Abstract

技术领域
本公开涉及使用表面改性处理剂处理地下地层的方法,所述表面改性处理剂具有锚固部和疏水尾部。
背景技术
用于增强来自烃产出储层的烃的生产率的替代方案包括提高被井穿透的地层的渗透性的方法。其它方法涉及提高井内的油/水产出比率的那些。其它改进方法是用于抑制地层中的不希望物质(包括水垢、沥青质、盐、石蜡等)的形成。这些方法中的一些方法包括开发用于增强生产率的井处理化学品。
注意力进一步专注于使地层增产(stimulating)的改进方法。由于井的生产率取决于从地层至井眼的裂缝导流烃的能力,因此裂缝导流能力为确定增产操作的成功程度的重要参数。在压裂和产出的过程中,储层“细颗粒”的产生和/或活动由于通过细颗粒堵塞孔喉从而对降低裂缝导流能力并且降低储层渗透性起作用。尽管经涂布颗粒(例如支撑剂)的使用成功地最小化细颗粒的产生,但已经寻求替代方案。

用于减少摩擦的替代方案专注于减阻剂。通常地,减阻剂为旨在建立非牛顿凝胶结构的具有长链的大聚合物。减阻凝胶对剪切敏感并且通常需要特定的注射装置(例如增压输送***)。此外,由于减阻剂通常为高粘性的,通常载液中存在不多于10重量%的聚合减阻剂。一些注意力专注于使用聚合物的浆料或分散体从而在液体介质中形成自由流动和可泵送的混合物。然而,这种聚合物通常随着时间附聚,因此非常难以将其置于需要减少阻力的烃液中。

在一个实施方案中,表面改性处理剂的特征在于疏水尾部和锚固部。为了本文的目的,术语“疏水尾部”应当表示表面改性处理剂的疏水取代基。“锚固部”表示表面改性处理剂衍生物的非疏水部分。锚固部提供表面改性处理剂至地下地层上的附接位点。例如,锚固部可以将表面改性处理剂共价连接至地下地层的表面。
疏水尾部可以直接地附接至锚固部。替代性地,疏水尾部可以间接地附接至锚固部使得有机官能团位于锚固部和疏水尾部之间。例如,疏水尾部和锚固部可以通过烃基(例如饱和或不饱和的烯烃基、烯基、炔基等)分开。
尽管处理剂的尾部具有疏水特征,其还可以具有疏油性质。处理剂因此可以被视为是全疏性的(omniphobic)。
表面改性处理剂的尾部仅通过锚固部间接地附接至地层基材。
表面改性处理剂的尾部可以对准从而赋予处理剂的疏水特征远离地层表面。由于流体与地层表面的侧向附着减少,井内的水和由此的水性流体可以容易地滑动通过携带其与烃的基材表面。因此,疏水尾部降低水饱和度并且强化来自地层表面的水采收。
其上结合有表面改性处理剂的地下地层可以为硅质地层(例如砂岩)以及包含金属氧化物的地层(包括碳酸盐地层)。地层可以富含粘土并且金属可以包括铝。
在一个实施方案中,表面改性处理剂的尾部与地层基材自对准从而形成单层或多层组装。据信这通过尾部在基材表面上的化学结合引发的自发组织而产生。
表面改性处理剂的锚固部可为有机含磷酸衍生物,其中有机含磷酸衍生物上的取代基的至少一种是疏水的。在优选的实施方案中,锚固部为有机磷酸、有机膦酸或有机次膦酸的衍生物。
锚固部的有机基团是单体或聚合的。

除了单体有机含磷酸衍生物之外,也可以使用源自各个单体酸的自缩合的低聚或聚合有机含磷酸衍生物。

当泵入包含金属氧化物的地层时,据信具有有机含磷酸衍生物的表面改性处理剂的锚固部与地下地层的金属氧化物表面的金属原子(“M”)共价相互作用以形成M-O-P共价桥。据信该桥由地层表面上的羟基与P-OH的聚合造成。因此,锚固部和基材地层表面的示例性结合可表示为-O-P-O-M-。由此表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部通过中间-O-P-O键附接至包含金属氧化物的地层。由此表面改性处理剂的锚固部与地层表面上的氧化物反应性基团形成共价键。据信形成磷酰基氧表面金属原子的络合。
图1给出了与地层表面配位和聚合形成三齿膦酸酯表面物质的示意图,其中X为(硅质地层的)-Si或(包含金属氧化物的地层的)-M。
