Abstract

本发明的薄材切断装置中新型螺旋轴支承构造,在任何位置都能吸收因环境温度变化而引起的螺旋轴伸展。螺旋轴2被轴套10及被机架端部1a的支承处,由于受热引起螺旋轴伸展被吸收。支承旋转刀4的支承台3的待机位置处于A位置时,由于热膨胀引起螺旋轴2的伸展将被由螺旋轴轴肩与机架端部1a之间所形成的间隙S2吸收,处于位置B时,由于热膨胀引起的伸展将被由螺旋轴轴肩与轴套之间所形成的间隙S1吸收。

Description

薄材切断装置
本发明涉及一种由圆形旋转刀和长的固定刀协调动作而将薄材切断的薄材切断装置。
在ECR、POS终端机等打印装置上,将卷成滚筒状的记录纸抽出打字之后用切断装置切下所用的部分,作为单页来发出。
象这样的记录纸切断装置虽然有各种类型,但最近为克服旋转式切断装置制造成本高、嗓音比较大的缺点,作为纸张等带状薄材切断装置之一,由一边旋转一边移动的圆形旋转刀和长固定刀组合形成的切断装置,已被利用起来(例如:参阅日本专利公报特公昭50-24466号)。
参照图3~图5说明这种切断装置,图3是薄材切断装置平面图,图4是薄材切断装置侧视图,图5是薄材切断装置的平面断面图。
在图3~图5上,附图标记51是切断装置的主体机架,52是螺旋轴,51a是机架端部,上述螺旋轴52如图5所示,一端通过轴套60被主体机架51支承,另一端通过轴套60被机架端部51a支承。螺旋轴52的一端通过螺钉62,另一端通过皮带轮61被安装在主体机架上。皮带轮61通过止动环63被安装在螺旋轴52上。53是在上述螺旋轴52上通过螺旋连接方式而设置的支承台。在上述支承台53上,旋转刀54通过轴54a保持回转自如。另外固定刀55被螺钉56固定在上述主体机架51上。
上述皮带轮61通过图3所示的传动机构58和电机57相连结。在上述装置上,电机57旋转,通过传动机构58、皮带轮61,螺旋轴52自身就旋转起来。上述螺旋轴52一旋转,设置在螺旋轴52上的支承台53,从图5所示的A位置到B位置,在左右方向上往复运动于螺旋轴上。这一结果是,当支承台往复运动时,由于旋转刀54和固定刀55的协调工作,把在垂直于图3、图5的纸面送过来的薄材切断。
可是,上述切断装置没有考虑由热膨胀而引起的螺旋轴52的伸展,把螺旋轴两端用轴套60支承着,故应指出以下的问题。
最近,从小型化、轻量化方面考虑正在开发出在机架或螺旋轴等处使用了树脂的薄材切断装置,但在较多采用树脂的薄材切断装置中,一般来说用于主体机架51和螺旋轴52的材质因其各自应完成的功能有别而使用不同的材料。作为具体的例子,在主体机架上使用刚度比较高的玻璃纤维强化树脂,要求滑动特性的螺旋轴则使用聚缩醛树脂或滑动性能良好的聚丙烯树脂等。因此,如果切断装置被置于高温环境(60℃以上),在主体机架51和螺旋轴52之间,由于材质不同而产生出热膨胀量的差异,其结果出现的问题是当用船舶等运送上述切断装置时,船舱内的温度往往会达到60℃以上,由于这种原因螺旋轴52就会发生热膨胀而变形,此后将失去正常的功能。
另外,在以往的薄材切断装置中,当薄材是薄弱的纸张等时,由于刀刃磨损变钝,出现了因一边切断纸张一边倒退而切歪,或切断面有毛边等难以切规整的现象。
为了解决上述问题,本发明提出一种薄材切断装置,具有新型的螺旋轴支承结构,它能吸收因环境温度的变化而引起的螺旋轴伸展,即使在薄材是薄弱纸张等时也能很好地切断。
因此,本发明的一种薄材切断装置,具有在主体机架轴端支承的螺旋轴、在该螺旋轴上用螺旋连结的支承台、在该支承台上旋转自如地安装的旋转刀、在主体机架上固定的固定刀、使上述螺旋轴旋转的驱动机构,在由上述旋转刀和固定刀协调工作把薄材切断的切断装置中,其特征在于,上述螺旋轴在其两端回转自如,而且在轴向滑动自如地被主体机架支承,在螺旋轴与机架之间形成能吸收螺旋轴伸展的间隙,在螺旋轴受热伸展时,螺旋轴相对主体机架在上述间隙的范围内滑动,从而能吸收伸展。
在本薄材的切断装置上,螺旋轴被轴套支承处以及被机架端部支承处,无论何处由于螺旋轴的受热引起的伸展将如下述那样被吸收。
当支承旋转刀的支承台3的待机位置处于图1中的A位置时,即使由于热膨胀引起螺旋轴2伸展,该伸展将被间隙S2吸收,该间隙形成于螺旋轴轴肩和机架端部1a之间。
另外,当支承旋转刀4的支承台3的待机位置处于图1中的B位置时,即使由于热膨胀引起螺旋轴2伸展,该伸展将被间隙S1吸收,该间隙形成于螺旋轴轴肩和轴套之间。
另外,即使薄材是薄弱的纸张等时,本薄材切断装置因为由弹簧14能压紧薄材,所以可由旋转刀和固定刀5的协调工作而把薄材很好地切断。
以下参照附图来说明本发明的实施例。

