Abstract

本发明实施例提供一种接入点配置方法和控制器,涉及通信领域,能够有效配置新增接入点,满足用户的容量和覆盖的需求,从而提高网络性能,降低维护成本。其方法为:接收控制器下的已有接入点发送的负载统计报告,根据负载统计报告确定第一集合,并根据第一集合中的接入点的数量和已有接入点数量确定新增接入点的配置方法,通过配置方法确定新增接入点的配置信息,配置信息包括新增接入点的数量、位置信息、工作模式、工作信道和发射功率,将配置信息下发至新增接入点。本发明实施例用于为新增接入点配置信息。