本文公开的表面改性处理剂有效地降低烃产出储层内的流体的摩擦阻力。摩擦阻力可能在井内流体的湍流过程中产生。当结合至基材的表面时,本文公开的表面改性处理剂减小井内基材和流体之间的滑动角。滑动角的减小可能在烃和用表面改性处理剂处理的基材之间。此外,滑动角的减小可能在水(水相)和用表面改性处理剂处理的基材之间。在烃和水相中流体流动的改进均是显而易见的。
因此,井内摩擦阻力的减少归因于表面改性处理剂与基材表面的结合。因此,基材表面的改性减少阻力并且提供来自井的烃(或水相)的改进的流动。因此通过使用表面改性处理剂提高了烃产出井的生产率。
在泵送来自烃产出储层的采出烃的过程中,本文公开的表面改性处理剂在减少摩擦阻力方面具有特殊价值。
滑动角的减小的进一步的益处在于:在压裂流体返回表面之后通过提高来自井的回流水的采收从而增强水的负载采收。
正如本文所使用的,滑动角(也被称为倾斜角)为液滴与基材表面的侧向附着的量度。因此,流体在结合表面改性处理剂的基材上的滑动角小于相同流体在未结合表面改性处理剂的(相同)基材(“原始未改性基材”)上的滑动角。当表面改性处理剂仅结合至基材的一部分时,流体滴在基材的结合表面改性处理剂的部分上的滑动角小于流体在未结合表面改性处理剂的基材上的滑动角。
因此通过流体与地层表面的滑动角的减小测量在从井中产出烃的过程中的摩擦阻力的减少。附着结合强度的减小造成液体和固体表面之间减少的阻力,使得流体在给定应力下更容易流动。滑动角的减小通过减少截留在地层内的流体的量从而加速来自井的流体的流动。
在一个实施方案中,流体与用表面改性处理剂处理的基材表面的滑动角可以小于或等于60°;在一些情况下小于或等于20°;在其它情况下小于或等于10°,并且在一些其它情况下小于或等于5°。在一种情况下,观察到烃的滑动角小于10°。在其它情况下,通过滑动角从80°(未处理基材)减小至40°(经处理基材),观察到流体的侧向附着的减少。
滑动角的减小独立于接触角。接触角表示液滴和基材表面之间的角度。由于液-固接触面积的减少,大的接触角减少液滴与固体表面的正常附着。
接触角为疏水性的量度。通常地,当接触角小于90°时液体被认为是“可湿的(non-wet)”或亲水的,当接触角大于90°时被认为是“非润湿性的”或疏水的。水接触角大于150°的表面通常被称为“超疏水的”,表征斥水表面。超疏水表面可以具有小于10°,在一些情况下小于5°的接触角滞后。当接触角小于90°时,当基材相比于平滑是粗糙的时,表面改性的基材的润湿倾向可能更大。当接触角大于90°时,当基材粗糙时基材可能更为斥水。
由于疏水性防止在基材表面上形成水封,接触角指示基材内的毛细管压力。然而接触角表示静态条件,滑动角表示井底的流体移动。接触角和滑动角之间没有关系。同样地,接触角不提供滑动角的指示。在小于或等于20°的接触角和减小的滑动角下可见摩擦阻力的改进。此外,在大于或等于120°的接触角和减小的滑动角下观察到摩擦阻力的改进。例如,在表现出接触角小于20°并且滑动角小于20°,和接触角大于120°并且滑动角小于20°的流体的情况下可见表面改性处理剂在基材表面上减少摩擦阻力的效果。
表面改性处理剂可以作为井处理流体的组分泵入地层。井处理流体可以在井处理操作过程中的任何时间泵入地层。在一个实施方案中,井处理流体可以为压裂流体,前置流体,酸化流体等。
表面改性处理剂在井处理流体中的浓度通常为约0.01%-100%或更通常约0.1%-约20%(v/v)。
表面改性处理剂可以溶于或分散于稀释剂中以形成溶液。合适的稀释剂包括醇例如甲醇、乙醇或丙醇,脂族烃例如己烷、异辛烷和癸烷,醚例如四氢呋喃和二烷基醚,例如二乙基醚。用于氟化材料的稀释剂可以包括全氟化的化合物,例如全氟化的四氢呋喃。
本文公开的表面改性处理剂可以改变被处理的地层的表面能。
表面改性处理剂的锚固部与地层的附接防止细颗粒的剥落。使细颗粒向地层的产出区域中的迁移最小化并且使原位细颗粒的产生最小化或稳定化。
尾部的疏水性质进一步改变地层表面的润湿性。共价附接至地层表面的自组装的疏水单层降低水饱和度并且强化来自地层表面的水采收。
可以通过使用本文公开的表面改性处理剂使弱固结、半固结或未固结地层的颗粒进一步固结。处理剂的锚固部与表面地层的反应防止或最小化流体向地层中的流入。
