In the method, when the water flow is too large and the water pumping speed of the water pump is insufficient during bathing, part of the bathing water can be drained into the sewer pipe through the overflow port so as to avoid overflowing.

Example 1
An intelligent bathroom water saving device, as shown in figure 1, comprises a water saving floor drain 3, a self-priming water pump 2 and a water storage tank 1 which are connected in sequence through pipelines;
the water-saving device also comprises an automatic control system which is composed of a control switch 5 positioned on the wall of the bathroom, a liquid level controller 33 electrically connected with the control switch, a lower water level sensing element 32 and an electromagnetic valve 34 which are electrically connected with the liquid level controller and positioned in the water-saving floor drain, and upper and lower water level sensing elements 12 and 13 positioned in the water storage tank. The liquid level controller controls the starting/stopping of the self-priming water pump and the opening/closing of the electromagnetic valve through signals transmitted by the water level sensing element.
The water-saving floor drain comprises a water collecting area 35 and a floor drain area 36, a partition plate is arranged between the two areas, and the water collecting area is connected with the self-suction water pump through a pipeline; the water collecting area is a cuboid device, the top of the water collecting area is a detachable grid 37 with a filter screen, as shown in fig. 2, the upper part of the side wall is provided with an overflow port 31 connected with a sewer pipe, the lower part of the side wall is provided with a water level sensing element 32, the distance from the bottom of the water level sensing element is 1/10 of the height of the water level sensing element, so that the loss of the water pump caused by water absorption idling of the water pump is reduced; the floor drain area is of a conventional floor drain structure, the top of the floor drain area is provided with a closed detachable sealing cover 38, and the joint of the floor drain area and a sewer pipe is provided with an electromagnetic valve 34. The length, width and height of the water collecting area are 400mm multiplied by 80mm multiplied by 100 mm; the length, width and height of the floor drain region are 100mm multiplied by 80mm multiplied by 100 mm. The shower water collection amount can be improved to the maximum extent by reasonably setting the size of the water-saving floor drain.
The self-suction water pump is arranged at the top of the water storage tank and is connected with the water storage tank through a pipeline; the top of the side wall of the water storage tank is provided with an overflow port 11, and the bottom of the side wall is provided with a water outlet 15 and a drain outlet 14 which are connected with a toilet water tank. The upper water level sensing element in the water storage tank is 20mm away from the top of the water storage tank, and the lower water level sensing element is 30mm away from the bottom of the water storage tank and is higher than the water outlet, so that the flushing water supply amount of the closestool can be ensured to the maximum extent, and the optimal water saving purpose is achieved; the length, width and height of the water storage tank are 1000mm multiplied by 350 mm. By reasonably setting the sizes of the floor drain and the water storage tank and the position relation of the water level sensing element, the water collecting and saving efficiency can be effectively improved.
Wherein, the pipeline inlets of the water-saving floor drain and the self-priming water pump are provided with filter materials, such as gauze and the like; a funnel-shaped filter screen is arranged in a connecting pipeline between the water storage tank and the toilet water tank, and filtering materials such as active carbon and the like are filled in the funnel-shaped filter screen.

(2) detecting the liquid level of the water storage tank, and if the liquid level reaches the lower water level, further detecting whether the liquid level reaches the upper water level; if the water reaches the upper water level, the electromagnetic valve is opened by the liquid level controller, and the shower water directly flows into the sewer pipe from the floor drain area of the water-saving floor drain; if not, further detecting whether the liquid level of the water collecting area in the water-saving floor drain reaches a lower water level;
(3) if the liquid level of the water collecting area in the water-saving floor drain reaches the lower water level, the self-suction type water pump is started by the liquid level controller to suck water, and meanwhile, whether the liquid level in the water storage tank reaches the upper water level is detected;
(4) if the liquid level of the water storage tank does not reach the lower water level, detecting whether the liquid level of a water collecting area in the water-saving floor drain reaches the lower water level; if the water level reaches the lower water level, executing the step (3); if the water level does not reach the lower water level, the electromagnetic valve is closed by the liquid level controller to collect the shower water.
When the shower head is used, when the water flow is too large during bathing and the water pumping speed of the water pump is insufficient, part of the bathing water can be drained into the sewer pipe through the overflow port so as to avoid overflowing.

the water-saving floor drain comprises a water collecting area and a floor drain area, wherein a partition plate is arranged between the water collecting area and the floor drain area;
the water collecting area is connected with the self-suction water pump through a pipeline; an overflow pipe connected with a sewer pipe is arranged at the upper part of the side wall of the water collecting area, and a water level sensing element is arranged at the lower part of the side wall; the water collecting area is a cuboid device, the top of the water collecting area is a detachable grid with a filter screen, the upper part of the side wall is provided with an overflow pipe connected with a sewer pipe, and the lower part of the side wall is provided with a water level sensing element;
the top of the floor drain area is provided with a closed detachable sealing cover, and the joint of the floor drain area and the sewer pipe is provided with an electromagnetic valve.
