为了从地壳中回收以石油和天然气为代表的烃资源(以下,有时会代表性地将其称为“石油”),会设置钻井(地下挖掘坑),但用来形成或修补该钻井的平塞(分解性塞)、桥塞、水泥承留器、射孔枪、封堵球、封堵塞、栓塞等工具(以下统称为“钻井工具”)在使用后不回收到地上,经常会通过在钻井中使其崩解或脱落的方式来处置(这种钻井工具或其使用方式的例示,例如可参阅专利文献1~5)。因此,关于这种一次性使用的工具,推荐利用分解性聚合物来形成构成该工具整体或用来促进崩解的结合部的构件(钻井工具用构件)。作为这种分解性聚合物之例,可列举淀粉或糊精等多糖类;壳多糖、壳聚糖等动物性蛋白聚合物;聚乳酸(PLA,代表物为聚L-乳酸(PLLA))、聚乙醇酸(PGA)、聚酪酸、聚吉草酸等脂肪族聚酯;以及聚氨基酸、聚氧化乙烯等(专利文献1和2)。但是,使用这些分解性聚合物来设计至钻井工具用构件崩解为止的强度及时间的技术尚不完善。因为难以控制分解性聚合物的分解行为。

发明概要
发明拟解决的问题
鉴于上述传统技术状况,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种钻井工具用构件,其通过适当选择分解性聚合物组成并加以成形,可更精确地设计崩解特性。
发明内容
本发明的烃资源回收钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,由配混了无机或有机短纤维增强材料的聚乙醇酸树脂成形体构成,保持在120℃水中时,初始厚度减少速度(保持4小时的平均值)为聚乙醇酸树脂单独成形体初始厚度减少速度的0.8倍以下,当厚度减至初始厚度的50%以下后,晚期厚度减少速度为初始厚度减少速度的1.5倍以上。
在此,对本发明人等按上述目的进行研究并完成本发明的经过进行一些补充说明。根据本发明人等的研究,脂肪族聚酯树脂通常在形成钻井工具用构件时,大多会显示出适当的水中分解性,但其中的聚乙醇酸(PGA),与作为脂肪族聚酯代表例的聚乳酸(PLLA)进行对比后,如图1(在149℃水中的厚度减少数据)所示,显示出与其他脂肪族聚酯树脂显著不同的水中分解特性。更具体而言,由于其优异的水(蒸汽)阻隔性,所以在水中的厚度减少速度显示出相对于时间固定的特性(即,线性厚度减少速度)。因此,根据该钻井工具用构件至崩解为止的维持时间,设定有助于维持该构件强度和满足塞子或密封件等方面要求特性的有效厚度,由此可对强度及保持时间进行设计。基于该见解,本发明人等已提出过一种烃资源回收钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,由重均分子量为7万以上的聚乙醇酸树脂成形体构成,且在水中的厚度减少速度相对于时间为固定,所述成形体的有效厚度为表面分解临界厚度的1/2以上(专利申请2012-130055号)。然而,钻井工具用构件有几种样式,其相应所需的崩解特性也不同,因此上述聚乙醇酸树脂所具有的线性厚度减少特性虽然对崩解时间的设计非常有用,但有时也会希望降低崩解速度。尤其密封用途中,还经常会希望能够在一定作业时间内抑制钻井工具用构件变形,并在作业结束后令其快速崩解。本发明人等通过进一步研究发现,关于在聚乙醇酸树脂中配混无机或有机短纤维增强材料后获得的成形体,其不仅能够单纯提高强度,使水中的厚度减少速度在初始时获得非常有效的抑制,而且当厚度减至一定数值以上后,晚期厚度减少速度会急剧增加,进而,通过所使用的短纤维增强材料的纵横比(L/D),可控制初始厚度减少速度的抑制期间。本发明的烃资源回收钻井工具用构件,即基于此见解而获得。

具体实施方式
以下,根据优选实施方式,对本发明进行详细说明。
(聚乙醇酸树脂)
本发明的钻井工具用构件,由配混了无机或有机短纤维增强材料的聚乙醇酸树脂成形体构成。聚乙醇酸树脂在热塑性树脂中压缩强度最高,其初始强度优异,此外,配混短纤维增强材料后,在水中的厚度减少速度抑制效果也很大,因此尤其优选使用。作为聚乙醇酸树脂(PGA树脂),除了作为重复单元仅由乙醇酸单元(-OCH2-CO-)构成的乙醇酸单聚物(即聚乙醇酸(PGA)),还包括乙醇酸共聚物,该乙醇酸共聚物含有50重量%以下、优选为30重量%以下、更优选为10重量%以下比例的其他单体(共聚单体)单元、优选为乳酸等羧基羧酸单元。通过采用含有其他单体单元的共聚物,可在一定程度上调整聚乙醇酸树脂的水解速度、以及结晶性等。
