本发明是一种润滑油添加剂以及含有该润滑油添加剂的润滑油组合物,所述润滑油添加剂的特征在于,含有用下述通式(1)表示的化合物作为必须成分。(在通式(1)中,R1、R3、R5和R7各自独立地表示碳原子数为1~20的烷基,R2、R4、R6和R8各自独立地表示氢原子或碳原子数为1~20的烷基,A表示碳原子数为2~20的烃基,n表示1~10的数)。

Description

润滑油添加剂及含有其的润滑油组合物
技术领域
本发明涉及作为添加剂用于润滑油中时,不会损害降低摩擦的效果、且能提高防磨损效果的润滑油添加剂和含有该润滑油添加剂的润滑油组合物。
背景技术
汽车和机床等机械类近年来正在向高功能化发展,对在所述机械类中使用的润滑油的性能的要求也在逐步提高。对于润滑油所要求的功能和效果是各种各样的,随着机械类的高速化和高压力化,也要求润滑油具有非常大的防磨损性能。为了防止磨损,通常在润滑油中作为添加剂添加防磨损剂,该防磨损剂是以往以来就已经公知的添加剂,通常通过磷类、硫类化合物或它们的组合来进行应对,防止机械类的磨损。
例如,在专利文献1中,公开了一种具有排气回流装置的发动机用柴油发动机油,其特征在于,相对于润滑油基油(矿物油、合成油),混合有5.8质量%~8.3质量%的具有总碱值(TBN)为165mgKOH/g的烷基水杨酸钙(钙(Ca)含量为6.0质量%)作为清洁剂;以锌(Zn)的质量%计,混合有0.09~0.13的伯烷基型二硫代磷酸锌作为抗氧化剂兼防磨损剂;以钼(Mo)的质量%计,混合有0.02~0.04的油溶性二烷基二硫代磷酸氧化钼作为摩擦调整剂兼防磨损剂。
此外,在专利文献2中,公开了一种由具有如下化学结构的组合物构成的低磷润滑剂用防磨损剂:

[其中,R和R’可以是氢或烷基,此时R和R’中的至少一个是烷基,其中,R”是烷基、R”’OCOCH2或R”’OCOCH2CH2(其中,R”’是烷基,且X是S)]。
此外,在专利文献3中,公开了一种超级拖拉机油通用润滑组合物,其特征在于,a)含有粘度指数至少为约95%、且通过添加剂成分调整了润滑粘度的油,所述添加剂成分包含i)至少一种金属清洁剂;ii)至少一种磷基防磨损剂;以及iii)至少一种油溶性钼化合物,b)基于润滑组合物总重量的金属含量(ppm)与润滑组合物的总碱值(mg KOH/g)之比为约210~约450(ppm/mg KOH/g),c)基于润滑组合物总重量的金属含量(ppm)与基于润滑组合物的总重量的磷含量(ppm)之比为约5.0~约20.0(ppm/ppm),此外,d)基于润滑组合物总重量的磷含量(ppm)与基于润滑组合物总重量的钼含量(ppm)之比为约0.5~约80.0(ppm/ppm)。
此外,近年来,期望更高的防磨损效果,例如,本申请人已经提出了一种技术方案,通过使用缩合磷酸酯,可以发挥比现有已知的磷类防磨损剂更好的防磨损效果。(日本专利申请特願2010-21022号)。

发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题
然而,专利文献1~3中记载的任一种防磨损剂在防磨损效果方面都不够,市场上要求效果更好的润滑油添加剂。
因此,本发明所要解决的问题是提供润滑油添加剂以及混合有该润滑油添加剂的润滑油组合物,所述的润滑油添加剂以及混合有该润滑油添加剂的润滑油组合物与现有已知的防磨损剂相比,防磨损效果更好、且摩擦降低效果也更好。
解决技术问题的技术方案
因此,本发明人进行了专心的研究,其结果完成了本发明。
即,本发明提供一种润滑油添加剂以及混合有该润滑油添加剂的润滑油组合物,所述润滑油添加剂的特征在于,含有用下述通式(1)表示的化合物作为必须成分:

发明的效果
本发明的效果是能够提供一种防磨损效果好、且摩擦降低效果也好的润滑油添加剂以及混合有该添加剂的润滑油组合物。
具体实施方式
本发明的润滑油添加剂的特征在于含有用下述通式(1)表示的化合物作为必须成分:

在通式(1)中,R1、R3、R5和R7各自独立地表示碳原子数为1~20的烷基,R2、R4、R6和R8各自独立地表示氢原子或碳原子数为1~20的烷基,作为该烷基,例如可以列举:甲基、乙基、丙基、异丙基、丁基、异丁基、仲丁基、叔丁基、戊基、戊基、异戊基、己基、庚基、异庚基、辛基、异辛基、2-乙基己基、壬基、异壬基、癸基、十二烷基(月桂基)、十三烷基、十四烷基(肉豆蔻基)、十五烷基、十六烷基(棕榈基)、十七烷基、十八烷基(硬脂基)、十九烷基、二十烷基等。R1、R3、R5和R7优选的是碳原子数为1~9的烷基,更优选的是碳原子数为1~5的烷基,特别优选的是甲基。另外,R2、R4、R6和R8优选的是碳原子数为1~9的烷基或氢原子,更优选的是碳原子数为1~5的烷基或氢原子,特别优选的是甲基或氢原子,最优选的是甲基。
在通式(1)中,A表示碳原子数为2~20的烃基,作为该基团,可以列举亚烷基、环亚烷基、含有一个以上亚芳基的烃基等。
作为亚烷基,可以列举亚乙基、亚丙基、亚丁基、亚戊基、亚己基、亚庚基、亚辛基、亚壬基、亚癸基、亚十一烷基、亚十二烷基、亚十四烷基、亚十六烷基、亚十八烷基、亚二十烷基等。
作为环亚烷基,例如可以列举环亚丙基、环亚丁基、环亚戊基、环亚己基、环亚庚基、环亚辛基、二环亚戊基、三环亚戊基等。
作为含有一个以上亚芳基的烃基,例如可以列举用通式(2)表示的基团、用通式(3)表示的基团、用通式(4)表示的基团、1,2-二苯基亚乙基、亚萘基等,在是通式(2)的基团的情况下,按照键合的部位,分为邻位体、间位体和对位体三种结构,可以是任意的结构,即使所述键合的部位不同,性能也不会变化。其中,由于防磨损效果高,因此优选的是A含有1个以上的芳基,更优选的是用通式(2)、通式(3)和通式(4)中的任一个表示的基团,特别优选的是用通式(2)表示的基团。

