本公开大致涉及电子香烟。如将被公开,电子香烟可具有用于保护其内部组件的半透明烟管和用于在电子香烟被吸期间扩散光的光腔。本文中描述的电子香烟组件可提供许多优点。电子香烟的半透明烟管和光腔可模拟传统香烟的自然燃烧的扩散光。将从下文提供的描述中了解许多额外优点。
现有技术的替代吸烟装置可包括多个组件,其由电源(如电池)、蒸发单元和包括液体的单元(其包括尼古丁)组成。电池可以是预充电的一次性装置(其不可再充电),或替代地为可再充电电池。在一个实施方案中,包括液体的单元可为渗透液体的棉花或一些其它适当吸收性纤维,其中包括液体的单元在烟管内包围蒸发单元。蒸发单元接着可包括绕烟芯包裹的加热元件,其中所述烟芯从周围的包括液体的单元吸收液体。在被吸时,负压力导致传感器开启加热元件,其接着导致被烟芯吸收的液体蒸发并通过空气管离开电子香烟。当使用时,装置的尖端可被点着,模拟传统香烟的效果。应清楚理解,可从使用内部组件的替代构造来获得大量好处。
传统电子香烟实施方案的主体可具有由金属制成的烟管。装置中的金属允许坚固性以及保护内部组件。然而,金属装置可导致缺陷。这些缺陷可包括完全不透明的烟管,其不允许任何光穿透它,导致当被吸时对传统香烟燃烧的模拟不真实。

复制传统香烟中所使用滤嘴的滤嘴12可与本电子香烟10一起使用。以先前的构造,滤嘴12一直具有允许烟/蒸汽穿过的孔。本发明的滤嘴12可完全封闭。可使用多孔膜52、多孔模制盘、酸性纤维或类似物以允许足够的蒸汽穿透,模拟用户模仿传统香烟滤嘴所需的吸入量。
本发明的电子香烟10的末端件28可以是烟灰模拟器30。通常,烟灰模拟器30可复制吸烟工具中使用的燃烧的烟草或其它材料。烟灰模拟器30可为半透明的,使得当电子香烟10被吸时光可扩散穿过烟灰模拟器30。当电子香烟10被吸时,来自光源34的光将扩散穿过烟管14的光腔36和烟灰模拟器30(和外罩38的杆40和环形凸缘42(如果其存在)),以模拟传统香烟在被吸时的自然燃烧。