在泵入地层时,表面改性处理剂可以进入地层的孔隙。表面改性处理剂的分子与地层颗粒的多重相互作用造成地层颗粒的聚集或附聚。此外,据信表面改性处理剂与地层表面或地层表面的一部分的反应性造成地层表面附近的疏水尾部的聚集或附聚。使用表面改性处理剂作为使地层颗粒固结的手段在处理页岩地层方面是特别有效的。
固结进一步为地层提供稳定性,因为聚集的颗粒允许流体通过泵入的流体回流而不使地层固体回流至表面。该现象归因于使表面改性处理剂锚固至表面地层上并且归因于处理剂的尾部的对准,实现流体与地层表面的有限的接触时间。
在另一个实施方案中,可以通过使用表面改性处理剂减少油和气产出地层中的粘土的溶胀、分散、分解、迁移和以其它方式被破坏或受抑制,并且原生流体产出可以逐出孔喉中的细颗粒。当地层粘土受到外来物质(例如水性井处理流体)的干扰时,粘土颗粒的溶胀和迁移的程度通常增加。如同细颗粒地层,在例如通过增加处理流体的总体积增产和完井的过程中,地层粘土的溶胀和迁移存在问题。例如,在井处理流体的存在下,粘土通常膨胀并且由于变得未固结而被破坏,因此产生迁移至钻孔的颗粒。表面改性处理剂上的疏水尾部的存在防止或抑制了地层粘土颗粒的溶胀和迁移。因此通过地层毛细管的阻碍,可以通过使用本文公开的表面改性处理剂减少或防止地层粘土的溶胀和迁移。因此使地层渗透性的损失最小,从而造成很小的(如果有的话)烃流速的降低。
在一个优选的实施方案中,表面改性处理剂用于处理页岩地层或富含粘土的地层从而涂覆地层表面以减少吸水性或吸涨水(imbibementofwater)从而减少溶胀。
表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部的存在阻碍了水在产出地层的水饱和区域中的渗透性而不降低对油或气的相对渗透性。由于相对渗透性取决于孔的结构和尺寸、地层表面的润湿性和地层内的水的毛细管压力,在一些情况下,例如在地层的特征在于较大孔的情况下,可以改进水和油的渗透性。在小孔表面的情况下,表面改性处理剂的通过锚固部间接地附接至地层的矿物表面的疏水尾部相对不对油渗透性破坏。例如,其在油饱和的砂岩地层中特别有效同时具有主要在水饱和区域中降低水渗透性的能力。
本文公开的表面改性处理剂还可以用于处理富气储层或逆行凝析气储层,因此由于增加凝析产出而对逆行气田具有价值。在所述储层中,当井内的储层压力降低至气体露点以下时,气体的重质终馏分可以以液体形式从气体溶液中沉淀。当其饱和度超过束缚凝析饱和度时,凝析的液体由于重力而向下排出。在逆行气的情况下,即使压力由于速度降低而增加,液体也不能重新吸收至气相。当在逆行气井中泵入包含本文公开的表面改性处理剂的井处理流体时,可以维持地层的渗透性,并且使凝析物的漏失(dropout)最小。因此,又使在来自水基井处理流体的侵入水和沉淀的烃之间的乳液形成的可能性最小。因此可以维持低于烃的露点的压力。通过增强地层对液态烃的渗透性,使轻质凝析液体的损失最小并且因此轻质凝析液体可以更容易地被驱替。
本文公开的表面改性处理剂还可以用于增强水的负载采收率。在压裂流体返回至表面之后,表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部的存在提供来自井的回流水的增加的采收。相对于注入井中的流体的体积,在一些情况下回流水可以低至25%,而在一些情况下可以高达75%。在具有复杂的狭窄裂缝和有限的导流能力并且通常经历较低范围的流体采收值(30%或更少)的页岩裂缝中,本申请特别有用。该采收的不足通常被解释为造成地层损坏(由残留的聚合物凝胶残留物和高毛细管压力),造成降低的气/采产出。本发明中描述的造成从页岩型地层采收增加的水的方法因此可以被解释为减少地层损坏,并且因此改进井的生产率。例如,在马塞勒斯页岩地层上的常见的压裂工作中,根据泵送阶段的数目,可以在井中泵入20,000至150,000桶压裂流体。