作为聚乙醇酸树脂,使用重均分子量为7万以上、优选为10万~50万的聚乙醇酸树脂。重均分子量不足7万时,工具用构件所需的初始强度特性将受损。另一方面,重均分子量超过50万时,成型加工性变差,因此并非优选。
为获得这种分子量的聚乙醇酸树脂,优选采用以下方法:与乙醇酸的聚合相比,在存在少量催化剂(例如有机羧酸锡、卤化锡、卤化锑等的阳离子催化剂)且实质上不存在溶剂(即块状聚合条件)的情况下,将乙醇酸的二聚物即乙交酯加热至约120~250℃温度,使其开环聚合。因此,形成共聚物时,作为共聚单体,优选使用例如以乳酸的二聚物即丙交酯为代表的丙交酯类、以及内酯类(例如己内酯、β-丙内酯、β-丁内酯)中的1种以上。
另外,聚乙醇酸树脂(PGA树脂)的熔点(Tm)一般为200℃以上。例如,聚乙醇酸(PGA)的熔点约为220℃,玻璃转化温度约为38℃,结晶温度约为90℃。但是,这些聚乙醇酸树脂的熔点会因聚乙醇酸树脂的分子量及所使用的共聚单体种类等发生若干变动。
作为形成本发明的钻井工具用构件的基体树脂,通常单独使用聚乙醇酸树脂,但为了控制其分解性等,也可配混其他脂肪族聚酯、芳香族聚酯、以及弹性体等其他热塑性树脂。但是,其添加量为不影响聚乙醇酸树脂作为基体树脂存在的量,更具体而言,应控制在不足30重量%,优选为不足20重量%,更优选为不足10重量%。
(短纤维增强材料)
本发明的钻井工具用构件,由配混了短纤维增强材料的脂肪族聚酯树脂进行成形而获得。作为短纤维增强材料,为了提供适合熔融成形的组合物,在玻璃纤维、碳纤维、硼纤维、芳族聚酰胺纤维、液晶聚合物纤维、以及纤维素纤维(槿麻纤维)等无机或有机纤维增强材料中,可优选使用短径(D)为0.1~1000μm、更优选为1~100μm、尤其优选为5~20μm,纵横比(L/D)为2~1000,更优选为3~300,尤其优选为3~150,通常称作磨碎纤维或短切纤维的增强材料。短径(D)不足0.1μm时,无法呈现用于延缓崩解的充足强度,短径超过1000μm时,将丧失成形品崩解行为的均衡性。纵横比(L/D)不足2时,无法获得延缓崩解的效果,超过1000时,难以通过熔融混炼使短纤维增强材料均匀分散。
根据本发明人等的见解,已确认在上述范围内,纵横比(L/D)增大后,厚度减少速度的初始抑制期间趋于增大(下述实例1~3及图5),由此,能够在一定程度上控制厚度减少速度的初始抑制期间进行增减。
关于配混短纤维增强材料后带来的聚乙醇酸樹脂成形体的厚度减少速度抑制効果,虽然通过将短纤维增强材料直接配混到聚乙醇酸樹脂中也能呈现,但为了提高短纤维增强材料的操作性和提高所获钻井工具用构件の机械强度,也优选例如由环氧树脂、聚氨酯树脂、丙烯酸类树脂、硅烷偶合剂、以及乙酸乙烯酯树脂等接合剂之一种或二种以上之中选择的接合剂进行接合之后再使用。(其中,接合的效果是,在短纤维增强材料配混到聚乙醇酸树脂中时,通过提高其分散性,将有助于提高聚乙醇酸树脂成形体的特性,所获得的聚乙醇酸树脂成形体中,它们几乎是作为单个的短纤维增强材料得以分散,这可在显微镜观察中获得确认。因此,对于会给短纤维增强材料的配混效果带来影响的纵横比(L/D),作为其决定性的短径D,是采用单个短纤维增强材料的值。)其中,考虑到提高强度效果、以及保持矩阵聚乙醇酸树脂分子量效果的观点,优选使用环氧树脂接合剂单体、或者与其他接合剂的混合物。作为尤其优选的组合例,可列举玻璃纤维与环氧树脂接合剂、或者碳纤维与环氧树脂接合剂的组合。使用接合剂时,优选为接合的短纤维增强材料全体的0.1-10.0重量%,更优选为0.3-5.0重量%。
相对于由聚乙醇酸树脂构成的基体树脂100重量份,短纤维增强材料的配混比例为1~50重量份,更优选为5~45重量份,尤其优选为10~40重量份。不足1重量份时,无法呈现用于延缓崩解的充足强度,超过50重量份时,可能会难以通过熔融混炼使短纤维增强材料均匀分散。现已确认在上述范围内,增大短纤维增强材料配混量后,厚度减少速度的初始抑制期间趋于增大,因此通过与上述纵横比进行组合,能够控制厚度减少速度的初始抑制期间进行增减。
