对人及财产的威胁可能源自任何数量的不同的源。例如,火灾可能杀死或伤害已经成为被火灾困于家中的居住者。类似地,来自火灾的一氧化碳可能将人杀死于他们的睡眠之中。

控制面板18可以监控威胁检测器。控制面板可以定位在如图1中所示的安全区域内或被远距离地定位。当检测到威胁检测器中的一个的激活时,控制面板将警报消息发送到中央监控站20。中央监控站可以通过召唤适当的援助(例如,消防局、警察局等)来进行响应。

传感器还可以包括由无线直升机无人机30携带的摄像机28。经由定位在无人机和控制面板内的相应的射频(RF)收发机32,通过控制面板控制无人机。

状态处理器可以通过监控用户界面来建立***状态。当检测到预先确定的PIN和装备密钥的输入时,***进入装备状态。类似地,当检测到预先确定的PIN和解除密钥的输入时,***进入解除状态。
类似地,通信处理器形成控制面板和无人机之间的连接。可以通过使用IEEE802.15.4协议和/或6LowPAN/IPv6/lot协议之下的RF收发机的一个或多个无线接入点来建立连接。
在一个所图解的实施例下,与安全***关联的监控处理器经由无人机和无人机摄像机捕获安全区域的图像。在该实施例下,无人机的定位***44(例如GPS)在实时基础上将定位信息(即地理坐标)提供给控制面板。安全***的路由处理器使用来自无人机的定位信息来基于安全区域内的威胁控制无人机的位置。例如,路由处理器可以从保存在存储器内的文件46取回一组地理坐标,以自动地将无人机路由通过安全区域内的三维(3D)空间而达到检测到的威胁的区域以便捕获威胁的图像。
先前保存的以及从存储器取回的预先设置或预先保存的路线可以限定通过安全区域的许多路线。例如,在沿走廊的中心而行的被编程的路线的情况下,走廊的相对的各侧可以限定沿着走廊从房屋的前入口到后卧室的路线的外侧界限。另一预先保存的路线可以限定沿着安全区域的周边的安全巡逻。
还包括在预先设置和/或预先保存的路线内的可以是针对沿着路线的每个地点的、由无人机携带的摄像机的一组摇摄、倾斜和变焦(PTZ)位置。随着无人机沿着路线中的每个行进,PTZ位置被从存储器中取回并且用于定位摄像机以用于从沿着路线的每个地点记录视频。所记录的视频可以被保存在无人机内或者被传送回控制面板。
在另一实施例下,可以提供操纵杆48以用于控制无人机和/或摄像机。使用操纵杆,用户可以基于情况的紧急需求独立地将无人机路由到其它地点。随着用户将无人机路由通过空间,用户也可以分离地调整摄像机的PTZ位置并根据需要记录视频。
一般而言,图1的***提供许多超过常规***的优点。例如,常规的互联网协议(IP)摄像机被安装在固定的地点,并且不能用于覆盖整个房屋或办公室周边。安装的地点可能并非总是被优化的并且固有地包括范围限制。
此外,常规的安全***除了通过使用固定的摄像机的PTZ运动范围的有限的能力之外不能利用静态摄像机跟踪可疑的行为。常规的***不能实时地使事件可视化,并且不能追上并跟踪通过周边的可疑人员。在警报的情况下,经常需要人为干预来确定警报是真实的警报还是虚假的警报。
常规的摄像机不能从在那里使用静态摄像机的不同的远程地点查看整个房屋(内部/外部)。常规的***不能提供动态的、实时的和移动的家庭和/或办公室监视。
WiFi和/或RF6的使用可以被用于从非常大的距离控制无人机。这允许安全***被集成有使用实况流和可靠的位置控制机制的无人机***。这允许用户基于事件触发将摄像机移动到关注/事件/警报/活动/运动区域并自动地开始记录视频。用户能够使用家庭控制器和操纵杆来指定用于横越到想要的记录目的地的路径。替换地,无人机可以基于保存在存储器中的一个或多个路线使用事件特有的监视路径。用户可以采用具有对应的移动应用的简单操纵杆控制器来实时地控制摄像机位置和移动。
