The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the casing has an upper top wall, the compressor of the heat pump module has a bottom, and when the heat pump module is disposed on the top side of the casing in an overhead manner, the bottom of the compressor of the heat pump module extends downward beyond the top side of the casing.

The heat pump module of a laundry treating apparatus according to claim 5, wherein a reference plane of an inner top wall of the laundry treating apparatus is m, a distance between a lowest point of the outer peripheral wall of the first receiving groove and the reference plane is H, and the H satisfies: h is more than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 200 mm.
9. The heat pump module of a laundry treating apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the H satisfies: h is more than or equal to 10 and less than or equal to 100 mm.
