Description

Pre-configuration method and system of backhaul link
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications, and in particular, to a method and a system for pre-configuring a backhaul link.
Background
For a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system or a Long Term Evolution-advanced (LTE-a) system, the current Access Point (AP) mainly includes: enhanced macro cell Base Station (enhanced Node Base Station), Relay Node (RN), Pico cell Base Station (Femto NB), Pico cell Base Station (Pico NB), and home NB. Some of these access nodes can be directly connected, and the link between the access nodes that can be directly connected is called a backhaul link.
Taking RN as an example, the so-called relay technology, in a simple way, in a downlink direction, a signal sent to a terminal by a base station is not directly sent to the terminal, but is sent to an RN first, and then the RN forwards the signal to the terminal; in the uplink direction, the uplink signal of the terminal is not directly sent to the base station, but is sent to an RN first and then forwarded to the base station by the RN. The main application scenarios of the RN are as follows: in order to realize seamless coverage and reduce the deployment cost, RN is deployed in remote rural areas; urban hotspots are deployed to enhance coverage and user throughput and improve spectrum efficiency; in special scenes such as historical relics and the like, RN is deployed indoors for the purpose of historical relic protection; in order to reduce frequent cell switching of high-speed mobile terminals, RNs and the like are deployed on vehicles such as trains, buses and the like. The backhaul link refers to a communication link between the RN and the base station, the access link is a link between the RN and its subordinate terminal, and the base station serving the RN is called denb (donor enb).
The backhaul link may be wireless in LTE/LTE-a, as follows: remote areas, coverage of temporary hotspot areas, disaster relief periods, access nodes in nomadic states, and the like. In these scenarios, effective coverage over the wired connection is not possible due to either the cost of deploying the wired connection being too high, or the inability to estimate its location and advance wired coverage, or the interruption of wired communication. Since the wireless link can provide service quickly, it is necessary to allocate frequency resources to this part of the backhaul link to perform wireless connection.
In the above scenario, for the resource problem used by the wireless backhaul link, currently, it is mainly considered to allocate a part of the spectrum resources authorized to be allocated to the LTE/LTE-a system for the wireless backhaul link connection according to the regulations of the spectrum management organization. Under the allocation formula, the spectrum resources allocated by the backhaul link and the access link are multiplexed, which inevitably causes mutual interference between the two links, and to a certain extent, also affects the capacity and the service quality of the access link of the current base station to which the AP is connected.

Detailed Description
The basic idea of the invention is as follows: the AP accesses the network by the terminal identity, reports the self capability and requests the pre-configuration information; the network side selects a target network node for the AP according to the self-ability reported by the AP, informs the network target node to carry out admission preparation, and feeds back pre-configuration information to the AP; and the AP accesses the target network node according to the acquired pre-configuration information.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples.
Fig. 1 shows a flow of implementing the method for pre-configuration of backhaul link of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step 101, an AP accesses a network by a terminal identity, reports self capability and requests pre-configuration information;
in this step, the access of the AP to the network with the terminal identity when the AP is powered on is to obtain configuration parameters required by the AP when the AP normally operates; for example, the AP may select any base station, such as eNB, which is accessible by itself, to establish a connection between the AP and the network side to obtain configuration parameters required for subsequently entering a normal operating mode, where the eNB includes enbs that support and do not support the function of admitting the AP; the network side can be a core network side network element or a network management side network element; the core network side network element may include a Mobility Management Entity (MME), a Serving Gateway (SGW), a Public data network Gateway (PGW), a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), and the like; the Network Management element may include an Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM), an Equipment Management System (EMS), a Network Management System (NMS), an eNB, a DeNB, a Central Control node (CCP), a Network Reconfiguration Management Entity (NRM), a Reconfiguration Entity (RE), and the like.
After completing the network initial access of the terminal identity, the AP reports its own capability to the network side, where the reported own capability includes one or more of the following information: the working frequency points supported by the mobile terminal, the working bandwidth supported by the mobile terminal, the maximum transmitting power, the position information, the capability of the access terminal and the like. The capabilities of the access terminal include one or more of version, number, service type, etc. of the access terminal supported by the AP.