通式(1)中的n表示聚合度,为了能充分发挥本发明的润滑油添加剂的防磨损效果,n为1~10的数字,优选的是1~5的数字。另外,n的值可以根据高速液相色谱的测定结果计算出来。
在本发明的润滑油添加剂中,有时作为杂质会混入用通式(1)表示的化合物中的n为0的化合物、或n为11以上的化合物,这些物质的含量,优选的是相对于100质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂为10质量份以下,更优选的是相对于100质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂为5质量份以下,特别优选的是相对于100质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂为2质量份以下。如果超过10质量份,则本发明的润滑油添加剂的防磨损效果变低,因此是不优选的。
此外,根据用通式(1)表示的化合物的摩尔比计算出n的平均值、亦即平均聚合度,例如,当组成为n=1的化合物为50mol%、且n=2的化合物为50mol%时,则平均聚合度为1.5。
对用通式(1)表示的化合物的n的平均值、亦即平均聚合度没有特别的限制,为了提高防磨损效果,n的平均值、亦即平均聚合度优选的是1.0~4.0,更优选的是1.0~2.0。在超过4.0的情况下,存在有在基油中的溶解变得困难的情况,此外存在防磨损效果变低的情况,因此是不优选的。
另外,在混入有通式(1)中的n为0的化合物、n为11以上的化合物的情况下,在计算本发明润滑油添加剂的n的平均值、亦即平均聚合度时,并不包括这些化合物的n值。
作为制备用通式(1)表示的化合物的方法,可以使用公知方法中的任意的方法,可以通过以下的方法获得目标物。
方法1
在制备A由通式(2)表示,R1、R3、R5和R7为甲基,R2、R4、R6和R8为氢原子,且通式(1)中的n值为1~5的化合物的情况下,只要在将1mol的1,3-苯二酚与2mol的磷酰氯反应后,与4mol的甲酚反应即可。在该情况下,通过改变各原料的摩尔比,可以制备出n值不同的化合物,通常即使以某个摩尔比合成,如果不进行精制,则获得的是n值不同的化合物的混合物。
方法2
在制备A由通式(2)表示,R1、R3、R5和R7为甲基,R2、R4、R6和R8为氢原子,且通式(1)中的n值为1的化合物的情况下,通过使1mol的1,3-苯二酚与2mol的氯代磷酸二甲苯酯反应就可以获得。
本发明的润滑油组合物是相对于100质量份的基油,混合有0.01~10质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂的物质,优选的是混合有0.01~7质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂的物质,更优选的是混合有0.02~5质量份的本发明的润滑油添加剂的物质。如果混合量过少,则有时无法发挥作为防磨损剂的效果,如果混合量过多,则有时会出现不溶物,或有时无法获得与混合量相称的效果,因此是不优选的。
作为可以使用的基油,例如可以列举矿物油、合成油和它们的混合物,更具体地说,可以列举聚-α-烯烃、乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物、聚丁烯、烷基苯、烷基萘、聚亚烷基二醇、聚苯醚、烷基取代二苯醚、多元醇酯、芳香族酯、具有季戊四醇骨架的受阻酯、二元酸酯、碳酸酯、硅油、氟油、GTL(天然气制油)等合成油;石蜡类矿物油、环烷烃类矿物油或对它们进行精制后得到的精制矿物油类等。这些基油可以分别单独使用,也可以使用它们的混合物。在这些基油中,由于防磨损效果好,优选的是聚-α-烯烃、乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物、聚丁烯、烷基苯、烷基萘、芳香族酯、受阻酯、二元酸酯、石蜡类矿物油、环烷烃类矿物油和GTL,更优选的是聚-α-烯烃、芳香族酯、受阻酯、二元酸酯、石蜡类矿物油、环烷烃类矿物油和GTL,特别优选的是聚-α-烯烃、芳香族酯、二元酸酯、石蜡类矿物油和环烷烃类矿物油。
在使用聚-α-烯烃的情况下,该聚-α-烯烃是由选自碳原子数为8~20的α-烯烃中的至少一种得到的、在100℃下的动力粘度为1~300mm2/秒的物质。此外,作为优选的乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物是含有50~99质量%的量的由选自碳原子数为8~20的α-烯烃中的至少一种得到的结构单元以及1~50质量%的量的由乙烯得到的结构单元、且在100℃下的动力粘度为1~300mm2/秒的物质。此外,作为矿物油,更优选的是进行了氢化精制、溶剂脱沥青、溶剂萃取、溶剂脱蜡、接触脱蜡、氢解、硫酸清洗、白土处理等精制、且在100℃下的动力粘度为1~50mm2/秒的物质。如果基油在100℃下的动力粘度超过300mm2/秒,则低温粘度特性有时会恶化,在动力粘度不足1的情况下,在润滑部位形成的油膜不足,因此润滑性有时会恶化,金属磨损有时会增加,因而是不优选的。此外,在使用矿物油作为基油的情况下,粘度指数优选的是90以上,更优选的是100以上。
本发明的润滑油组合物中可以添加公知的润滑油添加剂,根据使用目的,可以在不损害本发明效果的范围内添加本发明以外的防磨损剂、摩擦调整剂、金属类清洁剂、无灰分散剂、抗氧化剂、摩擦降低剂、粘度指数提高剂、倾点下降剂、防锈剂、防腐蚀剂、极压添加剂、消泡剂、金属减活剂、乳化剂、抗乳化剂、防霉剂等。
作为本发明的润滑油添加剂以外的防磨损剂,例如可以列举硫化油脂、烯烃聚砜、二苄基砜等硫类添加剂;磷酸单辛酯、磷酸三丁酯、亚磷酸三苯酯、亚磷酸三丁酯、硫代磷酸酯等磷类化合物;硫代磷酸金属盐、硫代氨基甲酸金属盐、酸性磷酸酯金属盐、二硫代磷酸锌等有机金属化合物等。这些防磨损剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.01~3质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.05~2质量%。
作为所述摩擦调整剂,可以列举油醇、硬脂醇等高级醇类;油酸、硬脂酸等脂肪酸类;油酸甘油酯、硬脂酸甘油酯、月桂酸甘油酯等酯类;月桂酰胺、油酰胺、硬脂酰胺等酰胺类;月桂胺、油胺、硬脂胺、烷基二乙醇胺等胺类;月桂基甘油醚、油基甘油醚等醚类。这些摩擦调整剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.1~5质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.2~3质量%。
作为所述金属类清洁剂,例如可以列举钙、镁、钡等的磺酸、高铁酸、水杨酸、磷酸以及它们的高碱性盐(過塩基性塩)。其中,优选的是高碱性盐,在高碱性盐中,更优选的是TBN(总碱值)为30~500mgKOH/g的物质。这些金属类清洁剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.5~10质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为1~8质量%。
作为所述无灰分散剂,例如可以列举重均分子量为约500~3000的加成了烷基或烯基的琥珀酰亚胺、琥珀酸酯、苄基胺或它们的硼改性物等。这些无灰分散剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.5~10质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为1~8质量%。
作为所述的抗氧化剂,例如可以列举2,6-二叔丁基苯酚(以下将叔丁基简称为t-butyl。)、三{(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酰基-氧基乙基}异氰脲酸酯、三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)异氰脲酸酯、1,3,5-三(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苄基)异氰脲酸酯、1,3,5-三(4-叔丁基-3-羟基-2,6-二甲基苄基)异氰脲酸酯、6-(4-羟基-3,5-二叔丁基苯胺基)-2,4-二(辛基硫基)-1,3,5-三嗪、3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基-苄基磷酸二酯、3,9-二[1,1-二甲基-2-{β-(3-叔丁基-4-羟基-5-甲基苯基)丙酰氧基}乙基]-2,4,8,10-四氧杂螺[5,5]十一烷、1,1,3-三(2-甲基-4-羟基-5-叔丁基苯基)丁烷等酚类抗氧化剂、吩噻嗪、N-甲基吩噻嗪、N-乙基吩噻嗪、3,7-二辛基吩噻嗪、吩噻嗪羧酸酯、吩硒嗪等吩噻嗪类抗氧化剂等。所述抗氧化剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.01~5质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.05~4质量%。
作为所述摩擦降低剂,例如可以列举二硫代氨基甲酸硫化氧化钼、二硫代磷酸硫化氧化钼等有机钼化合物。这些摩擦降低剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油以钼含量计算为30~2000质量ppm,更优选的是相对于基油以钼含量计算为50~1000质量ppm。
作为所述粘度指数提高剂,例如可以列举聚(C1~18)烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯、羟基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯/(C1~18)烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯共聚物、二乙基氨基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯/(C1~18)烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯共聚物、乙烯/(C1~18)烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯共聚物、聚异丁烯、聚烷基苯乙烯、乙烯/丙烯共聚物、苯乙烯/马来酸酯共聚物、苯乙烯/异丁烯氢化共聚物等。此外,也可以使用能赋予分散性能的分散型或多功能型粘度指数提高剂。重均分子量为10000~1500000,优选的是20000~500000左右。所述粘度指数提高剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.1~20质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.3~15质量%。
作为所述倾点下降剂,例如可以列举聚烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚烷基苯乙烯、聚苯乙烯-(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯等,重均分子量为1000~100000,优选的是5000~50000左右。这些倾点下降剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.005~3质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.01~2质量%。
作为所述防锈剂,例如可以列举亚硝酸钠、氧化石蜡钙盐、氧化石蜡镁盐、牛脂脂肪酸碱金属盐、碱土类金属盐或胺盐、烯基琥珀酸或烯基琥珀酸半酯(烯基的分子量为100~300左右)、脱水山梨糖醇单酯、壬基苯酚乙氧基化物、羊毛脂脂肪酸钙盐等。这些防锈剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.01~3质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.02~2质量%。
作为所述防腐蚀剂,例如可以列举苯并***、苯并咪唑、苯并噻唑、苯并噻二唑、二硫化四烷基秋兰姆等。这些防腐蚀剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.01~3质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.02~2质量%。
作为消泡剂,例如可以列举聚二甲基硅氧烷、三氟丙基甲基硅氧烷、硅溶胶、聚烷基丙烯酸酯、聚烷基甲基丙烯酸酯、醇乙氧基化物/丙氧基化物、脂肪酸乙氧基化物/丙氧基化物、脱水山梨糖醇部分脂肪酸酯等。这些消泡剂的混合量,优选的是相对于基油为0.001~0.1质量%,更优选的是相对于基油为0.001~0.01质量%。
另外,作为润滑油添加剂,包含在抗氧化剂中的用下述通式表示的化合物除外:

