A camera sharing device, the device being adapted to be used for video calls, the device comprising an interface circuit, a memory, and a processor, wherein the memory stores a set of program codes, and the processor is adapted to call the program codes stored in the memory to perform the following operations:
when a video call is carried out with first user equipment, if the definition of a camera on the device is low, searching at least one second user equipment in the same local area network, selecting target equipment from the at least one second user equipment, sending a control request to the target equipment so that the target equipment selects partial authority aiming at the camera, and returning the selected authority information to the device;
receiving the authority information sent by the target equipment;
sending an opening instruction of a camera to the target equipment according to the authority information so that the target equipment opens the camera; sending a sampling frequency instruction to the target equipment to enable the target equipment to adjust the sampling frequency of the camera; sending a light-taking area to the target equipment to enable the target equipment to control a camera on the target equipment to shoot a video or an image, and receiving shot image data sent by the target equipment; sending a shooting end instruction to the target device, wherein the shooting end instruction is used for the target device to end the camera control;
displaying the image data;
when a determination instruction input by a user for the image data is detected, sending the image data to the first user equipment;
wherein the searching for at least one second user equipment in the same local area network comprises:
determining a plurality of candidate IP addresses which are positioned in the same network segment with the network address of the local area network;
and sending a data test packet to the candidate IP addresses, and identifying the candidate IP addresses with successful connection test, wherein each second user equipment corresponds to one candidate IP address.