102, a network side selects a target network node for the AP according to the self-ability reported by the AP, informs the target network node to carry out admission preparation, and feeds back pre-configuration information to the AP;
specifically, in this step, the network side selects a target network node that at least meets the frequency point and the required bandwidth supported by the AP according to the location information reported by the AP; specifically, when the selected target network nodes include a plurality of target network nodes, the target network nodes of which the wireless backhaul links operate on idle spectrum resources are preferentially selected; secondly, selecting a target network node which can establish a backhaul link by coordinating idle spectrum resources; and finally, selecting the target network node with the wireless backhaul link working in the authorized spectrum and abundant authorized spectrum resources. Here, the free spectrum resources refer to spectrum resources that are not used by the authorized user in a certain area or time, and include one or more of tv band free spectrum TVWS resources, global system for mobile communications GSM free spectrum resources, 3G system free spectrum resources, and LTE/LTE-a system free spectrum resources; when the backhaul link configuration of the AP uses these idle spectrums, mutual interference between the backhaul link and the access link, and an impact on the capacity or the service quality of the wireless access link can be avoided.
In this step, informing the target network node of admission preparation specifically includes: the network side sends an admission preparation notice to a finally selected target network node, the target network node is configured according to the pre-configuration information in the received admission preparation notice, and after the configuration is completed, a confirmation message is fed back to the network side; specifically, the target network node reserves resources for the AP, starts a preset timer, and releases the resources when the AP is not yet accessed to the target network node after the timer expires. At this time, the network side may send the preconfigured information to the AP after receiving the confirmation message fed back by the target network node. Here, the duration of the timer may be set according to an average value obtained by statistics of time required by multiple successful accesses of the AP, for example, the duration may be set to 200ms, which is used as time for reserving resources for the AP by the target network node, and if the AP still does not complete the access process after the timer expires, the access is considered to be failed, and the target network node releases the reserved resources and configuration; when the AP accesses the target network node after the timer expires, the reserved resource is released, and the AP needs to complete the access to the target network node according to the existing access flow.
The preconfigured information may include an identifier of a target network node, a working frequency point, a bandwidth, a transmission parameter limit, and the like; wherein, the transmission parameter limit can be the allowed maximum transmission power, antenna pattern, etc.
And 103, the AP accesses the target network node according to the acquired pre-configuration information.
Specifically, the AP finds and accesses the target network node according to the identifier of the target network node in the provisioning information, and completes configuration according to the transmission parameter limit of the target network node in the provisioning information, such as the allowed maximum transmission power, the antenna pattern, and the like.
Fig. 2 shows a flow of implementing a first embodiment of a method for pre-configuration of a backhaul link according to the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, this embodiment takes a network side as OAM and an AP as RN as examples, where a network node having a function of receiving the RN is a DeNB; it should be understood that when the network side is other network elements and the AP is other access entity, the processing flow is similar to the above; the embodiment comprises the following steps:
step 201, the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity, reports its own capability to the OAM, and requests pre-configuration information;
the reason why the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity is to acquire configuration parameters required when the RN normally operates: at this time, the RN selects any eNB that the RN may access, specifically may include an eNB that supports or does not support the function of admitting the RN, and further establishes a connection between the RN and the network side to acquire configuration parameters required for subsequently entering a normal operating mode of the RN.
The RN finishes the initial network access of the terminal identity, after establishing the contact with the OAM, reports the self capacity to the OAM for the OAM to select a proper DeNB for the RN, and requests the pre-configuration information; the information of the capability reported by the RN to the OAM can comprise one or more of a working frequency point supported by the RN, a working bandwidth supported by the RN, maximum transmitting power, position information and the capability of an access terminal; specifically, the operating frequency range may be 500-1000MHz supported by itself, the operating bandwidth (5MHz, 10MHz, 20MHz) supported by itself, the maximum transmission power may be 100W, and the location information may be represented by latitude and longitude: east longitude 45 degrees, north latitude 32 degrees, access terminal capability such as terminal supporting LTE R8 version by AP, number 10000, service type: voice, data.
Step 202, the OAM selects a target DeNB for the RN to accept the RN;
the process of selecting a suitable DeNB for the RN by the OAM specifically includes: according to the position information reported by the RN, when a DeNB meeting the requirements of the RN exists in a DeNB selectable in the position of the RN, the OAM selects the proper DeNB as a target DeNB of the RN; that is, according to the self-capability reported by the RN, a DeNB at least meeting the frequency point and the required bandwidth supported by the RN is selected, and for example, in the DeNB that can be selected at the position where the RN is located, there are the following two denbs: DeNB1 and DeNB2, wherein the operating parameters of DeNB1 are: the working frequency point is 600MHz, the working bandwidth is 10MHz, and the allowed maximum transmitting power is 200W; the operating parameters of DeNB2 are: the working frequency point is 600MHz, the working bandwidth is 8MHz, and the allowed maximum transmitting power is 200W. According to the self-capability reported by the RN: the working frequency range supported by the OAM is 500-1000MHz, the working bandwidth supported by the OAM is 5MHz, 10MHz and 20MHz, the maximum transmitting power is 100W, and the DeNB1 is selected as the target DeNB of the RN.