更具体而言,通过控制上述范围内的以聚乙醇酸树脂为主成分的基体树脂组成,以及所配混强化纤维材料的短径、纵横比、配混量等,本发明的钻井工具用构件将获得以下厚度减少特性:保持在120℃水中时,初始厚度减少速度为聚乙醇酸树脂单独成形体初始厚度减少速度的0.8倍以下、优选为0.5倍以下、尤其优选为0.3倍以下,晚期厚度减少速度为初始厚度减少速度的1.5倍以上、优选为4.0倍以上、尤其优选为8.0倍以上,厚度减少速度的初始抑制期间优选为1小时(h)以上、更优选为3小时以上、进一步优选为5小时以上。但是,上述特性值是以120℃水中浸透条件为基准的值,由于不同温度等实际作业环境条件的变化,可能会造成数值大幅变化。
此外,聚乙醇酸树脂中除了上述短纤维增强材料,在不违反本发明目的的范围内,还可根据需要,添加热稳定剂、光稳定剂、可塑剂、防湿剂、防水剂、拔水剂、润滑剂、分解促进剂、以及分解延缓剂等各种添加剂。
优选对上述配混了无机或有机短纤维增强材料的聚乙醇酸树脂(以及根据需要添加的其他任意成分)实施注塑成形、熔融挤出成形、固化挤出成形、压缩成形、以及离心成形等惯用的热成形法,并根据需要实施切削加工,由此形成如上述专利文献1~5等中例示的平塞、桥塞、水泥承留器、射孔枪、封堵球、封堵塞、以及栓塞等构成各种钻井工具整体或其一部分的构件形状。
(有效厚度)
构成钻井工具用构件的、配混了无机或有机短纤维增强材料的脂肪族聚酯树脂成形体的有效厚度,其定义为:至该工具构件的要求特性(例如,用作结合构件时的结合强度特性、其本身用作塞子或密封器时的其填塞或密封功能)消失为止容许的减少厚度。
仅工具构件的主面暴露在作业环境水性介质中时(例如两个主表面中的一面与非分解性构件接合时、以及属于球状构件时等),只要根据该面的厚度(或半径),规定有效厚度及减少速度即可。
工具构件成形体的有效厚度,可能会因工具构件的形状及使用状态等发生大幅变化,一般在1~1000mm,尤其在2~500mm范围内进行选择。
本发明的钻井工具用构件按照用来形成、修补或扩大钻井工具等作业的有效厚度而形成,设计为例如在20~180℃规定温度作业环境水性介质中,在使用规定时间后能够自然崩解,但也可根据需要,为了在作业结束后促进其崩解,例如通过注入加热蒸汽等、或者通过降低地层压裂用作业水等的供给量来提高周围环境温度,促进其崩解。
实施例
以下,基于实例及比较例,进一步具体说明本发明。包括下例在内,本说明书中记载的特性值是以下述方法获得的测量值为基准。
<重均分子量(Mw)>
聚乙醇酸(PGA)及聚乳酸(PLA)的重均分子量(Mw),是将各10mg试料溶解到溶解了5mM浓度三氟乙酸钠的六氟异丙醇(HFIP)中,配制成10ml后,用膜滤器进行过滤,获得试料溶液。将该试料溶液10μl注入凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)装置,按下述条件测量分子量。另外,试料溶液在溶解后,于30分钟以内注入GPC装置。

色谱柱:昭和电工株式会社制,HFIP-806M 2根(串联)+预柱HFIP-LG 1根
色谱柱温度:40℃
洗脱液:溶解了5mM浓度三氟乙酸钠的HFIP溶液
流速:1mL/分钟
检测器:差示折射仪
分子量校正:使用由5种不同分子量的标准分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(POLYMER LABORATORIES Ltd.制)制成的分子量校准曲线数据。
<短纤维增强材料的短径(D)及纵横比(L/D)>
关于纵横比(L/D),是在下述实例等的混合作业中,为了仅除去混合作业中形成的颗粒树脂,将易切断的玻璃纤维及碳纤维在700℃下进行灰化处理,仅获得纤维。对所获纤维拍摄100个视野的电子显微镜照片,求得纤维的数均单径及长度。所获平均长度(L)除以平均短径(D),作为成型片中的纵横比(L/D)。混合作业中,难切断的其他短纤维(磨碎纤维及芳族聚酰胺纤维)的短径(D)及纵横比(L/D),是直接使用制造商对使用前的纤维所赋予的名目值。
<减少厚度的测量>
(成型片的制作)
关于下述实例及比较例的树脂(组合物)的颗粒化试料,是如下形成通过水中浸透制作的厚度减少速度测量试验用成型片。
