Abstract

本发明涉及一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料及其制备方法,它包括以下重量份的原料组分:聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯50~90,玻璃纤维10~50,助剂0.5~1,二氧化钛0.5‑5.0。本发明还提供其制备方法:按照重量份称取原料;将PBT树脂在90~110℃下干燥4~6小时;将PBT树脂、二氧化钛和助剂混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入无碱玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。本发明在配方体系中引入一定份数比玻璃纤维更高硬度的二氧化钛,在挤出加工过程中控制玻纤的保留长度,从而降低材料注塑成型后的翘曲情况,使用原材料种类简单,十分便于选材和实际生产操作。

Description

一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及聚酯复合材料技术领域,具体地说,是一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料及其制备方法。
背景技术
对于纤维增强结晶性材料,其成型制件时常常会发生翘曲的问题。制件发生翘曲的原因是材料在注塑过程中流动和垂直流动方向上的收缩差异,发生翘曲后往往会导致注塑部件超出公差范围。而通常在模具层面无法解决翘曲状况会选用具有较低翘曲的材料进行解决。
玻璃纤维增强PBT材料是一类具有优良性能和广泛应用的材料。PBT是典型的结晶材料,成型收缩率为1.8-2.0%。在PBT加入玻纤后会出现材料成型制件翘曲度明显提高的问题,在现有的玻纤增强PBT材料中,为改善翘曲,通常的,会在材料的共混加工中引入磨碎玻纤、异性玻纤、晶须、玻璃微珠或非晶性第二组分树脂如聚碳酸酯、丙烯腈-苯乙烯共聚物等物质降低材料的各向异性,降低材料的翘曲性能。前一类增强性物质的引入通常会显著提高材料的成本,而在实际生产会对加工设备有更高的要求,因其需要多个喂料结构装置。而非晶性树脂的引入通常会显著降低材料的力学性能,并且某些为保证相容性而含有酯键官能团树脂的引入会因为与PBT的酯交换反应破坏结晶性,会带来材料某些如耐化学品性能的降低等问题。
综上所述,如何通过较少组分,并且生产与选材操作都较简单的方式获得低翘曲玻纤增强聚酯材料有着很大的实际意义。
发明内容
本发明的目的就是为了克服上述现有技术存在的缺陷而提供一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料及其制备方法。
本发明的目的可以通过以下技术方案来实现:一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料,其特征在于,所述复合材料包括以下重量份的原料组分:
所述的PBT树脂为对苯二甲酸或其酯类衍生物和丁二醇或其酯类衍生物中的一种或两种通过均聚、共聚或均聚和共聚反应得到的聚合物,其特性粘数为0.74-1.3dL/g。优选的,采用0.82dL/g-1.2dL/g特性粘度的PBT树脂。
所述的玻璃纤维是无碱玻璃纤维,直径为7~13μm。
所述的助剂选自抗氧剂、成核剂、润滑剂、脱模剂、光稳定剂、颜料和染料中的至少一种。
所述的二氧化的钛粒径为10-500nm。优选的,采用金红石型的二氧化钛,经过表面处理后的莫氏硬度仍大于6.5。
一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
(1)按重量份称取原料;
(2)将PBT树脂在90~110℃下干燥4~6小时;
(3)将PBT树脂、助剂和二氧化钛混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。
所述的双螺杆挤出机的各分区温度保持在200~250℃,螺杆转速350~450rpm,挤出机上的真空泵控制挤出机内的真空度高于0.06MPa。
与现有技术相比,本发明采用比玻璃纤维硬度更高的二氧化钛引入共混体系,在双螺杆挤出过程中降低玻纤的保留长度,从而降低材料在成型时流动和垂直流动方向上的收缩差异,有效的降低了制品翘曲情况,同时原材料种类较少,十分便于选材和实际生产操作。

下面结合具体实施例对本发明进行详细说明。以下实施例将有助于本领域的技术人员进一步理解本发明,但不以任何形式限制本发明。应当指出的是,对本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明构思的前提下,还可以做出若干变形和改进。这些都属于本发明的保护范围。
以下实施例中,PBT树脂牌号为PBT GX121,粘度为1.0dL/g,江苏仪征化纤股份有限公司生产。
玻璃纤维为无碱玻纤HP3786,PPG公司生产。
钛白粉为R-103,金红石型,粒径230nm,DuPont公司生产。
技术领域人员可知,以上原料的选择仅用于说明本发明的技术方案,与上述内容等同的技术内容也在本发明的范围内。
实施例1
以重量比称取PBT树脂为68.5,二氧化钛0.5,加工助剂1,于高混机中混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机主喂装置中,在挤出机下游侧喂料处加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。双螺杆各分区温度保持在200~250℃,螺杆转速350~450rpm,挤出机上的真空泵控制挤出机内的真空度高于0.06MPa。
实施例2~4
实施例2~4的制备过程与实施例1相同,不同之处在于加入的各原料的量,具体见表1。