表面改性处理剂的疏水性质可以进一步用于控制渗透性地层的近井眼区域的孔中的水凝析。通常地,由接近井眼的气储层内的烃的凝析形成的液体区域妨碍气体流动,减少井的生产率,形成“水封”或“水带”区域。渗透性地层的近井眼区域的孔中的水凝析可能由于表面改性处理剂的存在而减少。可以通过表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部抑制水带的形成从而控制通过地层的近井眼区域的孔的流体输送和水通量。
在一个实施方案中,井处理流体可以为压裂流体,前置流体,酸化流体等的组分。当用在水性压裂流体中时,表面改性处理剂优选分散在流体内。
表面改性处理剂可以进一步用于增强注入井在注水操作中的生产率。通过在地层中钻孔的一个或多个注入井泵入的油田水或油田盐水造成地层内的油的驱替和烃采收的改进。在一个实施方案中,一个或多个注入井可以彼此隔开并且穿孔从而能够在一个或多个产出井的方向上引导包含表面改性处理剂的注入流体使其进入含烃地层。表面改性处理剂上的烃尾部的存在增强地下地层的基质内的水流方向。在地层中泵入注入流体时,井处理流体中的表面改性处理剂使得水转向通过地层。通过该方式,烃朝向一个或多个产出井驱替。之后,从产出井中将烃产出至表面。
本文公开的表面改性处理剂可以进一步用于处理焦油砂地层。通常通过注入蒸汽将原油的粘度降低并使至膨胀至可以朝向产出井推动的点,从而完成常规的从焦油砂内的重质油沉积物采收烃。重质油在储层温度下不可移动,因此通常加热油从而降低其粘度并且使油流动。表面改性处理剂通过最小化水至沉积物的流动从而增强油的流动并且因此强化从焦油砂采收油。在从焦油砂沉积物中除去油时,表面改性处理剂的疏水性进一步最小化蒸汽的干扰。
在另一个实施方案中,表面改性处理剂用在酸化操作中从而提高酸向地层中的渗透。由于表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部或者位于地层表面上或者接近地层表面,酸与地层表面的反应得以延迟。反应性酸因此可以腐蚀离处理流体的入口更远的区域中的地层。因此可以造成酸在井中更深的渗透。
此外,表面改性处理剂可以用于截流进入地层的水。就此而言,发现表面改性处理剂特别可用于处理具有粒度更细的颗粒的基质地层,所述粒度更细的颗粒介于更大的岩石颗粒或其中嵌入更大颗粒的粒度更细的颗粒之间。表面改性处理剂上的疏水尾部减少水向特征在于低渗透性的基质地层的流入。此外,基质地层由于水向井眼的流入而产生大量的水。随着时间的变化,产出水的百分比或量可能增加,造成希望的烃的产出的相应减少,最终造成从井中产出烃不经济。间接地附接至地层的疏水尾部阻止水流入地层或者以其它方式减少水流入。这造成增加的烃产出速率并且最终增加可采收储量。
在一个实施方案中,表面改性处理剂可以充当被动抗微生物剂从而抑制主要由地层水或注入地层的流体中的氮和/或磷造成的细菌生长。表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部排斥来自地层的流体并且因此减少地层中的流体的接触时间。这防止了好氧菌、厌氧菌和其它微生物的形成。
在另一个实施方案中,表面改性处理剂可以用于被动地抑制、控制、防止或除去水垢沉积至地层上或地层内。表面改性处理剂的疏水尾部最小化或减少该物质附接至地层的能力。这可能归功于该矿物水垢(例如钙盐、钡盐、镁盐等,包括硫酸钡、硫酸钙和碳酸钙水垢)的疏水性质。复合物可以进一步用于处理其它无机水垢,例如金属硫化物水垢,例如硫化锌,硫化铁等。由于该水垢倾向于堵塞孔隙并且降低地层的孔隙率和渗透性,本文描述的表面改性处理剂改进地层的渗透性
当涂覆在被处理的地层的基材上,表面改性处理剂的尾部的大体积(bulky)性质防止或控制有机颗粒在地层基材上的沉积,细颗粒与流体返回至表面。此外,表面改性处理剂与地层的结合最小化用于该有机颗粒的结合位点。因此,表面改性处理剂可以用于控制或防止有机物质(例如石蜡和/或沥青质)在地层内或地层上的沉积。已知该固体和颗粒负面地影响完井的整体效率,并且如同水垢抑制剂一样,可以从产出水中沉淀并且在地层内的流动路径中造成堵塞。该不希望的污染物的形成和沉积降低地下地层的渗透性,降低井的生产率,并且在一些情况下可能完全堵塞井管。
