Abstract

本发明提供一种虚拟网络功能扩容的方法和装置，该方法包括：根据所述VNF中执行业务的VM的资源负载和虚拟网络描述符VNFD文件中第一VDU中的VM基础设施资源信息，确定所述VNF运行时所需的VM基础设施资源；其中，所述第一VDU为当前与所述VNF对应的VDU；根据所述VNFD文件中每个VDU中的VM基础设施资源信息和所述VNF运行时所需的VM基础设施资源，从所述VNFD文件的所有VDU中确定与所述VNF运行时所需的VM基础设施资源的匹配度最大的第二VDU；根据所述第二VDU对所述VNF进行扩容。本实施例提供的VNF扩容的方法和装置，可以减少VNF扩容时的VM基础设施资源的浪费。
