Abstract

燃料泵
技术领域
本发明涉及一种按权利要求1的前序部分所述的燃料泵。
背景技术
例如由文献DE 60202042T2已知上述类型的燃料泵。
燃料泵具有泵缸,在所述泵缸中可移动地支承或引导泵活塞。泵活塞通过一个或多个凸轮在泵缸中上下移动,借此燃料被吸入并在必要时由燃料泵通过中间存储装置(像输送管道)被输送到消耗设备、例如像燃料***的喷射阀。
例如在文献DE 103 45 061 A1中详细描述了用于燃料泵、特别是用于共轨燃料***的高压燃料泵的其它细节。
例如在文献DE 602 02 042 T2中描述的、由钢制成的泵活塞通常经过淬火并在必要时为了实现自润滑特性而进行制造工艺极为复杂的涂层。此外,由于硬质钢的变形和/或预先损害(由热处理造成的微小裂纹),例如会在支柱支脚或活塞支脚的区域中出现裂纹或断裂,这能够导致泵活塞、进而导致燃料泵的过早的机械故障。
发明内容
本发明的任务是提供一种按权利要求1的前序部分所述的、可利用更低的工艺成本进行制造的燃料泵。
该任务通过按权利要求1所述的燃料泵来实现,本发明的改进方案限定在从属权利要求中。
根据本发明提供一种燃料泵、特别是一种用于共轨燃料***的高压燃料泵,其具有金属泵缸和可在其中移动的金属泵活塞。按本发明所述的燃料泵的特征在于,泵活塞构造成无热处理的(尤其是无淬火和/或无调质)以及无涂层的(尤其是无抗摩擦涂层和/或无淬火涂层)。
替代地或者附加地,泵活塞构造成:没有为了加强表面淬火而进行如气体渗氮或碳化(Karbonieren)的表面处理。
通过省略各种热处理以及涂层和/或省略各种为了加强表面淬火而进行的表面处理,显著降低了用于制造泵活塞、进而用于制造燃料泵的制造工艺成本。
泵活塞至少部分地,但优选完全由支承材料制成。
由于支承材料的韧性比钢材更大,支承材料避免了如在开头所述的由于变形和/或预先损害(微小裂纹)而可能出现裂纹或断裂的缺点,并且该支承材料在使用燃料泵的情况下除了具有足够的强度外,还具有比钢材更好的自润滑特性。因此,支承材料将涂层的期望的功能与足够的强度结合起来,在没有应用热处理和涂层的情况下甚至实现了更好的功能和强度。因此,如此构造的燃料泵替代地或者附加地具有以下优点:即更低的制造工艺成本、更低的失效概率或者说更长的使用寿命以及更好的自润滑特性。
按本发明所述的支承材料由合金,即由两种金属的混合物构成,其中支承材料由塑性合金或铜合金构成。
塑性合金受到其制造的限制还有利地具有更高的韧性,借此可以更可靠地避免裂纹和断裂。
在支承材料由铜合金构成的情况下,支承材料优选由铜铝合金或铜锌合金构成。
铜铝合金和铜锌合金除了具有足够的自润滑特性之外,还具有特别适合高负载的、相对高的强度。
在本发明的意义中的其它支承材料(按照期望的强度和自润滑特性)例如能够是铸铅合金、铸锌合金、铜铅锌铸造合金以及具有片状石墨的铸铁。
本发明也明确地涉及到这些不由权利要求的具体引用关系中的特征组合得出的实施方式,对此本发明公开的特征,只要其对于工艺而言是有意义的,就可任意地相互进行组合。

图1示出了根据本发明的燃料泵的示意性的剖面图。
具体实施方式
如图1所示,根据本发明的燃料泵1在这此优选构造为共轨燃料***的高压燃料泵(未完全示出),所述燃料泵具有泵缸10以及在泵缸10的凹槽11中可移动地支承或者说引导的泵活塞20。
泵活塞20通过至少一个布置在旋转驱动的轴30上的凸轮31进行控制,从而可在泵缸10中上下移动,其中燃料通过泵活塞20的向下移动,经过在泵缸10中构造的燃料通道12被吸入到不被泵活塞20占据的区域或者说泵缸10的凹槽11的泵室11a中,并且吸入的燃料通过泵活塞20的向上移动,经过燃料通道12和未示出的中间存储设备(例如这里是输送管道)朝向未示出的消耗设备、例如燃料***的喷油阀输送。
有关燃料的吸入和输送的控制装置以及燃料泵1的机械设计方案的其它示例性的细节例如在文献DE 10345061A1中进行说明。
根据本发明,泵缸10由例如钢的金属制成。可在泵缸10中移动地引导的泵活塞20同样也由金属制成,其中泵活塞20构造成无热处理的(尤其是无淬火和/或无调质)以及无涂层的(尤其是无抗摩擦涂层(Gleitbeschichtung)和/或无淬火涂层)。
替代地或者附加地,泵活塞20没有为了加强表面淬火而进行如气体渗氮或碳化(Karbonieren)的表面处理。
通过省略各种热处理以及涂层和/或省略各种为了加强表面淬火而进行的表面处理,显著降低了用于制造泵活塞20、进而用于制造燃料泵1的制造工艺的成本。
附加地,泵活塞20至少在与凸轮31共同作用的支柱支脚21(Stempelfuβ)的区域中、但是优选完全(即整个从支柱支脚21到活塞头22)由支承材料制成。
支承材料具有相对高的韧性,并因此避免了由于变形和/或预先损害(微小裂纹)而在直接或通过可旋转支承的滚子(没有在图上示出)以及必要时通过其它连接件与凸轮31共同作用的支柱支脚21上发生的裂纹或断裂。
此外,支承材料除了对于燃料泵1的使用情况来说具有足够的强度,还对于缺少润滑(例如燃料中的水)的情况具有足够的自润滑特性,从而在缺少润滑时也可靠地避免了:例如完全由支承材料制成的泵活塞20卡在泵缸10的凹槽11中。
支承材料将涂层的期望的功能和足够的强度结合起来,并且在不使用制造工艺成本更高并可能造成裂纹或断裂的热处理和涂层的情况下,支承材料也可实现涂层的期望的功能与足够的强度。
因此,按本发明所述的燃料泵1除了具有降低制造工艺成本的优点之外,还具有更低的失效概率或者说更长的使用寿命以及更好的自润滑特性的优点。
根据本发明,泵活塞20的支承材料由合金、即两种金属的混合物构成。泵活塞20的支承材料优选由塑性合金构成,该材料受其制造限制还具有更高的韧性,由此可以更加可靠地避免裂纹和断裂。
根据本发明的实施方式,泵活塞20的支承材料由铜合金构成。泵活塞20的支承材料优选由铜铝合金或由铜锌合金构成,其除了具有足够的自润滑特性外还具有特别适合高负载的、相对高的强度。
在本发明意义中的其它可用于泵活塞20的支承材料(按照期望的强度和自润滑特性)例如能够是铸铅合金、铸锌合金、铜铅锌铸造合金以及具有片状石墨的铸铁。

1.燃料泵(1),尤其是高压燃料泵,其具有金属泵缸(10)和可在其中移动地引导的金属泵活塞(20),其特征在于,所述泵活塞(20)是由无热处理的和无涂层的支承材料制成的,其中所述支承材料是由塑性合金或铜合金形成的。