首先,使用长、宽5cm且深5mm的不锈钢模框,通过颗粒化试料的冲压成型,制成厚5mm的树脂片。冲压条件为260℃预热4分钟,5MPa下加压2分钟,并在冲压后利用水冷却板进行急冷。其次,将制成的多枚薄片进行重叠,通过冲压成型制成规定厚度(12mm或23mm)的成型片。冲压条件为260℃预热7分钟,5MPa下加压3分钟,并在冲压后利用水冷却板进行急冷。将制成的成型片在烘箱中120℃热处理1小时,使其结晶化后,用于试验。
(水中分解试验)
在1L高压蒸汽灭菌器中放入1个如上所述获得的树脂成型片,加满去离子水后,按规定温度和时间进行浸透试验。接着,取出浸透后的成型片,切出其截面,在干燥室放置一晚,使其干燥。测量其芯部(较硬部分)厚度,根据其与最初厚度之差,测量减少厚度。利用多个成型片,基于在一定温度下根据不同浸透时间测量的减少厚度测量值,求得减少厚度的经时变化。例如,利用下述实例1中获得的PGA/GF(玻璃纤维)(=70/30)复合颗粒、以及比较例1的PGA单独颗粒,如上所述制成成型片,在120℃、80℃及60℃水中进行分解试验,分别获得的减少厚度经时变化如图2~图4所示。
<初始厚度减少速度>
例如,参照表示120℃水中分解试验结果的图2,与黑圆圈所示的PGA单独成型片初始厚度减少速度(最初4小时的平均值)(=0.36mm/h,单面基准)相比,白圆圈所示的PGA/GF复合成型片初始厚度减少速度(=0.04mm/h)约为0.11倍,因此可确认配混GF后,显著抑制了初始厚度减少速度。
<晚期厚度减少速度>
此外,参照图2,浸透水中约36小时后,试验片仍为可测量厚度的固体状态,厚度减少速度的线性特征也好,因此可认为厚度减少速度的抑制期间一直持续至该时间点。因此能够设想,关于晚期厚度减少速度(单面),其大于以下数值:通过用该时间点残留厚度t(约11.0mm)之1/2、除以直至最终无法确认固体片残存的X(约48小时)为止的经过时间(X-36=Y=12h)而获得的(t/Y)=11/2/12=0.46mm/h,并通过算出的晚期厚度减少速度/初始厚度减少速度=0.46/0.4=11.5≥1.5,可知满足了本发明要求。
以下,记述用于进行上述水中分解试验而调制的各种颗粒制作例。〔实例1〕
<混合作业条件>
将PGA单体(重均分子量20万,KUREHA株式会社制)、以及聚氨酯树脂和环氧树脂混合物接合而成的玻璃纤维(GF)(Owens Corning公司制GL-HF,短径10μm,纤维长3mm)用供给装置以重量比70/30供给至双螺杆挤出机(东洋精机制作所制2D25S),再用全螺线螺杆在挤出温度250℃下挤出后,供给至造粒机,制成颗粒(直径:约3mm,长度:约3mm)。从而获得含纵横比33之GF短纤维的复合颗粒。测量复合颗粒的分子量,为18万。
〔实例2〕
除了改变双螺杆挤出机的螺杆结构,并施加剪切力进行混炼后挤出,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。颗粒中的GF短纤维的纵横比为18。
〔实例3〕
除了作为玻璃纤维(GF),使用磨碎玻璃纤维(CENTRAL GLASS公司制EFH50-31,短径11μm,平均长度50μm),其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。GF短纤维的纵横比通过制造商的名目值进行计算,为4。
〔实例4〕
除了PGA和玻璃纤维的重量比采用90/10,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。
〔实例5〕
除了作为玻璃纤维,使用实例3中所用的磨碎玻璃纤维,且重量比采用90/10,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。
〔实例6〕
除了将碳纤维(日本高分子产业公司制CFEPU-HC,短径6μm,长度3mm)用作强化材料,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。碳纤维的纵横比为32。
〔实例7〕
除了将芳族聚酰胺纤维(帝人公司制TECHNORA,短径12μm,长度3mm)用作强化材料,其他均与实例1同样。纵横比通过制造商的名目值进行计算,为250。