Here, if the backhaul link resources and the access link between the RN and the DeNB share the authorized spectrum occupying LTE/LTE-a, the service quality of the access link and the user experience are certainly affected, and here, when there are a plurality of denbs meeting the RN requirement, when the OAM selects a target DeNB, the OAM preferentially selects the DeNB in which the backhaul link operates on the idle spectrum resources; secondly, selecting a DeNB which can establish a backhaul link by coordinating TVWS resources; and finally, selecting the wireless backhaul link to work in the licensed spectrum, wherein the licensed spectrum resource of the DeNB is abundant.
Step 203, the OAM sends an admission preparation notice to the target DeNB, the target DeNB performs configuration according to the admission preparation notice, and after the configuration is completed, a confirmation message is fed back to the OAM;
and after receiving the admission preparation notice from the OAM, the target DeNB executes admission preparation. Specifically, the method comprises the steps that a target DeNB performs configuration according to pre-configuration information in an admission preparation notice sent by OAM, and resources are reserved for the RN; and after the target DeNB configuration is completed, feeding back a confirmation message to the OAM. The method can also comprise the following steps: starting a preset timer; and when the timer expires, the RN still does not access the target DeNB, and the target DeNB releases the resources reserved before.
Step 204, after receiving the confirmation message of the target DeNB, the OAM feeds back the pre-configuration information to the RN;
here, the preconfigured information of OAM feedback includes, but is not limited to: identification of the target DeNB, working frequency point, bandwidth, emission parameter limit, information related to the target DeNB cell, and the like.
In step 205, the RN finds the target DeNB for access through the identifier of the target DeNB in the preconfigured information from the OAM, and completes configuration according to the transmission parameter limit in the preconfigured information, such as the allowed maximum transmission power, the antenna pattern, and the like.
Fig. 3 shows a flow of implementing a second embodiment of the method for pre-configuration of a backhaul link according to the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, this embodiment is described by taking a network side as OAM and an AP as RN, where a network node having a function of receiving the RN is a DeNB; it should be understood that when the network side is other network elements and the AP is other access entity, the processing flow is similar to the above; the embodiment comprises the following steps:
step 301, the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity, reports its own capability to the OAM, and requests pre-configuration information;
the reason why the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity is to acquire configuration parameters required when the RN normally operates: at this time, the RN selects any eNB that the RN may access, specifically may include an eNB that supports or does not support the function of admitting the RN, and further establishes a connection between the RN and the network side to acquire configuration parameters required for subsequently entering a normal operating mode of the RN.
The RN finishes the initial network access of the terminal identity, after establishing the contact with the OAM, reports the self capacity to the OAM for the OAM to select a proper DeNB for the RN, and requests the pre-configuration information; the information of reporting the capability of the RN to the OAM may include one or more of a working frequency point supported by the RN, a working bandwidth supported by the RN, a maximum transmission power, location information, and a capability of the access terminal.
Step 302, OAM selects a target DeNB for the RN to accept the RN;
the process of selecting a suitable DeNB for the RN by the OAM specifically includes: according to the position information reported by the RN, when a DeNB meeting the requirements of the RN exists in a DeNB selectable in the position of the RN, the OAM selects the proper DeNB as a target DeNB of the RN, namely the DeNB at least meeting the frequency point and the required bandwidth supported by the RN is selected according to the self-capability reported by the RN;
here, if the backhaul link resources and the access link between the RN and the DeNB share the authorized spectrum occupying LTE/LTE-a, the service quality of the access link and the user experience are certainly affected, and here, when there are a plurality of denbs meeting the RN requirement, when the OAM selects a target DeNB, the OAM preferentially selects the DeNB in which the backhaul link operates on the idle spectrum resources; secondly, selecting a DeNB for establishing a backhaul link by coordinating TVWS resources; and finally, selecting the wireless backhaul link to work in the licensed spectrum, wherein the licensed spectrum resource of the DeNB is abundant.
Step 303, the OAM sends an admission notification to the target DeNB, the target DeNB performs configuration according to the admission preparation notification, and after the configuration is completed, a confirmation message is fed back to the OAM;
and after receiving the admission preparation notice from the OAM, the target DeNB executes admission preparation. Specifically, the method comprises the steps that a target DeNB performs configuration according to pre-configuration information in an admission preparation notice sent by OAM, and resources are reserved for the RN; and after the target DeNB configuration is completed, feeding back a confirmation message to the OAM. The method can also comprise the following steps: simultaneously starting a preset timer; and when the timer expires, the RN still does not access the target DeNB, and the target DeNB releases the resources reserved before.
