背景技术

主电池通过电源线路35连接到第四端子,其中在电源线路35中设置有烟火装置36。在短路的情况下启动该烟火装置36,以便将主电池与连接到第三端子13的车辆负载2、3断开。与电源线路35并联的是包括保险丝38的线路37。图1还示出了包括多个保险丝41、42、43的保险丝盒40。附图标记44表示螺线管开关,其设置为将起动器与第四端子14连接和断开。应当注意,端子14’和14”描述为两个端子,而它们可以被视为一个端子14。
根据本发明的一个方面,在第三端子处的电压(Vout)下降到低于预定临界电压(VIow)的情况下,电池控制模块1设置为通过使第二开关22导电来将支援电池7连接到负载2、3。通过硬件来实现电压比较器16和逻辑或单元30这两者,使得一旦输出电压Vout降到低于指定电压阈值VIow时能够非常快速地切换第二开关22,并且从而非常快速启动支援电池7。支援电池7在需要时支援主电池6,或者充当为冗余电源。支援电池7只不过需要作为备用电池,且并不在正常情形下使用。因此,与已知***相比,不需要对支援电池7频繁进行充电,这将增加其使用寿命,并降低维护费用。
所提出的解决方案使得车辆中的电压电平能够保持在可以满足临界性能(例如,转向和制动)的范围之内。可以处理车辆中的任何种类的暂态高电负载。
在一个实施例中,预碰撞传感器(未示出)设置为发起高S2信号,从而使第二开关22导电。这将导致支援电池7到负载2、3的主动连接,这对于电动助力转向(即,EPAS3)、制动***或者电气安全带的快速启动方面是有利的。通过准时切换第二开关和自动连接支援电池7,将会帮助保持输出电压处于适当的电平,以避免电气***发生故障。
在一个实施例中,如果主电池与车辆断开的情形发生(例如,在碰撞中),则支援电池7充当为冗余电源。如果失去了端子11和14处的输入电压,则使开关21、23关断并隔离任何故障。与此同时,使开关22导电来切换作为冗余电源的支援电源7。优选地,开关21、23对电压进行内部测量,从而检测主供电端子11和14的失去。将该信息通信到微处理器25,在该情况下微处理器25生成信号S2,使得第二开关22导电,并将支援电池7连接到车辆负载2、3。
电池控制模块还充当在作为标准停止/起动车辆的两个电源之间的切换装置,并且由于其快速反应,该电池控制模块可以用于满足滑行场景(coastingscenarios)中的***安全需求。在标准停止/起动事件期间,通过开关21、23使主电池6与车辆负载2、3分离,以便只向起动器电机5馈电。与此同时,支援电池7通过开关22连接到车辆,以向车辆的电负载2、3馈电。这将保持车辆在手摇起动期间的全部功能(在非停止/起动车辆中,在手摇起动期间关闭诸如转向、车灯和娱乐资讯等负载),从而在车辆移动的同时能够手摇启动。此外,当交流发电机没有运行时(例如,当发动机被关闭而车辆仍然移动时,例如滑行),该***将能够处理上述的暂态事件。
电池控制模块1解决了在同一时间使用双充电器或者一个充电器的问题。启动电压传感器(例如,电压传感器50)以识别何时应用充电器,并将开关22切换到导电状态,同时对这两个电池6、7进行充电。
当端子14处的高电压消失时,开关22将再次断开,使这两个电池6和7分离,从而避免这些电池彼此之间循环。
通过背对背地连接两个MOSFET22’和22”,这两个MOSFET形成开关22,当开关22关断时,使支援电池7与负载或者主电池6完全隔离。这就是为何两个背对背的MOSFET比仅一个MOSFET更优选。
应当注意,端子13称为输出端子,但如本领域普通技术人员所已知的,该端子也是交流发电机4所产生的电能的输入端。在外部充电的情况下,使用传感器50对端子14处的电压进行测量,并且当检测到高电压时使开关22导电,导致对支援电池7进行充电。电流传感器34设置为连续地测量电流并检测过电流。在检测到过电流的情况下,微处理器25将会关断开关22以保护该开关。
图2示意性地示出了与发动机控制模块(ECM)55通信的电池控制模块1。ECM55接收来自各个传感器的信息,然后将信号发送到诸如燃料喷射器和定时等元件,以便使发动机以其最佳性能和燃料经济性运转。ECM55还将信号(诸如信号S1和S2,还可能是线路输入,参加图1中的26)发送到电池控制模块1。
图3示意性地示出了包括上述电池控制模块的车辆60。本发明首先可用于常规汽车和混合动力汽车。在纯电动车辆中,不需要开关23(不存在起动器电机),但是需要开关22和连接到开关22的电压比较器16。
对本领域普通技术人员来说显而易见的是,可以在不脱离本发明的思想和目的的情况下,在所附权利要求的保护范围之内对本发明进行修改。上述的车辆可以是汽车,但其也可以是卡车或者任何其它具有挡风玻璃的车辆。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于向车辆(60)的电负载(2、3)进行供电的电气供电***(1),所述***包括:
-主电池(6);
-支援电池(7);
-电池控制模块(8),包括:
о第一端子,用于连接到所述主电池;
о第二端子,用于连接到所述支援电池;
о第三端子,用于连接到所述电负载;
о电压比较器(16),设置为确定所述第三端子处的电压,并且当所确定的电压小于预定临界最低电压电平时输出高输出电平;
о第一开关(21),设置在所述第一端子(11)与所述第三端子(13)之间,所述第一开关能够由第一控制信号(S1)来控制,
о第二开关,设置在所述第二端子与所述第三端子之间,
-所述电池控制模块(8)设置为在所述第三端子处的电压下降到低于预定临界电压的情况下,通过使所述第二开关导电来将所述支援电池连接到所述负载。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电气供电***,其中,所述电池控制模块设置为接收第二控制信号,并且当接收到所述第二控制信号时使所述第二开关导电。
3.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的电气供电***,其中,所述第二开关包括以背对背配置设置的两个MOSFET装置。
4.根据权利要求1和2中的任一项所述的电气供电***,其中,如果所述主电池与所述***断开,则使所述第一开关不导电并使所述第二开关导电。
5.根据权利要求1和2中的任一项所述的电气供电***,其中,所述***还包括预碰撞传感器,所述预碰撞传感器设置为检测危险情况并且发起待要发送到所述电池控制模块的信号,所述电池控制模块在接收到所述发起的信号时使所述第二开关导电。
6.根据权利要求1和2中的任一项所述的电气供电***,其中,所述***还包括连接到所述第三端子的电气充电器(4),一电压传感器设置为识别何时应用所述充电器,并使所述第一开关(21)和所述第二开关这两者导电,从而同时对所述支援电池和所述主电池这两者进行充电。
7.根据权利要求1和2中的任一项所述的电气供电***,所述电池控制模块还包括第四端子(14’、14”),所述第四端子(14’、14”)经由电源线路连接到所述主电池并且经由第三开关(23)连接到所述第三端子(13),其中在标准停止/起动事件期间,通过使所述第一开关和所述第三开关不导电而使所述主电池与所述第三端子分离,以便至少在连接到所述第四端子的使用中只向起动器电机馈电,同时通过使所述第二开关导电来使所述支援电池连接到所述第三端子,以向所述车辆负载馈电。
8.一种电池控制模块,其用于根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的***中。
9.包括根据权利要求1-7中的任一项所述的电气供电***的车辆。