实施效果
将实施例1-4和对比例1-2制备的玻纤增强聚酯复合材料按ASTM标准尺寸注塑成测试用的标准样条,注塑温度为260℃、模温80℃,对其性能进行检测,结果如表2所示。

备注:弯曲测试条件为1.3mm/min,缺口冲击。翘曲度测试方法为:注塑厚2mm、长宽为150mm×150mm(L×L)的样板1,其一侧设置浇口2,正常放置24小时后测量样条弯曲的高度(H),翘曲度(%)=H/L×100%,测试方式见附图1~2所示。测试材料灰分后,将残留玻纤通过光学显微镜测试拍照,随机测试100根玻纤保留长度后,统计平均玻纤保留长度。
从实施例和对比例的测试结果可以看出:就玻纤增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯来说,二氧化钛的引入轻微恶化了材料的弯曲强度,但显著降低了材料的翘曲程度,这种变化与平均玻纤保留长度降低有关。
实施例5
一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)按重量份称取原料PBT树脂50,玻璃纤维50,助剂1,二氧化钛5;
所述的PBT树脂为对苯二甲酸或其酯类衍生物和丁二醇或其酯类衍生物中的一种或两种通过均聚、共聚或均聚和共聚反应得到的聚合物,其特性粘数为0.74dL/g。所述的玻璃纤维是无碱玻璃纤维,直径为7μm。所述的助剂为抗氧剂。
所述的二氧化是钛粒径为10nm的金红石型二氧化钛,经过表面处理后的莫氏硬度仍大于6.5。
(2)将PBT树脂在90℃下干燥6小时;
(3)将PBT树脂、助剂和二氧化钛混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。所述的双螺杆挤出机的各分区温度保持在200~250℃,螺杆转速350~450rpm,挤出机上的真空泵控制挤出机内的真空度高于0.06MPa。
实施例6
一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)按重量份称取原料PBT树脂90,玻璃纤维10,助剂0.5,二氧化钛0.5;
所述的PBT树脂采用0.82dL/g-1.2dL/g特性粘度的PBT树脂。所述的玻璃纤维是无碱玻璃纤维,直径为7~13μm。所述的助剂为成核剂。所述的二氧化是钛粒径为500nm的金红石型二氧化钛,经过表面处理后的莫氏硬度仍大于6.5。
(2)将PBT树脂在110℃下干燥4小时;
(3)将PBT树脂、助剂和二氧化钛混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。所述的双螺杆挤出机的各分区温度保持在200~250℃,螺杆转速350~450rpm,挤出机上的真空泵控制挤出机内的真空度高于0.06MPa。

Claims (3)

1.一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料,其特征在于,所述复合材料包括以下重量份的原料组分:
所述的PBT树脂为对苯二甲酸或其酯类衍生物和丁二醇或其酯类衍生物中的一种或两种通过均聚、共聚或均聚和共聚反应得到的聚合物,其特性粘数为0.74-1.3dL/g;
所述的玻璃纤维是无碱玻璃纤维,直径为7~13μm;
所述的二氧化钛的粒径为10-500nm;
上述玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料通过以下方法制成:
(1)按重量份称取原料;
(2)将PBT树脂在90~110℃下干燥4~6小时;
(3)将PBT树脂、助剂和二氧化钛混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品;
所述的助剂选自抗氧剂、成核剂、润滑剂、脱模剂、光稳定剂、颜料和染料中的至少一种。
2.一种如权利要求1所述的玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
(1)按重量份称取原料;
(2)将PBT树脂在90~110℃下干燥4~6小时;
(3)将PBT树脂、助剂和二氧化钛混合均匀后置于双螺杆挤出机中,在挤出机下游加入玻璃纤维,通过熔融、混炼、挤出、冷却、干燥、切粒得到产品。
3.根据权利要求2所述的一种玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯材料的制备方法,其特征在于,所述的双螺杆挤出机的各分区温度保持在200~250℃,螺杆转速350~450rpm,挤出机上的真空泵控制挤出机内的真空度高于0.06MPa。
