技术领域
本发明涉及挤压铝合金管产品。具体而言,本发明公开了用于制造换热器的铝管产品。本发明还涉及包含有挤压铝合金管产品的换热器组装件(assembly)的制造方法。
背景技术
在下文中将会明了的是,除非另有说明,铝合金牌号和状态代号(temper designations)是指在2010年由美国铝业协会(AluminumAssociation)出版的Aluminum Standards and Data and the RegistrationRecords中的Aluminum Association designations,其对于本领域技术人员而言是公知的。
对于合金组成或优选合金组成的任何描述而言,除非另有说明,所有提及百分比之处都是指重量百分比。本文所使用的术语“至多”(up to)和“至多约”(up to about)明确包括但不限于所涉及的特定合金组分的重量百分比为零的可能性。例如,至多约0.1%的Zn可包括不含Zn的合金。

例如通过将外部被钎焊材料层所包覆的钎焊板进行折叠(folding)来制造管或制冷剂管。
或者,通过挤压的方式生产管。基于典型挤压的换热器基本上为两种设计。第一种设计使用圆形管件(round tubing)和机械连接于圆管的翅片,首先将管置于翅片上已经打好的孔中,然后使管扩张,以确保管的外表面与翅片紧密地机械接触。
第二种典型的设计使用在管件中具有多个通道的扁平管件或管(flattubing or tubes),通常被称作多空隙管件(multi-void tubing)或微多空隙管件或多端口挤压管(multi port extruded tubes)或多腔管件(multi-cavitytubing)或多孔口管件(multi-porthole tubing)。使用钎焊方法将这种类型的换热器管件连接于翅片。流动通道的横截面可以变化,例如圆形、椭圆形、方形、矩形或其它规则或不规则的形状。通常情况下,微多空隙管件和多空隙管件的宽度为约10-80mm,高度为约1-5mm。
对于挤压多空隙管件而言,可使用各种各样的铝合金。在需要耐腐蚀性的情况下,经常选择AA1000系列铝合金。在需要更高强度的情况下,经常使用AA3000和AA6000系列。用于微多空隙管件和多空隙管件的铝合金已有各种公开,并对合金组成进行了优化,以满足对耐腐蚀性或强度水平的特定改进。在EP-1564307-A1、EP-1721988-A1和EP-1892308-A1各专利文献公开文本中可找到实例,并以引用的方式并入本文。
另一个实例在美国公开的专利申请2007/0017605-A1中公开,该专利申请公开了具有改进的表面特性的具体Al-Mn-Si铝合金挤压产品。在将氟化物型钎剂施用于由铝合金制成的多端口管(multi-port tube)的表面之后,将多端口管和其它构件(例如翅片材料)组装成特定的结构,并通过在含有非活性气体的加热炉中进行钎焊而得以连接。
对于经钎焊的换热器和制造该经钎焊的换热器的方法,特别是对于不需要施用钎焊钎剂材料的钎焊方法,铝挤压合金管坯料领域仍有改进的余地。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供用于经钎焊换热器的铝合金挤压管坯材(stockmaterial),该坯材特别是用于不需要施用钎焊钎剂材料的钎焊方法。
这一目的和其它目的以及进一步的优点通过本发明得以实现或超越,本发明提供用于换热器组装件的铝合金挤压管产品,所述产品由AA3xxx系列铝合金制成,并且进一步包含有目的地添加的一种或多种润湿元素,所述润湿元素选自于由Bi0.03%-0.5%、Pb0.03%-0.5%、Sb0.03%-0.5%、Li0.03%-0.5%、Se0.03%-0.5%、Y0.03%-0.05%、Th0.03%-0.05%所组成的组,并且这些元素的总和为0.5%以下。
润湿元素选自于由Bi、Pb、Li、Sb、Se、Y和Th所组成的组,其中,润湿元素的总量为约0.01%-0.5%。润湿元素的总量优选不超过0.4%。
根据本发明已经发现,本发明可以制造包含有铝工件(包括铝合金挤压管)的经钎焊组装件,从而在受控气氛钎焊法中无须提供钎焊钎剂材料、如氟化物钎剂。在钎焊周期中,润湿剂主要位于或邻近挤压产品表面区域,并且从挤压产品扩散到表面区域,进入用于将挤压管坯料钎焊至其它组件(例如翅片和封头)的熔融铝-硅填充合金中;因而,润湿剂促进了熔融填充合金具有良好的流动性,即使不使用钎剂材料,也可在受控气氛钎焊方法中获得良好的角焊缝形成。
在本领域中已知的是,在组合使用钎焊钎剂材料(例如基于氟化物的钎剂)的受控气氛钎焊中,铝合金中的Mg含量应保持在低水平、通常小于0.2%、更优选小于0.05%,以避免Mg和钎剂之间任何不利的相互作用。根据本发明已经发现,由于挤压铝合金管材料理想地适用于在受控气氛钎焊操作中进行无钎剂钎焊,从而可以相应地容许铝合金中的Mg。因此,可容许显著更高水平的Mg,或者可以有目的地添加Mg。可将Mg有目的地加入到铝合金体系中,从而增加例如铝合金的强度。如下文所记载,Mg的另一个有目的的作用是,它可与所施用的润湿剂(特别是使用Bi时)有利地相互作用。
在优选的实施方式中,作为受控气氛钎焊操作期间在该铝合金体系中用于该目的的最有效的润湿元素,由这一润湿元素的组中选择Bi元素,其量为约0.03%-0.5%、优选约0.03%-0.35%、并且更优选上限为0.30%。理想的情况是仅将Bi以0.03%-0.5%加入到填充合金中。Bi添加量的优选下限为0.06%。通常Bi水平为约0.1%和约0.15%。
在向铝合金挤压管中添加Bi、优选仅添加Bi的实施方式中,对于Mg不起到其它显著有目的的作用的合金体系,相对于Bi2Mg3的化学计量组成,更优选过量Mg的含量为0.1%以下,优选0.07%以下。已经发现,Bi在铝中具有低溶解度,即使以例如0.1%或0.15%的低水平进行添加,Bi也趋于在晶界(grain boundaries)处析出。这可能会导致作为坯料保存相当长的时间时,挤压管的外观出现白灰。为了克服这一作用,少量Mg会形成阻止Bi在晶界处析出的Bi2Mg3。然而,这一Bi2Mg3相会在钎焊周期期间加热时溶于铝合金,释放出Bi,从而降低熔融Al-Si填充物的表面张力。
所述挤压铝合金优选不含Na、Li、K和Ca元素的任一种,以避免在受控气氛钎焊操作期间对Bi以及任何任选的Mg的任何干扰。“不含(free)”意味着不会有目的地将Na、Li、K和Ca添加到化学组成中,但是由于杂质和/或来自于与制造设备接触的渗漏,痕量的Na、Li、K和Ca仍可能进入所述填充合金产品中。例如,痕量的实例为小于0.006%。

(b)将组件、多孔口管以及其它组件(例如翅片)组装成组装件;

8.制造通过钎焊连接的制品或制造经钎焊组件的组装件的方法,所述方法包含以下步骤:
(a)使所述组件成型,所述组件中的至少一个由权利要求1-7中任一项所述的挤压铝合金管产品制成;
(b)将所述组件组装成组装件;
(c)在不向所述组件的组装件施用钎焊钎剂的情况下对所述组装件进行钎焊,并在非活性受控气体气氛中,将整个组装件在钎焊温度下钎焊,形成经钎焊的组装件;以及
(d)将所述经钎焊的组装件冷却。
