Abstract
本发明是一种可以成功地在各种非金属材料制品上电镀铜、银、金等金属的新型电镀技术。它是采用一种非金属制品上先涂覆一层抗蚀防水胶,再涂覆导电涂料,使制品表面形成一层导电层,然后直接进行电镀的方法。它可以在各种塑料、陶瓷、石膏、泥陶、水泥、砖瓦、石头、人造石等各种非金属制品上进行电镀,极大地拓宽了电镀应用的领域。
Description
本发明涉及一种新型的在非金属材料上电镀金属的工艺。
由于非金属材料品种繁多且价格便宜,因而人们对其电镀技术做了大量研究。但目前仅能在ABS塑料、聚甲醛塑料、玻璃钢等有限的几种非金属材料上电镀金属,而且工艺复杂,一般需进行脱脂、粗化、敏化、活化、解胶、化学镀、预镀、电镀等步骤。日本昭55-79871专利中介绍了用碳微粒或银、铜、镍粉有机粘合剂、有机溶剂混合后形成流动性悬浮液,涂覆在非金属材料上形成导电层,然后进行电镀的方法,另外,日本平1-301882专利中介绍了一种在非金属材料上涂覆防水涂料和导电涂料,干燥后再进行电镀的方法。以上所述的工艺方法中所存在的问题是,导电涂料很难与各种非金属材料都具有良好的附着力,因而不能保证在各种非金属上电镀出良好的金属镀层,此外其防水涂层的抗镀液浸蚀性不强,要求在电镀面积超过3-5平方分米时,就增加一个电极。
本发明的目的在于针对以上所述技术中的不足而提供一种能够在绝大部分非金属材料表面上电镀上优良金属的工艺方法,且方法简单,成本较低。
本发明的目的是通过以下措施来达到的,其非金属电镀工艺步骤为:在非金属材料上预涂覆抗蚀防水胶,它是苯乙烯类聚合物、溶剂的混合物,在该胶层上面再涂覆导电涂料,该材料是苯乙烯类聚合物、溶剂与微细铜粉的混合物,干燥之后用稀酸活化处理,再进行金属电镀。
以下将结合实施例对本发明作进一步的详述。
例1、在人造石(少量的树脂与大量滑石粉或水泥等细粉状非金属材料的混合物)制品上镀铜、镀金。
先将制品表面喷涂上一层抗蚀防水胶。抗覆防水胶是一种苯乙烯类聚合物与溶剂的混合物,在其未完全干燥时即喷涂导电涂料,该涂料是苯乙烯类聚合物、溶剂与微细铜粉的混合物,之后在50℃条件下干燥20分钟,冷却后再有3%的硫酸和少量洗涤剂的混合溶液活化处理,水洗后镀铜,在电流密度为3平方分米的条件下电镀30分钟,然后镀金。
例2、在吸水性较强的非金属材料,如石膏制品上进行酸性光亮镀铜,仿旧。
先将其制品浸涂三遍抗蚀防水胶,其配方与例1一样,然后喷涂导电涂料,其配方与例1一致。在60℃条件下烘干40分钟,冷却后直接进行酸性光亮镀铜,其电镀工艺均与例1一致。
以上两个实施例中的制品在金属电镀时,电镀面积在10-15平方分米以下的,可采用一个电极,大于10-15平方分米的,每增加10-15平方分米,需增加一个阳极接点。
Claims (2)
1、一种非金属电镀工艺,其特征在于:在非金属材料上预涂覆抗蚀防水胶,它是苯乙烯类聚合物、溶剂的混合物,在该胶层上面再涂覆导电涂料,该材料是苯乙烯类聚合物、溶剂与微细铜粉的混合物,干燥之后用稀酸活化处理,再进行金属电镀。
2、根据权利要求1所述的非金属电镀工艺,其特征在于:金属电镀时,电镀面积在10-15平方分米以下,可采用一个电极,大于10-15平方分米,每增加10-15平方分米,需增加一个阳极接点。