再者,在本实施例的说明中,在和以往的例子相对应的构件上均采用不同的符号来说明。
在图1上,附图标记1是切断装置的主体机架,2是把两端支承在主体机架上的螺旋轴,3是设置在上述螺旋轴上的支承台。该支承台3和螺旋轴2用螺旋连结,螺旋轴一旋转,支承台3就沿螺旋轴2做往复运动。在上述支承台3上设置着轴4a,旋转刀4在这一轴4a上可自由旋转。此外,在上述主体机架1上,固定刀5用螺钉6固定。
图中,附图标记10是轴套,螺旋轴2被轴套10支承着,旋转自如而且滑动自如。轴套10被主体机架1支承着,在轴套10的端面上设置许多突起10a,用以调整和螺旋轴2的接触压力。该突起10a通过改变突起直径的大小或是稍微改变突起的高度就可以调整接触压力。在螺旋轴2的左端,制成轴肩2b用以吸收螺旋轴的热膨胀造成的伸展。在上述轴肩2b和上述轴套10的突起之间形成必要的给定距离的间隙S1(宽裕量),用以吸收螺旋轴2受热引起的伸展量。从轴套10突出的螺旋轴2的端部固定有皮带轮11。
另一方面,图中螺旋轴2的右端在机架端部1a上旋转自如且滑动自如地被支承着,在该机架端部1a的端面上,和上述轴套10一样制成许多突起1b,用以调整和螺旋轴2的接触压力。这些突起1b和突起10a一样,通过改变突起直径的大小或是稍微改变突起的高度就可以调整接触压力。此外,在上述螺旋轴2的右端采用可以弹性变形的制约机构2c,使这个制约机构2c一边弹性变形,一边***端部1a的支承孔内,由此使螺旋轴2被机架端部1a支承。在螺旋轴2被机架端部1a支承的状态下,在螺旋轴2和上述机架端部1a的突起1b之间形成由给定距离而有的间隙S2。
上述螺旋轴2被安装在主体机架上,通过上述皮带轮11以及形成于螺旋轴上的制约机构2c通常禁止螺旋轴2轴向移动。
在上述薄材切断装置上,和前面已经说明过的装置一样,电机旋转,这个旋转力就通过皮带等传动机构传递到皮带轮11上,螺旋轴自身就旋转起来。而且上述螺旋轴2一旋转,设置在螺旋轴2上的支承台3就在螺旋轴2上沿着图中左右方向做往复运动。这个结果是,在图3上当支承台往复运动时,由于旋转刀4和固定刀5的协调工作,把垂直于纸面方向移送过来的薄材切断。
此外,在本薄材切断装置上,螺旋轴2被轴套10支承处以及被机架端部支承的地方,无论何处由于螺旋轴受热而引起的伸展将如下述那样被吸收。
当支承旋转刀4的支承台3的待机位置处于图1中的A位置时,即使由于热膨胀使螺旋轴2伸展,这个伸展量将被间隙S2所吸收,该间隙形成于螺旋轴的轴肩和机架端部1a之间。
另外,当支承旋转刀4的支承台3的待机位置处于图1中的B位置时,即使由于热膨胀使螺旋轴2伸展,这个伸展量将被间隙S1所吸收,该间隙S1形成于螺旋轴轴肩和轴套之间。这时,由于螺旋轴2的伸展,皮带轮11将偏移到图中虚线的位置上,这种偏移将被皮带的宽度或是皮带轮11的宽度等所吸收,对于旋转力的传递没有任何障碍。
这样一来,在螺旋轴两端,因为保持着能够吸收螺旋轴伸展的宽裕量,所以无论在任何一端上,当旋转刀在待机状态下,即使温度有变化,螺旋轴的伸展也容易被吸收。
此外,本发明能够促进装配作业的合理化,因为由机架端部形成的螺旋轴的支部分采用了可以弹性变形的制约机构2c,同时因螺旋轴的另一端的支承部分由皮带轮11来决定位置,所以无需用螺钉等装配,即使主体机架和机架端部的装配等也无需固定螺钉。
