Description

特别地用于自行车的LED尾灯
技术领域
本发明涉及LED尾灯,其包括光导和被布置成将发射光耦合到光导中的一个或若干LED,耦合到光导中的光的至少一部分通过光导的主表面逸出。
背景技术
用于自行车以及用于任何其他交通工具的尾灯必须设计成为其他驾驶员和骑行者提供良好的可见性。为了最大的安全性,需要从背后以及从旁侧看到尾灯。通常已知的自行车尾灯常常使用杂散光来确保旁侧可见性,而这典型地是微弱的;或者它们使用只用于旁侧可见性的附加LED,则这不对背后可见性做贡献,从而导致极其低效的操作。
DE 20 2010 003 752 U1公开一种用于自行车的LED尾灯,其提供从背后以及从旁侧的良好可见性。所公开的尾灯包括具有跨越到弯曲的侧部分中的平坦主部分的光导。LED被中心地布置在光导主部分的后面,使得LED的主发射方向朝主部分的相对主表面对准。光导被设计成朝侧部分内反射LED的光。该光的第一部分然后被第二次内反射以通过主部分的主表面逸出。第二部分通过弯曲的侧部分的主表面。由于这种弯曲的侧部分的设计,实现了旁侧可见性。
发明内容
本发明的目标是提供一种LED尾灯,其具有紧凑的设计并且允许带有良好背后和旁侧可见性的高效操作。利用根据权利要求1的LED尾灯实现该目标。所提出的LED尾灯的有利实施例是从属权利要求的主题或者在描述和实施例的随后部分中描述。
所提出的LED尾灯包括被布置在外壳中或者形成外壳的部分的光导。光导具有带有由光导的内侧面围绕的中心孔的板状形状。中心孔可以具有任意截面,例如圆形、椭圆形或多边形的截面。一个或若干LED布置在该中心孔中使得每一个LED的主发射方向朝内侧面对准,以将由LED发射的光通过内侧面耦合到光导中。光导被设计成引导发射光的第一部分以通过光导的至少两个相对外侧面逸出,并且内反射或散射朝两个外侧面行进的发射光的第二部分以通过光导的主表面逸出,所述主表面在内侧面和外侧面之间延伸。光导被布置在所述外壳中或所述外壳处以允许光通过光导的至少两个相对外侧面和主表面逸出到外壳之外的通路。
利用LED尾灯的这种构造,给出了完美的后部和旁侧可见性。通过使用专用出耦合结构将来自入耦合LED的光的主部分向后侧耦合出,所述出耦合结构将光内反射或散射到向着灯的后侧的主表面。通过耦合到光导中的光朝外侧面的直接经过实现了从旁侧的良好可见性。
所提出的LED尾灯的光导设计允许由LED发射的光的一部分到外侧面的直接经过,即无需任何另外的反射。将耦合到光导中的光的剩余部分朝后部主表面内反射或散射。这允许发射光的非常高效的使用和因此的尾灯的非常高效的操作。
在所提出的LED尾灯的实施例中,光导的至少两个相对外侧面被结构化以对通过所述外侧面逸出的光束进行附加地成形。这样的附加成形可以形成具有增加的发散度或具有在前向方向(即与后部方向相反)上逸出的部分的光束。
在所提出的尾灯的实施例之一中,光导被这样布置在灯的外壳中或外壳处,其使得光导的至少两个外侧面(光通过其逸出到旁侧)形成灯或外壳的外轮廓的部分。因此,光在没有任何另外的衰减的情况下通过光导的该外侧面直接逸出到外部。
所提出的尾灯优选地包括至少两个侧发射式LED,其被布置成使其主发射方向朝向两个相对的外侧面。这样的侧发射式LED在商业上可得到。LED的主发射方向对应于LED的发射瓣的中心轴并且与最大发射强度的方向一致。
用于内反射或散射耦合到光导中的光的第二部分的光导设计可以包括在与主表面相对的表面处的锯齿状或棱柱状结构。散射还可以通过嵌入光导中的小反射或散射颗粒来实现。也可以使用其他技术。
所提出的LED尾灯优选地适合作为自行车或摩托车的尾灯。不过,这样的尾灯也可以与其他交通工具或对象一起使用。

具体实施方式
在图1中以截面示出根据本发明所提出的LED尾灯的光导1的示例性设计。光导具有带有由光导1的内侧面围绕的中心孔2的板状形状。两个侧发射器LED 3布置在孔2的两个相对侧面上,使得每一个LED 3的主发射方向指向光导1的内侧面和外侧面4。光导1被设计成使得发射光的第一部分5通过外侧面4直接逸出从而提供尾灯的良好旁侧可见性,如图1中所指示。将由LED 3发射并且朝外侧面4行进的光的第二部分6朝光导的主表面7反射或散射以通过该主表面7逸出到后部,如图中所指示。这提供了所提出的LED灯的后部可见性。为了内反射或散射发射光的第二部分6,在本实施例中光导1的表面在与主表面7相对的侧面上被结构化成具有锯齿外形8,以便将入射光朝主表面7反射。主表面7在外侧面5与接近孔2的内侧面之间延伸,如从图1可见。
图3示出光导1的透视图,其中可以识别由内侧面9围绕的孔2以及外侧面4。该实施例的孔2具有六边形的截面。利用这种截面,例如六个侧发射式LED可以布置在孔2中,每一个LED对应于六边形截面的一个笔直部分,以便允许不仅在两个弯曲的相对外侧面4处而且还在光导的其他外侧面处的旁侧可见性。该图还示出在光导的与主表面相对的侧面处形成反射结构的锯齿外形8的区域。该出耦合结构提供了灯的后部可见性,所述灯在该实施例中从背侧表现为环形照明。
图2示出包含灯的外壳10的整个灯的侧视图。光导1延伸到灯的整个外轮廓,即外侧面4形成灯的外轮廓的部分。用于LED的电池或任何其他电源可以布置在外壳内部。作为替代,LED可以连接到外部电源,例如连接到自行车的发电机。
图4示出图2的灯的透视图。在该视图中,灯的后侧由用于保护包含LED的光导的中心部分的中心罩11形成。该中心罩11由光学透明罩12围绕,该光学透明罩12允许光通过光导的主表面逸出到后部的通路。

Claims (9)

1.一种LED尾灯,包括
- 被布置在外壳(10)中或者形成所述外壳(10)的部分的光导(1);
- 所述光导(1)具有带有由光导(1)的内侧面(9)围绕的中心孔(2)的板状形状;以及
- 一个或若干LED(3),其被布置在所述中心孔(2)中使得每一个LED(3)的主发射方向朝内侧面(9)对准,以便将发射光通过内侧面(9)耦合到光导(1)中;
- 所述光导(1)被设计成
-- 引导发射光的第一部分(5)以通过光导(1)的至少两个相对外侧面(4)逸出,并且