只要是润滑油能够使用的用途,就可以将本发明的润滑油组合物用于任意的用途。作为所述的用途,例如可以列举机油、变速器用润滑油、齿轮油、透平油(タービン油)、液压油、冷冻机油、压缩机油、真空泵油、轴承油、滑动面油、凿岩机油(ロックドリル油)、金属切削油、塑性加工油、热处理油、润滑脂(グリース)、加工油等。
实施例
以下,通过实施例对本发明进行具体说明。另外,在以下的实施例中,除非有特别的记载,“%”和“ppm”是质量基准。
在试验中使用了以下的基油。
(P):使季戊四醇与异庚酸/正辛酸=1/1(摩尔比)反应,由此得到的酯化后的混合物
粘度指数:111;100℃下的动力粘度:5.8mm2/秒
(Q):市售的矿物油[新日本石油(株)ス-パ-オイルN22:石蜡类矿物油]
粘度指数:102;100℃下的动力粘度:4.4mm2/秒
(A-1):(P)/(Q)=1/9(质量比)的混合物
粘度指数:102;100℃下的动力粘度:4.5mm2/秒
以下,示出本发明的产品以及比较的产品的润滑油添加剂的合成例子:
合成例1<X-1>
在具有搅拌器、温度计、滴入漏斗、氮气导入管的1000ml四口烧瓶上,安装连接有水洗涤器的冷凝器,加入2.0mol(244g)的2,6-二甲基苯酚、和0.016mol(1.5g)的氯化镁,用氮气置换反应装置内的氛围,然后将温度升至120℃。在该温度下,用2小时滴入1.0mol(153g)的磷酰氯。在滴入结束后,用2小时升温至180℃,获得了二(2,6-二甲苯基)氯代磷酸酯。将烧瓶内冷却到20℃,在烧瓶内加入0.5mol(55g)的1,3-苯二酚和0.016mol(1.5g)的氯化镁,用2小时升温至180℃,老化2小时。然后,通过常规方法除去催化剂,在140℃进行减压干燥,获得了用下述通式(5)表示的X-1。

