Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种由能选择性发光的同心圆环构成的光学显示元件。
背景技术
该显示元件用于相似数值的直观识别性显示,例如显示车辆的功能状况。若需要较好的分辨率则要求邻近的同心圆环彼此间径向距离必须较小。通过常规技术,例如运用激光器或者印刷从油漆层中进行拉烧(Herausbrennen)以及使用基本光导体照射单个圆环,由于不同公差的叠加都不能实现将径向距离降至0.4mm以下。
发明内容
本发明实现了一种由能选择性发光的同心圆环构成的光学显示元件,该元件的径向距离可达到仅为约0.2mm或者更小。依据本发明的光学显示元件中的同心圆环由每个光导体的光射出面形成,该光导体配有光射入面,该光射入面将光从其所属一个选择性激活的光源导入,其中,与光射出面相比,光射入面相对于这个公共轴线具有更大的径向延伸,且光导体具有直接径向毗邻的遮光侧面。光导体通过此构造可独立决定同心圆环的几何形状。由于能够十分精确地制造光导体,因此可以实现理想的较小公差。

具体实施方式
图1示出一种由多个能选择性发光的,围绕共同轴心12的同心圆环14构成的光学显示元件10。能发光圆环14之间的径向距离分别为0.2mm。
图2示出光学显示元件10沿径向切面的剖面图。同心的能发光的圆环14的共同轴心12显示于附图的左侧。至少部分透明的薄膜16构成该光学显示元件10的表面。在薄膜16下方有多个同心的环状光导体18,它们分别具有朝向薄膜16的光射出面20和远离薄膜16的光射入面22,该光射出面分别形成了能发光的圆环14。
光导体18的光射入面22将所属的,选择性激活光源24发出的光导入光导体18。不同光导体18的光射入面22位于同一平面,光源24设置在光射入面22对面不远的同一电路板26上。
光导体18通过光障28来屏蔽邻近光导体18的光源24所发出的光。
光射出面20将光源24发出并经光导体18传送的光导入至少部分透明的薄膜16,这样光学显示元件10所属的圆环14被照亮。
与光射出面20相比,光导体18的光射入面22相对于共同轴心12具有更大的径向延伸。侧面30连接了光射出面20与光射入面22,该侧面并具有遮光性设计,例如通过侧面30区域中的全反射而获得的折射率变化或者通过侧面30上的涂层32,特别是通过物理气相分离或者涂漆。
光导体18的侧面30向光射入面22发散,其中外侧光导体18的侧面30发散强于内侧光导体18的侧面30。
光导体18的遮光侧面30直接径向毗邻,借此光导体18独立决定同心圆环14的几何形状。由于能够十分精确的制造光导体,因此可以实现理想的较小公差。
靠近光射出面20处,相邻的侧面30之间分别有楔形缝隙34,由它来决定能发光的圆环14的径向距离。根据该缝隙34,相邻的能发光的圆环14之间的径向距离可达到0.1至0.3mm。

Claims (9)

1.一种由多个能选择性发光的围绕一共同轴心(12)的同心圆环(14)构成的光学显示元件(10),这些圆环分别由一个光导体(18)的光射出面(20)形成,该光导体具有光射入面(22),该光射入面将分配给它的能选择性地激活的光源(24)的光导入,其中与光射出平面(20)相比,光射入面(22)相对于该共同轴心(12)具有更大的径向延伸,且光导体(18)具有直接径向毗邻的遮光的侧面(30)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光学显示元件(10),其中所述光导体(18)的光射入面(22)位于同一平面,并且光源(24)设置在电路板(26)上,该电路板紧挨着地间隔开地位于光射入面(22)对面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的光学显示元件(10),其中光导体(18)通过光障(28)屏蔽相邻光导体(18)的光源(24)的光。
4.根据权利要求1所述的光学显示元件(10),其中在光导体(18)上光射出面(20)通过发散至光射入面(22)的侧面(30)与光射入面(22)连接。
5.根据权利要求4所述的光学显示元件(10),其中外侧光导体(18)的侧面(30)发散强于内侧光导体(18)的侧面(30)。
6.根据权利要求4所述的光学显示元件(10),其中光导体(18)以侧面(30)直接彼此相邻,并且与光射出面(20)邻近地,相邻的侧面(30)之间分别保留楔形缝隙(34),该楔形缝隙决定能发光的圆环(14)的径向距离。
7.根据权利要求6所述的光学显示元件(10),其中相邻的能发光的圆环(14)之间的径向距离在0.1mm至0.3mm之间。
8.根据权利要求7所述的光学显示元件(10),其中相邻的能发光的圆环(14)之间的径向距离约为0.2mm。
9.根据权利要求1所述的光学显示元件(10),其特征在于,光导体(18)的侧面(30)具有遮光的涂层(32)。
