Abstract
提供一种显示面板的驱动***。所述显示面板的驱动***包括:直流‑直流变换电路、时序控制电路和源驱动电路,其中,源驱动电路包括有源积分电路;时序控制电路控制直流‑直流变换电路输出方波信号,并且将接收的图像信号转换为像素灰阶值数据;有源积分电路基于灰阶值数据和方波信号输出灰阶电压。本发明通过在源驱动电路中采用有源积分电路,可以精简显示面板的驱动***,有效地降低生产成本。

技术领域
本发明涉及显示领域,更具体地说,涉及一种显示面板及其驱动***。
背景技术
如图1所示,传统的显示面板的驱动***100包括DC/DC变换器101、伽马校正(Gamma correction)电路102、时序控制器(TCON)103、源驱动电路104和显示面板105。源驱动电路104中主要包括有电阻串(R-string)106、数模转换器(DAC)107等模块。然而,如图2所示,电阻串106和DAC 107模块的电路结构复杂,占用较大的面积,因此传统的显示面板的驱动***的结构复杂、成本较高。
发明内容
为克服现有技术的不足,根据本发明构思的示例实施例提供一种显示面板的驱动***。所述显示面板的驱动***包括:一种显示面板的驱动***,其特征在于,包括:直流-直流变换电路、时序控制电路和源驱动电路,其中,源驱动电路包括有源积分电路,时序控制电路控制直流-直流变换电路输出方波信号,并且从接收的图像信号提取像素灰阶值数据;有源积分电路基于像素灰阶值数据和方波信号输出灰阶电压。
优选地,所述显示面板的驱动***的有源积分电路包括可编程电阻器和运算放大器。
优选地,所述运算放大器的负输入端与可编程电阻器相连,运算放大器的正输入端与方波信号连接。
优选地,有源积分电路还包括布置在运算放大器的负输入端与正输入端之间的电容器。
优选地,可编程电阻器根据不同的像素灰阶值数据而具有不同的电阻值。
优选地,运算放大器基于像素灰阶值数据和方波信号输出灰阶电压。
优选地,运算放大器的输出端输出灰阶电压其中,Vref表示方波信号的高电平所对应的参考电压值,R表示可编程电阻器的电阻值,C表示电容器的电容值,VREF表示方波信号,t表示时间积分变量。
有益效果:
根据本发明构思的示例实施例,在源驱动电路中采用有源积分电路,可以精简显示面板的驱动***,省去Gamma校正模块以及电阻串和DAC模块,可以缩小印刷电路板的面积,从而有效地降低生产成本。

具体实施方式
参照附图提供以下的描述以帮助全面理解由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明构思的各种实施例。以下描述包括用于帮助理解的各种具体细节,但是这些细节应被仅视为示例性的。因此,本领域的普通技术人员将认识到,在不脱离本发明构思的范围和精神的情况下,可对这里描述的实施例进行各种改变和修改。另外,为了清楚和简明,可省略对公知功能和构造的描述。
图3示出根据本发明构思的示例实施例的显示面板的驱动***300。参照图3,本发明的显示面板的驱动***300包括:直流-直流(DC/DC)变换电路301、时序控制电路(TCON)303、包括有源积分电路306的源驱动电路304以及显示面板305。
DC/DC变换电路301可以为显示面板的驱动***中的各个模块提供电力。TCON 303输出所需占空比的方波,该方波可经过DC/DC变换电路301转变为方波信号VREF(例如,图5A所示),其中,方波信号VREF的高电平部分对应的电压值为Vref;此外TCON 303接收图像信号Sig,并且从图像信号Sig中提取与各个颜色通道相关的像素灰阶值数据GLD。源驱动电路304中的有源积分电路306接收方波信号VREF和像素灰阶值数据GLD来输出灰阶电压,显示面板305根据输出的灰阶电压显示相应的灰阶亮度。下面将参照图4来详细地描述有源积分电路306。
如图4所示,有源积分电路306通过运算放大器306-3来实现。有源积分电路306的运算放大器306-3的负输入端通过可编程电阻器306-1连接到地端,运算放大器306-3的正输入端与方波信号VREF连接,在运算放大器306-3的输出端与负输入端之间连接有具有恒定电容值的电容器306-2。从运算放大器306-3的输出端输出相应的灰阶电压,例如,可根据以下的等式1得到灰阶电压Vo:
在等式1中,Vref表示方波信号的高电平所对应的参考电压值,R表示可编程电阻器306-1的电阻值,C表示电容器306-2的电容值,VREF表示方波信号,t表示时间积分变量。其中,电容值C是预先确定的,而可编程电阻器306-1的电阻值R会根据图像的像素灰阶值数据GLD的变化而变化,根据等式1,以三角波的形式输出灰阶电压。参照等式1以及图5A和图5B,在充电时间t1内,当R值变化时,三角波的斜率(图5B中的K1~K3)随其变化,从而输出不同大小的灰阶电压Vo,例如,图5B中示出的V1~V3。因而,根据本发明构思的实施例,通过调整可编程电阻器306-1的电阻值R,来调整三角波的斜率,从而可获得不同的灰阶电压。显示面板305根据输出的灰阶电压Vo来显示相应的灰阶亮度。
根据本发明构思的示例实施例,在源驱动电路中采用有源积分电路,可以精简显示面板的驱动***,省去Gamma校正模块以及电阻串和DAC模块,可以缩小印刷电路板的面积,从而有效地降低成本。
根据本发明构思的示例实施例不受限于如以上所描述的实施例,并且可在本发明构思的技术方案允许的范围内,在形式和细节上进行各种改变。
尽管已经参照本发明构思的实施例示出和描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解,在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本公开的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种改变。
Claims (3)
1.一种显示面板的驱动***,其特征在于,包括:直流-直流变换电路、时序控制电路和源驱动电路,
其中,源驱动电路包括有源积分电路,
时序控制电路控制直流-直流变换电路输出方波信号,并且从接收的图像信号提取像素灰阶值数据;
有源积分电路包括可编程电阻器和运算放大器;运算放大器的负输入端与可编程电阻器相连,运算放大器的正输入端与方波信号连接;有源积分电路还包括布置在运算放大器的负输入端与正输入端之间的电容器;可编程电阻器根据不同的像素灰阶值数据而具有不同的电阻值;运算放大器基于像素灰阶值数据和方波信号输出灰阶电压。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示面板的驱动***,其特征在于,运算放大器的输出端输出灰阶电压其中,Vref表示方波信号的高电平所对应的参考电压值,R表示可编程电阻器的电阻值,C表示电容器的电容值,VREF表示方波信号,t表示时间积分变量。
3.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括权利要求1或2所述的显示面板的驱动***。