合成例2
在所述X-1的合成中,除了分别使用4-戊基苯酚或4-壬基苯酚代替2,6-二甲基苯酚以外,按照与X-1相同的制备方法进行制备,获得了用通式(5)或用通式(6)表示的、且用下述表1的平均聚合度表示的X-2和X-3。

在200ml烧杯中加入100.0g的基油、0.1质量份的润滑油添加剂,在90℃下搅拌1小时,在25℃下静置3小时,然后按照下述条件进行了摩擦试验和磨损试验。
[试验条件]
使用负荷变动型摩擦·磨损试验机(HEIDON TYPE:HHS2000,新东科学株式会社制造),对球在板上的来回运动的摩擦系数和试验后球的磨损痕径(mm)进行了比较。摩擦系数越小,则显示出耐摩擦性越高;
磨损痕径越小,则显示出耐磨损性越高。

比较例2与比较例1(没有添加时)相比,观察到摩擦系数的恶化,此外,比较例3显示出与比较例1相同的摩擦系数,没有观察到摩擦系数的改善,实施例1~实施例3体现出能够发挥防磨损性能而不会对摩擦系数产生坏的影响。

在所述通式(1)中,R1、R3、R5和R7各自独立地表示碳原子数为1~20的烷基,R2、R4、R6和R8各自独立地表示氢原子或碳原子数为1~20的烷基,A表示碳原子数为2~20的烃基,n表示1~10的数,n的平均值为1.06~2.0。
2.如权利要求1所述的润滑油添加剂,其特征在于,所述通式(1)中的A是用通式(2)表示的基团:

3.一种润滑油组合物,其特征在于,相对于100质量份的基油,含有0.01~10质量份的如权利要求1或2所述的润滑油添加剂。
4.如权利要求3所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述基油是选自聚-α-烯烃、乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物、聚丁烯、烷基苯、烷基萘、芳香族酯、受阻酯、二元酸酯、石蜡类矿物油、环烷烃类矿物油和GTL中的一种或两种以上。
5.如权利要求3或4所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述润滑油组合物还含有选自由通式(1)以外的防磨损剂、摩擦调整剂、金属类清洁剂、无灰分散剂、摩擦降低剂、粘度指数提高剂、倾点下降剂、防锈剂、防腐蚀剂和消泡剂组成的组中的一种或两种以上。
6.如权利要求3至5中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述润滑油组合物是机油、变速器用润滑油、齿轮油、透平油、液压油、冷冻机油、压缩机油、真空泵油、轴承油、滑动面油、凿岩机油、金属切削油、塑性加工油、热处理油、润滑脂或加工油。
