When the voltage signal is a second voltage, the second voltage refers to the voltage of a telephone line in a state of incoming call, and an incoming call exists on a telephone line interface; and if the control module is in an idle state, the control module performs transceiving processing. If the control module is in the working state, the external telephone line can be in failure, and the control module carries out alarm processing.
When the voltage signal is a third voltage, the third voltage refers to an operating voltage at which the telephone line is in an off-hook state, and if the control module is in an operating state, the control module can continue the transceiving process. If the control module is in an idle state, it is possible that an external telephone line is failed or an off-hook answering operation has been performed by an external facsimile machine or telephone, and the control module performs an alarm process.
When the voltage signal is a fourth voltage, an abnormal condition may occur on an external telephone line, and the control module performs alarm processing; the fourth voltage refers to a voltage other than the zero voltage, the first voltage, the second voltage, and the third voltage.
The zero voltage refers to a voltage when a telephone line is disconnected (disconnected), and is characterized by a voltage of approximately 0V. The first voltage, which is the standby voltage when the telephone line is not off-hook (idle), is characterized in this embodiment by a dc voltage of about 48V. The second voltage is an operating voltage when the telephone line is off-hook (occupied), and is characterized by an ac voltage of about 10 to 18V in the present embodiment. The third voltage is a voltage when the telephone line has an incoming call (ringing), and is characterized by an ac voltage of about 24 to 72V in this embodiment.