可以将表面改性处理剂进一步引入非烃产出井中从而处置盐水。本申请可以用于不使用注水操作的情况。在该操作中,可以通过在盐水处置井中在淡水水平以下的渗透性低压层中注入水从而处置盐水。
通过首先预处理地层增强表面改性处理剂与地下地层的结合。在预处理中,首先在穿透地层的井中泵入无水流体。然后在井中泵入表面改性处理剂。通过用无水流体预处理地下地层从而促进到达表面改性处理剂结合至地下地层表面的位点。
可以使用任何能够降低水饱和度并且强化来自地层表面的水采收的无水溶剂。通常地,无水流体包含不多于18个碳原子并且可以由多于一种溶剂组成。
无水溶剂的示例为醇,例如C1-C6伯醇、仲醇或叔醇,例如甲醇、乙醇和丙醇;烃例如石蜡油、矿物油和C4-C18烃溶剂,例如己烷、异辛烷、癸烷、二甲苯、正戊烷、正己烷等;卤化烃例如氯化或氟化烃,例如亚甲基氯;二醇例如乙二醇和甲基丁基乙二醇;C3-C18醚,包括杂环醚例如四氢呋喃和烷基醚例如单丁基醚和二烷基醚例如二乙基醚单丁基醚;二醇醚例如二丙二醇甲基醚;全氟化合物例如全氟四氢呋喃;及其混合物。
在一个优选的实施方案中,无水流体为互溶剂(定义为任何在烃和水中化学互溶的溶剂),例如二醇醚和乙二醇单丁基醚。
可以在泵入表面改性处理剂之前在井中泵入一个或多个阶段的无水流体。当在泵入表面改性处理剂之前在井中泵入多于一个阶段的无水流体时,每个阶段可以由相同的无水流体或不同的无水流体组成。因此,例如,泵入井中的第一和第二阶段的无水流体可以均为烃,或者第一阶段可以为醇而第二阶段为烃。当在泵入表面改性处理剂之前在井中泵入多于两个阶段的无水流体时,所有阶段或多于一个阶段可以由相同的无水流体组成,或者每个阶段可以由不同的无水流体组成等。
在井中泵入无水流体之前或者在井中泵入不同阶段的无水流体之间,可以用盐溶液如碱性溶液(例如氢氧化钠或氢氧化钾)进一步处理地层表面。
当用盐溶液处理地层时,在井中泵入表面改性处理剂之前,优选用一个或多个随后阶段的无水流体处理地层。

实施例1.用空气排空尺寸为1.0"的直径和1.5"的长度并且具有200md的氮渗透率的贝雷砂岩岩心,然后用2%的氯化钾(KCl)水溶液或ExxonMobilChemical公司的ISOPARTM石蜡流体进行饱和。然后将岩心安装在流体静力岩心支架装置中。在出口端施加约200psi的背压并且围绕整个圆筒施加约1,000psi的侧限应力(上覆岩层压力)。侧限应力压力模拟井底地层中的应力。当用KCl进行饱和时,石蜡流体流流动通过岩心从而确定岩心对油的基线渗透率,然后是KCl溶液流从而确定对水的基线渗透率。当用石蜡流体进行饱和时,KCl溶液流流动通过岩心从而确定岩心对水的基线渗透率,然后是石蜡流体流从而确定对油的基线渗透率。横穿岩心的整个长度测量压降并且用于计算对水和对油的各自的基线渗透率。
将五倍孔体积的AL-B(其为2%的有机溶剂共混物中的具有烃聚合疏水尾部的有机膦酸酯,从Aculon,Inc.市售获得)的无水流体注入岩心中并且使其浸渍约一小时。在处理之后,首先使油流过并且对比恰好处理之后对油的渗透率和处理之前对油的渗透率。在油之后,使水流过并且测量处理之后在残留油的情况下的水渗透率,并且与恰好处理之前的水渗透率对比。同样地,测量在束缚水饱和度的情况下的油和在残留油饱和度的情况下的水,然后确定渗透性的保留百分比。
图2显示了测试的恢复百分比。当水恢复渗透率非常高(超过300%和468%)时,两种贝雷样本的油恢复渗透率略微超过100%。图2确定用包含疏水尾部的有机膦酸酯处理剂处理岩心提供了改进的流体从井中的返回率。数据证实:有机膦酸酯处理剂稳定细颗粒的移动,这是由于如果存在细颗粒的移动的话,将注意到降低的渗透率。此外,图2显示了由于渗透率的增加,使用有机膦酸酯处理剂可以减少固体回流至表面。此外,缺乏降低的渗透率证实了粘土的最小溶胀。此外,通过使用有机膦酸酯处理剂容易产出水的能力提供了细菌、水垢以及有机沉积物(例如沥青质)的最小停留时间。储层输送烃的能力的增加显示出来自焦油砂内的沉积物的烃采收的强化。此外,用有机膦酸酯对地层进行疏水性涂覆进一步抑制酸的反应性使得酸可更深地渗透至地层中。
