Abstract

The invention discloses a method for controlling data code rate in a wireless video conferencing system, which comprises the following steps: when data code rate is required to be adjusted, transmitting a request message for adjusting the data code rate to a conference control system by a mobile terminal; after the conference control system receives the request message, determining the mobile terminal to support the data code rate requested in the request message and transmitting a signalling for altering the data code rate to the mobile terminal; and after receiving the signalling, adjusting own unloading data code rate by the mobile terminal according to the target data code rate in the signalling. The invention also discloses a system for controlling the data code rate in the wireless video conferencing system. Technical Field

Background
The wireless video conference system is a brand new video conference mode established on a wireless communication network and a fixed video conference system. when the matching is determined not to be possible, sending a signaling without the right to adjust the data code rate to the mobile terminal;
step 203: the conference control system sends a signaling for changing the data code rate to the mobile terminal;

when the requested data code rate is smaller than the maximum data code rate, the target data code rate is equal to the requested data code rate; when the requested data code rate is slightly larger than the maximum data code rate, the target data code rate is equal to the maximum data code rate;
step 204: and after receiving the signaling, the mobile terminal adjusts the uploading data code rate according to the target data code rate in the signaling.
Step 205: and after the mobile terminal finishes adjusting the uploaded data code rate, sending a switching completion message to the conference control system, and ending the current processing flow.
Based on the above method, the present invention further provides a system for controlling data rate in a wireless video conference system, as shown in fig. 3, including a mobile terminal 31 and a conference control system 32; wherein,

The mobile terminal 31 is further configured to send a switching completion message to the conference control system 32 after adjusting the uploaded data code rate;