Step 304, after the OAM selects a target DeNB for the RN, feeding back the pre-configuration information to the RN;
in this embodiment, the OAM need not to wait for receiving the acknowledgement message of the target DeNB and then feed back the pre-configuration information to the RN. In this case, the procedure of searching for the DeNB by the RN may be performed simultaneously with the procedure of admission preparation by the target DeNB, which reduces the time for the RN to wait for the pre-configuration information in the first embodiment.
It should be noted that step 303 and step 304 are not necessarily sequential in implementation.
Here, the preconfigured information of OAM feedback includes, but is not limited to: the identification, working frequency point, bandwidth and emission parameter limit of the target DeNB are limited, such as allowed maximum emission power; in addition, the pre-configuration information may further include information related to a target DeNB cell; or may not include DeNB cell related information; the information related to the DeNB cell may also be acquired when a subsequent RN accesses the target DeNB.
In step 305, the RN finds the target DeNB for access through the identifier of the target DeNB in the pre-configuration information from the OAM, and completes configuration according to the transmission parameter limit in the pre-configuration information, such as the allowed maximum transmission power, the antenna pitch angle, the direction, and the like.
Fig. 4 shows a flow of implementing a third embodiment of the method for pre-configuration of a backhaul link according to the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, this embodiment is described by taking a network side as OAM and an AP as RN, where a network node having a function of receiving the RN is a DeNB; it should be understood that when the network side is other network elements and the AP is other access entity, the processing flow is similar to the above; the embodiment comprises the following steps:
step 401, the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity, reports its own capability to the OAM, and requests the preconfigured information;
the reason why the RN accesses the network with the terminal identity is to acquire configuration parameters required when the RN normally operates: at this time, the RN selects any eNB that the RN may access, specifically may include an eNB that supports or does not support the function of admitting the RN, and further establishes a connection between the RN and the network side to acquire configuration parameters required for subsequently entering a normal operating mode of the RN.
Step 402, OAM obtains a suitable target DeNB for the RN through coordination resources so as to accept the RN;
the process of selecting a suitable DeNB for the RN by the OAM specifically includes: according to the position information reported by the RN, when no DeNB meeting the RN requirement exists in the optional DeNB at the position of the RN, the OAM selects one DeNB and coordinates resources for the DeNB, so that the DeNB can meet the frequency point supported by the RN and the frequency spectrum resource requirement of the required bandwidth. The coordination may be that the OAM obtains the free spectrum resources from the database (Data Base, DB) through its internal CCP module, or interacts with CCPs of other communication systems to obtain free spectrum resources of other systems, or interacts with CCPs of other areas of the present system to obtain free spectrum resources.
The OAM is a free spectrum resource coordinated by the DeNB, namely a spectrum resource which is not used by a privileged user in a certain area or time; specifically, the idle spectrum resources may be one or more of TV White Spaces (TVWS), GSM system idle spectrum resources, 3G (WCDMA/CDMA2000/TD-SCDMA) system idle spectrum resources, and LTE/LTE-a system idle spectrum resources.
Step 403, after the OAM obtains appropriate resources, allocating the resources to the DeNB, and using the DeNB as a target DeNB of the RN, sending an admission notification to the target DeNB, where the target DeNB configures according to the admission notification, and feeding back an acknowledgement message to the OAM after the configuration is completed;
and after receiving the admission preparation notice from the OAM, the target DeNB executes admission preparation. Specifically, the method comprises the steps that a target DeNB performs configuration according to pre-configuration information in an admission preparation notice sent by OAM, and resources are reserved for the RN; and after the target DeNB configuration is completed, feeding back a confirmation message to the OAM. The method can also comprise the following steps: and simultaneously starting a preset timer, and when the timer expires, the RN still does not access the target DeNB, and the target DeNB releases the resources reserved before.
Step 404, after receiving the confirmation message of the target DeNB, the OAM feeds back the pre-configuration information to the RN;
here, the preconfigured information of OAM feedback includes, but is not limited to: identification, working frequency point, bandwidth, emission parameter limit of the target DeNB, and relevant information of the target DeNB cell.
In step 405, the RN finds the target DeNB for access through the identifier of the target DeNB in the pre-configuration information from the OAM, and completes configuration according to the transmission parameter limit in the pre-configuration information, such as the allowed maximum transmission power, the antenna pitch angle, the direction, and the like.