〔实例8〕
除了将环氧树脂接合而成的玻璃纤维(GF)(OWENS CORNING公司制03JAFT592S,短径10μm,纤维长度3mm)用作强化材料,其他均与实例1同样。从而获得含纵横比35之GF短纤维的复合颗粒。测量复合颗粒的分子量,为20万。
〔实例9〕
除了将聚氨酯树脂接合而成的玻璃纤维(GF)(OWENS CORNING公司制03JAFT692S,短径10μm,纤维长度3mm)用作强化材料,其他均与实例1同样。从而获得含纵横比32之GF短纤维的复合颗粒。测量复合颗粒的分子量,为17万。
〔比较例1〕
不配混强化材料,直接使用实例1中所用的PGA颗粒。
〔比较例2〕
除了将滑石粉用作强化材料,且重量比采用50/50,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。
〔比较例3〕
除了将硅砂用作强化材料,且重量比采用50/50,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。
〔比较例4〕
除了将结晶性聚乳酸(PLLA,Nature Works制4032D,重均分子量26万,融点170℃)用作基材,其他均与实例1同样,制成颗粒。
〔比较例5〕
不配混强化材料,直接使用比较例4中所用的PLLA颗粒。
<水中分解试验>
使用上述实例及比较例中获得的颗粒,根据所述方法,在120℃水中进行分解试验,并测量厚度减少速度,其结果一并如下表1所示。

此外,针对实例1及比较例1的颗粒成型片,除了120℃水中分解试验,还在80℃及60℃水中进行分解试验。所获得的厚度经时变化测量数据分别如图2~图4所示。
进而,针对含有和实例1不同纵横比之玻璃纤维的实例2、3的颗粒,也同样在120℃水中进行分解试验,测量厚度经时变化。其结果和实例1的结果一并如图5所示。可以得知,虽然同为使用玻璃纤维的成形体,但由于纵横比不同,初始厚度减少速度的抑制期间将显著不同。此外,根据表1中比较例4和实例1的对比,可关注到,本发明的钻井工具用构件所具有的、通过配混强化纤维获得的厚度降低速度抑制效果,在使用PLLA树脂替代PGA树脂作为基体树脂的比较例4中,实质上无法获得。
工业实用性
如上所述,根据本发明,将提供一种钻井工具用构件,其适合作为形成用来形成或修补用于回收以石油和天然气为代表的烃资源的钻井的工具本身或其一部分的构件(钻井工具用构件),尤其作为密封材料,其可抑制初始崩解,并在晚期快速崩解。
Claims (7)
1.一种烃资源回收钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,由配混了无机或有机短纤维增强材料的聚乙醇酸树脂成形体构成,保持在120℃水中时,初始厚度减少速度(保持4小时的平均值)为聚乙醇酸树脂单独成形体初始厚度减少速度的0.8倍以下,当厚度减至初始厚度的50%以下后,晚期厚度减少速度为初始厚度减少速度的1.5倍以上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,初始厚度减少速度为聚乙醇酸树脂单独成形体初始厚度减少速度的0.3倍以下,晚期厚度减少速度为初始厚度减少速度的8.0倍以上。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,短纤维增强材料的短径(D)为0.1~1000μm、纵横比(L/D)为2~1000。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,短纤维增强材料由玻璃纤维、碳纤维、或者芳族聚酰胺纤维构成。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,短纤维增强材料是通过接合剂进行接合的短纤维增强材料。
6.根据权利要求5所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,接合剂包括环氧树脂接合剂。
7.根据权利要求6所述的钻井工具用构件,其特征在于,短纤维增强材料是由环氧树脂接合剂接合的玻璃纤维或碳纤维构成。