本发明为了锋利地切断薄材,采用了薄材压紧装置。当薄材是较薄较弱的纸张等时,由于刀刃磨损变得迟钝,出现了一边切断纸张一边倒退而切歪或切断面有毛边等难以切规整的现象。为了改善这种情况,设置了如图2所示的压紧薄材用的弹簧。
参照图2说明薄材压紧装置的构造,图2是图3所示的薄材切断装置在A-A处的剖面图。
在图2上,附图标记5是固定刀,为具有所设定的间隙T与该固定刀5相对配置着长的薄材导向构件12,在该薄材导向构件12上,设置着适当数量的压紧薄材用的板弹簧14。弹簧14与薄材导向构件12结合在一起安装,该弹簧14不妨碍较弱的纸张的进纸,有着防止由于旋转刀的切断阻力使纸张倒退的功能。上述弹簧14的强度也能调节,该弹簧强度的调节由设于导向构件12的调整压力用的螺钉15来执行。
薄材在图中从箭头13的方向送入,通过旋转刀和固定刀5的协调工作而被切断,此时薄材被弹簧14压紧。由于这个压力,即使薄材是薄弱的纸张也能消除纸张的倒退而切歪或是切断面有毛边等不良情况,能够很好地把薄材切断。
再者,在上述实施例中,机架端部和螺旋轴的支承部如果是能允许螺旋轴受热形成的伸展的构造,那么什么样的构造都可以。另外,螺旋轴和机架的结合,并不限于制约机构。如果是能够防止脱落的构造,那么什么样的构造都可以。还有,压紧薄材的弹簧14,如能以适当的接触压力,起到压紧作用则不必限于弹簧。另外,弹簧压力调整机构是根据需要设置的,在弹簧压力无需调整的特别场合,就不用设调整机构(上述实施例中是螺钉15),此外以适当的接触压力把薄材压紧的位置按照薄材的宽度等,可以设置适当的数处。
不脱离本发明的精神或主要特征,可以用其他各种各样的形式来实施。因此上述的实施例不过是单纯示例,不能限定性地解释。再者属于权利要求范围的均等范围的变形或变化均属本发明范围内。
如以上详细说明的那样,关于本发明的薄材切断装置,以极其简单的构造,无论旋转刀在螺旋轴上的哪一端待机都能吸收由于环境温度的变化而引起的螺旋轴的伸长,所以能够防止由高温状态引发的螺旋轴的变形。另外,本发明在由机架端部形成的螺旋轴的支承部上采用了可以弹性变形的制约机构,同时因为螺旋轴的另一端的支承部由皮带轮来确定位置,所以无需螺钉等装配,即使主体机架和机架端部的装配等也无需螺钉固定,可以促进装配作业的合理化。再者,本发明为锋利地切断薄材,采用了薄材压紧装置,所以即使薄材是很薄弱的纸张等时也能很好地把薄材切断。能够呈现出种种的优异效果。

Claims (3)

1.一种薄材切断装置,具有在主体机架轴端支承的螺旋轴、在该螺旋轴上用螺旋连结的支承台、在该支承台上旋转自如地安装的旋转刀、在主体机架上固定的固定刀、使上述螺旋轴旋转的驱动机构,在由上述旋转刀和固定刀协调工作把薄材切断的切断装置中,其特征在于,上述螺旋轴在其两端回转自如,而且在轴向滑动自如地被主体机架支承,在螺旋轴与机架之间形成能吸收螺旋轴伸展的间隙,在螺旋轴受热伸展时,螺旋轴相对主体机架在上述间隙的范围内滑动,从而能吸收伸展。
2.如权利要求1所述的薄材切断装置,其特征在于:它具有能吸收应力的应力吸收机构,该应力是在支承上述螺旋轴的机架上,当螺旋轴伸展时,由于和机架相接而产生的。
3.如权利要求1所述的薄材切断装置,其特征在于:在上述螺旋轴的一端采用可以弹性变形的弹性止动件,在另一端形成驱动皮带轮安装部,螺旋轴依靠上述弹性止动件和驱动皮带轮被安装在主体机架上。