实施例2.对由20-40目碎石、100目砂和325目二氧化硅组成的人造岩心进行渗透性测试。325目二氧化硅模仿地层中的细颗粒。人造岩心具有1.0"的直径和2.0"的长度并且具有100md的氮渗透率,并且用2%的氯化钾(KCl)水溶液进行饱和。然后将岩心安装在流体静力岩心支架装置中。在出口端施加约200psi的背压并且围绕整个圆筒施加约1,000psi的侧限应力(上覆岩层压力)。侧限应力压力模拟井底地层中的应力。然后使ISOPARTM石蜡流体流动通过岩心从而确定岩心对油的基线渗透率。当用石蜡流体进行饱和时,使KCl溶液流流动通过岩心。横穿岩心的整个长度测量压降并且用于计算对水和对油的各自的基线渗透率。
然后,在岩心中注入五倍孔体积的AL-B的无水流体并且使其浸渍约一小时。在处理之后,使石蜡流体流动通过各个岩心,然后测量在束缚水饱和度的情况下的油渗透率,然后确定渗透性的保留百分比。在油之后,使水流过并且测量处理之后在残留油的情况下的水渗透率并且与恰好处理之前的水渗透率对比。同样地,测量在束缚水饱和度的情况下的油和在残留油饱和度的情况下的水,然后确定渗透性的保留百分比。

实施例3.针对三种基材确定表面改性处理剂对水和烃的影响。每种表面改性处理剂具有疏水尾部和锚固部。锚固部通过共价键将表面改性处理剂固定至基材表面。表面改性处理剂为H1-F和AculonE[包含2%的在有机溶剂中的处理剂,所述处理剂的过渡金属(锚固部)结合至氟化烃尾部]和AL-B[包含2%的在有机溶剂共混物中的具有烃聚合疏水尾部的有机磷酸盐(锚固部)];全部从Aculon,Inc市售获得。Aculon-E和AL-B具有疏水和疏油性质,而H1-F仅具有疏水性质。
将表面改性处理剂喷在载玻片(具有比天然岩石更均匀的表面)、俄亥俄州砂岩岩心和贝雷砂岩岩心上从而提供约1至10nm厚的涂层。俄亥俄州砂岩岩心和贝雷砂岩岩心具有约1.0"的直径和1.5"的长度。表面改性处理剂的锚固部与基材表面上的氧化物反应。因此,表面改性处理剂共价结合至基材的表面。然后将样本保持在150F的炉中直至完全干燥从而除去溶剂。在改性之后,所有基材表面为疏水的。然后确定接触角和滑动(或滚落)角并且用作性能的主要量度。接触角表示表面的润湿性特征而滑动角和接触角滞后表征流体从基材滚落的容易性。
载玻片.表I显示了用水和ISOPAR-LTM石蜡流体(Isopar-L模拟油)获得的接触角。如所示,AL-B最为疏油,并且通过三种表面改性处理剂的每一者赋予的疏水性的量大致相同。用AculonE处理的玻璃具有20°的滑动角,而使用H1-F和AL-B改性的表面对水具有大的接触角滞后。即使在90°的旋转角度下,流体液滴仍然钉扎在表面上。当使用H1-F作为表面改性处理剂时,使用Isopar-L的滑动角为8-10°,对于AL-B为30°,对于AculonE则较少滚落。在最后一种情况下,前进(液滴前沿)角和后退(后端)角之间的滞后很大并且液滴钉扎在经改性玻璃的表面上。润湿性行为列在表I中并且证实了Aculon-E作为表面改性处理剂更有效地使水移动,而H1-F在油的流动方面更为有效。

在AculonH1-F和AL-B的情况下,接触角为147°并且表面能为1.67mJ/m2。然而,即使当样本旋转90°时,前进角和后退角之间的在20至40°范围内的滞后造成钉扎效应和水滴截留。吸附研究还证实当砂岩被处理时,水不能流动通过石材。30分钟之后水滴仍然保持在经改性砂岩的表面上,而对于对照俄亥俄州砂岩,水瞬间通过。当使用AculonE作为表面改性处理剂时,水与岩石表面的接触角为153°。表面能非常低。在该情况下,载体和水之间的相互作用小于分配移液管头和水之间的相互作用。液滴必须足够大从而其重量才能允许其离开移液管头。在该情况下,观察到17-20°的滑动角。由于样本平坦,随着液滴尺寸的增加,水更容易从岩石表面滑落。在岩石表面上没有留下水滴的吸附。
