背景技术
许多衬垫材料包括金属支撑结构,这可归因于衬垫材料的易碎特性。例如,高温衬垫材料(即,能够在850℉到2,000℉的范围内使用的衬垫材料)可包括设计成为衬垫材料提供强度和支撑的金属芯。当没有这样的金属支撑物时,衬垫材料是易碎的,并且容易在加工和运输过程中碎裂或破裂。

出于这些和其它原因,需要具有如下的衬垫材料:其具有改进的强度,但不依赖于设置在该衬垫材料内部的金属支撑物。
发明内容
在一些实施方式中,公开了一种增强衬垫材料。所述增强衬垫材料包括第一衬垫材料层、第二衬垫材料层和被夹在所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层之间的非金属稀松布层。所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层的材料是高温密封材料、压缩纤维、石墨或聚四氟乙烯。
通过使用非金属稀松布,增强衬垫材料克服了许多与带有金属芯的衬垫材料相关的问题。所述增强衬垫材料具有提高的强度,并且还是挠性的,易于加工,易于切割,并且不导电。另外,用于所述非金属稀松布的一些材料与现有技术中所用的金属芯相比可较轻和较廉价。

可使用任何适合用于高温衬垫材料中的高温纤维。合适的纤维由LapinusTM、SuperwoolTM和BelcotexTM生产。在一些实施方式中,所述高温纤维是陶瓷纤维或氧化锆纤维。其它合适的纤维包括人造玻璃质纤维,包括但不限于长丝玻璃纤维、玻璃棉纤维、矿毛纤维、渣棉纤维、耐火陶瓷纤维和特种纤维。
可使用任何适合用于高温衬垫材料中的粘合剂。如上所述,所述粘合剂可以是有机粘合剂,诸如NBR或SBR。

Claims (20)
1.一种增强衬垫材料,包括:
第一衬垫材料层;
第二衬垫材料层;
非金属稀松布层,其被夹在所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层之间;
其中所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层包括高温密封材料、压缩纤维、膨胀石墨或聚四氟乙烯。
2.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非金属稀松布层包括玻璃纤维、陶瓷纤维、聚芳酰胺纤维、石墨纤维、碳纤维和聚合物纤维。
3.如权利要求2所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非金属稀松布层包括两个或更多个非金属稀松布层。
4.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非金属稀松布层是具有范围在30个/英寸到2个/英寸的网目的经线或纬线的机织非金属稀松布层。
5.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非金属稀松布层的厚度为0.002英寸到0.025英寸。
6.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层还包括粘合剂。
7.如权利要求6所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述粘合剂包括有机粘合剂。
8.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料层,其中所述非金属稀松布层被压实并固化到所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层上。
9.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料层,其中所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层包括高温密封材料,所述高温密封材料包括:
80wt%或更多的非氧化性高温填料;
20wt%或更少的高温纤维;和
6wt%或更少的粘合剂。
10.如权利要求9所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非氧化性高温填料包括云母、蛭石、滑石、硅灰石、高岭石和叶蜡石。
11.如权利要求9所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述高温纤维包括陶瓷纤维、矿棉或玻璃纤维。
12.如权利要求9所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述粘合剂包括NBR、SBR、天然橡胶、新戊二烯、EPDM或含氟高弹体。
13.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层包括非石棉压缩纤维。
14.如权利要求13所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非石棉压缩纤维包括:
80wt%或更少的填料;
10wt%或更多的粘合剂;和
2wt%或更多的纤维。
15.如权利要求14所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述填料包括硅灰石、高岭石、滑石、云母、蛭石或叶蜡石。
16.如权利要求14所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述粘合剂包括有机粘合剂。
17.如权利要求16所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述有机粘合剂包括苯乙烯-丁二烯树脂或腈-丁二烯树脂。
18.如权利要求14所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述纤维包括矿棉、陶瓷纤维或玻璃纤维。
19.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述非金属稀松布层涂有粘合剂。
20.如权利要求1所述的增强衬垫材料,其中所述增强衬垫材料包括被夹在所述第一衬垫材料层和所述第二衬垫材料层之间的两个或更多个非金属稀松布层。
