part of the B-pillar reinforcing plate and the lower part of the upper boundary beam inner plate are overlapped together. The lower part of the reinforcing plate on the A column is provided with the first notch, and the upper part of the reinforcing plate on the B column is provided with the second notch, so that four layers of welding can be avoided, the lap joint notches are asymmetrically arranged, the number of the lap joint notches is reduced, the stress concentration at the notch is reduced, and the reinforcing plate on the B column is bonded with the reinforcing plate on the A column, so that the rigidity continuity of the reinforcing plate is improved.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of automobile bodies, in particular to a B-pillar upper joint structure.
Background
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the B pillar upper joint is an important lap joint structure of a vehicle body, a structural cavity is formed by an inner plate and an outer plate, structural rigidity and strength are enhanced by taking a reinforcing plate as a framework, the quality of joint rigidity/strength directly influences the offset collision safety performance, and the torsion rigidity of the whole vehicle and the opening rigidity of a door frame, and the structure generally comprises a side wall outer plate, an a pillar upper reinforcing plate, a B pillar reinforcing plate, an upper side beam inner plate and a B pillar inner plate;
the welding edges of the lap joint positions of the reinforcing plates on the A column and the reinforcing plates on the B column are made into sawtooth structures which are vertically symmetrical in order to avoid four layers of welding, so that certain stress concentration exists at the notch, the lap joint width is increased, and the blanking size is increased;
the overlapping part of the A/B column reinforcing plate cannot be welded, the cavity is used as a sectional form, and the rigidity is discontinuous.

As a further improvement of the invention, the molded surface of the B column reinforcing plate is the same as that of the A column reinforcing plate, and the lap joint part is also provided with a glue layer.
As a further improvement of the invention, the B-pillar upper joint structure further comprises a B-pillar inner plate, wherein the upper part of the B-pillar inner plate is overlapped with the lower part of the upper boundary beam inner plate, the B-pillar inner plate is provided with a fillet overlap joint part, and the fillet overlap joint part is provided with two layers of welding spots and three layers of welding spots.