用Isopar-L确定用表面改性处理剂处理的表面的疏油性。当表面改性处理剂为H1-F时,观察到Isopar-L瞬间通过表面。与AL-B改性的砂岩的接触角为60°。通过砂岩岩心的吸附比H1-F的情况更慢,但是观察到岩心对Isopar-L更具渗透性。经改性砂岩的表面性质列在表II中。(表面能和附着功表示垂直于表面除去流体液滴的容易程度而滑动角表示使流体与表面切向移动的容易程度并且表示流体通过多孔介质的移动。)数据显示了与用经改性载玻片所观察的相似的结论,即当表面改性处理剂为AculonE时水的移动更为容易,而H1-F提供了更好的烃流动(由于表面的低表面能)。表面粗糙度的降低可能有助于阻力的减少和改进的烃流动。

贝雷砂岩.贝雷砂岩显示了与俄亥俄州砂岩相同的疏水行为。使用Isopar-L不能测量接触角。油的吸收非常快。AL-B的吸收比H1-F略慢。疏水性质和表面能结果显示在表IV中,其中显示了用Al-B和H1-F改性的表面具有低的表面能。

实施例4.使用保持在盐水(2%KCl、11.6ppgCaCl2、19.2ppgZnBr2、12.5ppgNaBr、13ppgCaBr2/CaCl2)中五个月的载玻片和经改性的载玻片和保持在产出水中一个月的砂岩进行寿命研究。使用原子力显微镜(AFM)确定表面的平滑性。将多个载玻片保持在相同的流体中并且每个月取出一个载玻片进行分析。然后用去离子水洗涤载玻片并且干燥,然后测试疏水性。用H1-F和AculonE改性的表面证实了在盐水中五个月之后的良好的稳定性。在AL-B的情况下,观察到接触角随时间减小。在五个月的时间内,H1-F改性的基材的滑动角减小至4°。
上文描述的或本文要求保护的方法以及可能落入所附权利要求的范围内的其它方法可以以任何希望的合适顺序实施并且不一定限制于本文描述的任何顺序或者如所附权利要求中所列出。此外,本公开的方法不一定要求使用本文显示和描述的具体实施方案,但是同样适用于任何其它合适的结构、形式和组分构造。
实施例5.首先确定在氧化物表面上沉积表面改性处理剂的自组装单层的有效方法。表面改性处理剂具有疏水尾部和锚固位点。锚固位点通过共价键将表面改性处理剂固定至基材表面。表面改性处理剂具有疏水性质并且从Aculon,Inc作为H1-F[包含2%的在有机溶剂中的处理剂,所述处理剂的过渡金属(锚固部)结合至氟化烃尾部]市售获得。在第一个测试(测试A)中,通过用H1-F喷射载玻片的表面对干净且干燥的载玻片直接进行单层改性。在第二个测试(测试B)中,用水薄膜润湿载玻片的表面。然后将H1-F施用至涂层。在第三个测试(测试C)中,用ISOPAR-LTM石蜡流体(ExxonMobilChemical公司的产品)的薄膜润湿载玻片的表面。ISOPAR-L模拟油湿储层。然后将H1-F施用至载玻片。
在施用纳米涂层之后,使每个样本静置约五分钟从而使表面上发生反应。然后干燥表面。然后在表面上放置水滴。如果水滴在表面上铺开,则推断结合质量是不可接受的。如果样本显示出疏水性,则推断涂层是成功的。测试A显示出疏水性而测试B和测试C未显示出疏水性。推断载玻片未被成功改性并且没有增强表面改性处理剂附接至表面的能力。
重复测试B并且使载玻片保持暴露于空气一段时间从而实现液体的完全蒸发。然后将HF-1施加至载玻片。然后发现表面改性的玻璃具有疏水性。没有观察到测试C的油性表面的相互作用。推断当被处理的岩石表面暴露于油或大量的水时,单层的结合效率可能非常低。进一步推断被处理的岩石表面可能需要干燥并且不具有有机物质以及其它污染物,使得表面改性处理剂能够更好地到达岩石的结合位点。
实施例6.使用两种尺寸为1.0"的直径和1.5"的长度的贝雷砂岩岩心。第一个岩心具有804md的氮渗透率,第二个岩心具有773md的氮渗透率。两种岩心具有约20%的孔隙率。用空气排空两种岩心,然后用2%的氯化钾(KCl)水溶液或ISOPARTM石蜡流体进行饱和。然后将岩心安装在流体静力岩心支架装置中。在出口端施加约200psi的背压并且围绕整个圆筒施加约1,000psi的侧限应力(上覆岩层压力)。侧限应力压力模拟井底地层中的应力。
