Abstract

本发明公开一种显示模块,包括显示面板(211)及盖板(212),显示面板(211)具有黑色挡框(2113),黑色挡框(2113)在显示面板(211)上围出一显示区,盖板(212)盖设于显示面板(211)之上,且盖板(212)的侧端部位于黑色挡框(2113)之上,其中,显示模块还包括可视区拓展元件,可视区拓展元件设置在盖板(212)的侧端部与黑色挡框(2113)之间。本发明还公开一种具有该显示模块的显示装置。在本发明中,通过在显示面板周围的黑色挡框上形成明亮区,且该明亮区与显示区衔接为一体,形成一体的画面,从而使观看者在视觉上感受到显示装置的边框被缩窄,屏幕可视区得到拓展。

Description

显示模块及具有该显示模块的显示装置
技术领域
本发明属于显示技术领域,具体地讲,涉及一种显示模块及具有该显示模块的显示装置。
背景技术
目前,在智能移动电话、平板电脑(Pad)等产品的设计中,随着对这类产品的品质要求的不断提高,具有窄边框、高屏占比等特点的显示模块成为了这类产品设计的主流方向之一。
图1是现有的一种显示装置的侧视剖切图。参照图1,其提供的显示装置包括显示模块110、与显示模块110相对设置的背光模块120以及将显示模块110和背光模块120固定组合在一起的外框130。显示模块110包括显示面板111及盖板112,其中,该显示面板111具有黑色挡框113,该黑色挡框113在该显示面板111上围出一显示区,该盖板112盖设于该显示面板111之上,且该盖板112的侧端部位于该黑色挡框113上。由图1可知,在现有的显示模块的设计中,在显示面板上围出显示区的黑色挡框是必不可少的,但由于该黑色挡框的存在,会使显示模块的边框宽度增加,且使得显示模块的屏占比减小。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术存在的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种显示模块,包括显示面板及盖板,所述显示面板具有黑色挡框,所述黑色挡框在所述显示面板上围出一显示区,所述盖板盖设于所述显示面板之上,且所述盖板的侧端部位于所述黑色挡框之上,其中,所述显示模块还包括可视区拓展元件,所述可视区拓展元件设置在所述盖板的侧端部与所述黑色挡框之间。
进一步地,所述可视区拓展元件紧邻所述显示区。
进一步地,所述盖板的侧端部设置有装配槽,所述装配槽的形状与所述可视区拓展元件的形状相匹配,所述可视区拓展元件装配在所述装配槽中。
进一步地,所述可视区拓展元件为截面形状为三角形的棱镜。
进一步地,所述可视区拓展元件为截面形状为矩形的发光体。
进一步地,所述盖板的侧端部设置有装配槽,所述装配槽的截面形状为三角形,所述截面形状为三角形的棱镜装配在所述装配槽中。
进一步地,所述盖板的侧端部设置有装配槽,所述装配槽的截面形状为矩形,所述截面形状为矩形的发光体装配在所述装配槽中。
本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种显示装置,包括上述的显示模块及与上述的显示模块相对设置的背光模块,所述背光模块提供显示光源给上述的显示模块。
本发明的显示模块及具有该显示模块的显示装置,通过在显示面板周围的黑色挡框上形成明亮区,且该明亮区与显示区衔接为一体,形成一体的画面,从而使观看者在视觉上感受到显示装置的边框被缩窄,屏幕可视区得到拓展。