第一个岩心不经受预冲洗但是在油中饱和。在产出方向上确定对油和水的初始渗透率。首先通过使水流动通过岩心直至压差稳定从而确定在残留油的情况下对水的渗透率。然后使油流动通过岩心并且确定对油的渗透率,直至在稳定压差下存在束缚水。然后在注入方向上用表面改性处理剂处理岩心,所述表面改性处理剂具有疏水和疏油性质并且从Aculon,Inc.作为Aculon-E[包含2%的在有机溶剂中的处理剂,所述处理剂的过渡金属(锚固部)连接至氟化烃尾部]市售获得。
最后,在产出方向上确定对油和水的渗透率。重复并且确定对水循环和油循环的渗透率。然后计算%恢复渗透率。
通过在2%KCl中饱和对第二个岩心进行预冲洗。在产出方向上确定对油和水的初始渗透率。首先通过使水流动通过岩心直至压差稳定从而确定在残留油的情况下对水的渗透率。然后使油流动通过岩心直至在稳定压差下建立束缚水。然后确定渗透率。之后注入10倍孔体积的甲醇作为预冲洗使其流动通过岩心。然后在注入方向上用Aculon-E处理样本。然后在产出方向上确定对油和水的渗透率。重复并且确定对水循环和油循环的渗透率。然后计算%恢复渗透率。
图4显示了获得的恢复渗透率的结果。如图所示,水恢复从第一个岩心(无预冲洗)的106%增加至第二个岩心(预冲洗)的548%。这证实了当岩心经过预冲洗时,表面改性处理剂的结合效率更好。在预冲洗或无预冲洗的情况下,油恢复保持基本上相似。

Claims (31)
1.处理被井穿透的硅质或包含金属(M)氧化物的地下地层的方法,所述方法:
(a)在井中泵入表面改性处理剂,所述表面改性处理剂具有锚固部和疏水尾部,其中疏水尾部直接附接至锚固部;
(b)通过将锚固部附接至所述地下地层从而使表面改性处理剂结合至所述地层的表面;和
(c)使表面改性处理剂与硅质或包含金属氧化物的地下地层对准,从而使得疏水尾部远离所述地层的表面。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中锚固部为有机含磷酸衍生物。
3.权利要求2的方法,其中步骤(b)包括通过形成如下物质从而使表面改性处理剂结合至所述地下地层的表面:(i)锚固部和硅质地层之间的O-P-O-Si共价键;或(ii)锚固部和包含金属氧化物的地层之间的O-P-O-M共价键。

(g)表面改性处理剂减少所述地下地层内的粘土的溶胀;
(h)表面改性处理剂提高所述地层相比于水对油/气的相对渗透性,因此防止水储存在所述地层表面之后;
(i)井为逆行凝析气储层和表面改性处理剂最小化所述储层内的凝析同时维持所述储层的渗透性;
(j)井为气井或油井和表面改性处理剂在完成井处理操作之后增加来自井的产出水和回流水的量;
(k)表面改性处理剂在前置流体内;
(l)表面改性处理剂在井处理流体内和井处理流体在足以产生或扩大所述地下地层中的裂缝的压力下泵入井中;
(m)表面改性处理剂分散在井处理流体中;
(n)表面改性处理剂控制所述地下地层的近井眼区域的孔中的水凝析;
(o)所述地层为焦油砂地层和表面改性处理剂强化来自焦油砂内的沉积物的烃采收;
(p)所述地下地层经受酸化和表面改性处理剂增加酸向所述地层中的渗透;或
(q)所述地下地层为基质地层和表面改性处理剂减少水向所述地层中的流入。
20.权利要求1的方法,进一步包括从井中产出烃并且在产出烃的过程中减少摩擦阻力。
21.权利要求20的方法,其中流体在用表面改性处理剂处理的基材的表面上的滑动角小于流体在基本上相似的未处理基材的表面上的滑动角。
22.权利要求1的方法,其中在井中泵入表面改性处理剂之前,通过在井中泵入无水流体从而减少硅质或包含金属(M)氧化物的地下地层的表面上的饱和水。

(b)通过尾部的自对准形成单层或多层组装从而使表面改性处理剂结合至所述地下地层的表面上;
其中在步骤(a)之前,通过用无水流体预处理所述地下地层从而增加表面改性处理剂结合至所述地下地层表面的位点数量。