具体实施方式
以下,将参照附图来详细描述本发明的实施例。然而,可以以许多不同的形式来实施本发明,并且本发明不应该被解释为限制于这里阐述的具体实施例。相反,提供这些实施例是为了解释本发明的原理及其实际应用,从而使本领域的其他技术人员能够理解本发明的各种实施例和适合于特定预期应用的各种修改。
图2是根据本发明的实施例的显示装置的侧视剖切图。
参照图2,根据本发明的实施例的显示装置包括:显示模块210、背光模块220及外框230。显示模块210设置于背光模块220之上,外框230设置于显示模块210和背光模块220的***,且外框230将显示模块210和背光模块220固定在一起。
在根据本发明的实施例中,背光模块220可包括光源(诸如发光二极管)、导光板、背板等部件。然而,根据本发明的实施例的背光模块220的具体结构可参照现有技术中的背光模块的具体结构,因此,在这里将不再对根据本发明的实施例的背光模块220的具体结构作详细描述。
以下将对根据本发明的实施例的显示模块210进行详细描述。
根据本发明的实施例的显示模块210包括:显示面板211、盖板212及三棱镜213。
具体而言,显示面板211包括对盒设置的上基板2111和下基板2112,其中,下基板2112在宽度方向上的两侧及长度方向上的两侧均超出上基板2111。本发明的显示面板的结构并不以图1所示为限。显示面板211具有黑色挡框2113,其中,下基板2112超出上基板2111的侧端部用于承载黑色挡框2113。这样,从显示面板211整体上看,黑色挡框2113在显示面板211上围出一显示区。在根据本发明的实施例中,该显示区与上基板2111重合,但本发明不限制于此。
为了保护显示面板211,盖板212盖设于显示面板211之上,且盖板212的侧端部位于黑色挡框2113之上。在根据本发明的实施例中,盖板212可由透明的玻璃材料形成。
在根据本发明的实施例中,截面呈三角形的三棱镜213作为一种可视区拓展元件而设置于盖板212的侧端部与黑色挡框2113之间。优选的,三棱镜213紧邻显示区,即三棱镜213紧邻上基板2111。值得一提的是,这里的“紧邻”指的是三棱镜213的一侧与上基板2111的一侧相抵接,或者三棱镜213的一侧与上基板2111的一侧之间具有极小的距离,该极小的距离保证使用者在观看显示装置时不会看到黑边的存在。
固定三棱镜213的方式具体为:盖板212的侧端部设置有装配槽2121,其中,该装配槽2121的形状与三棱镜213的形状匹配,即该装配槽2121的截面形状也为与三棱镜213的截面形状相同的三角形。三棱镜213装配于对应的装配槽2121中,从而完成三棱镜213的固定。
这样,当显示面板211进行显示时,显示面板211发出的光照射到三棱镜213上,三棱镜213将光线向上(即朝向观看者的方向)折射,且其折射出的光线形成的明亮区与显示区衔接为一体,形成一体的画面,从而使观看者在视觉上感受到显示装置的边框被缩窄,屏幕可视区得到拓展。
图3是根据本发明的另一实施例的显示装置的侧视剖切图。
在对图3所示的显示装置的描述中,与图2所示的显示装置相同之处在此不再赘述,仅描述与图2所示的显示装置不同之处。参照图3,其示出的根据本发明的另一实施例的显示装置与图2所述的显示装置不同之处在于:利用截面呈矩形的发光体214作为另一种可视区拓展元件而设置于盖板212的侧端部与黑色挡框2113之间。
固定发光体214的方式具体为:盖板212的侧端部设置有装配槽2121,其中,该装配槽2121的形状与发光体214的形状匹配,即该装配槽2121的截面形状也为与棱镜214的截面形状相同的矩形。发光体214装配于对应的装配槽2121中,从而完成发光体214的固定。在根据本发明的另一实施例中,发光体214可例如是发光二极管,但本发明并不限制于此。
这样,当显示面板211进行显示时,发光体214也产生光线,且其产生的光线形成的明亮区与显示区衔接为一体,形成一体的画面,从而使观看者在视觉上感受到显示装置的边框被缩窄,屏幕可视区得到拓展。
应当说明的是,本发明的可视区拓展元件并不以图2所示的三棱镜213和图3所示的发光体214为限,其可为任何其他合适的能够将显示面板发出的光线进行拓展的光学元件。
虽然已经参照特定实施例示出并描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解:在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种变化。

Claims (2)

1.一种显示模块,包括显示面板(211)及盖板(212),所述显示面板(211)具有黑色挡框(2113),所述黑色挡框(2113)在所述显示面板(211)上围出一显示区,所述盖板(212)盖设于所述显示面板(211)之上,且所述盖板(212)的侧端部位于所述黑色挡框(2113)之上,其特征在于,所述黑色挡框(2113)承载在所述显示面板(211)的下基板(2112)超出上基板(2111)的侧端部;所述显示模块还包括可视区拓展元件,所述可视区拓展元件设置在所述盖板(212)的侧端部与所述黑色挡框(2113)之间;所述可视区拓展元件为截面形状为矩形的发光体(214),紧邻所述显示区;所述盖板(212)的侧端部设置有截面形状为矩形的装配槽(2121),所述可视区拓展元件装配在所述装配槽(2121)中。
2.一种显示装置,包括显示模块(210)及与所述显示模块(210)相对设置的背光模块(220),所述背光模块(220)提供显示光源给所述显示模块(210),其特征在于,所述显示模块(210)为权利要求1所述的显示模块。
