紧急情况准备计划的另一方面是供应必要的补给。根据具体的情形,应急补给包的要素典型地包括水、食物、电池供电的收音机和手电筒及额外的电池、急救补给、换洗衣服、毛毯或睡袋、个人卫生物品、哨子等。

发明内容
本发明的各方面解决了这些问题以及其它问题。

AAA尺寸触头622定位在第一凹腔628中,该第一凹腔628具有比AAA-尺寸电池的径向尺寸更大,但比AA-尺寸电池的径向尺寸更小的径向尺寸。更具体地说,对于所示的实施例,拱形肩630沿纵向方向113朝着手电筒尾部而延伸。因而,当AAA-尺寸电池容纳在电池座402中时,其末端容纳在凹腔628中,使得肩部630约束AAA-尺寸电池的径向运动。

还应该注意,正极电池触头622,624,626在相应的极性保护凹腔640,642,644中更进一步凹进,极性保护凹腔的深度大于正极电池端子的小块(nubbin)的长度。因此,凹腔640,642,644提供了极性保护,以防将电池408以不正确的极性***到电池座402中。在所示的实施例中,极性保护凹腔642由肩部630中的间隙形成。极性保护凹腔644同样由肩部634中的间隙形成。
AAA-尺寸正极触头622和负极触头602通过引线(例如穿过触头座410的主体而延伸的铆钉)被电连接。AA-尺寸和C-尺寸电池触头被类似地连接。注意,在所示的实施例中,用于具有不同尺寸的电池的电池触头在中间触头座410处没有被电连接(例如在AAA-尺寸电池触头和AA-尺寸电池触头之间没有电连接,诸如此类)。如果具有不同尺寸的电池406,408同时容纳在电池座402中,这种连接的缺失防止了电路的完成并因而防止了手电筒100的工作,因为这种条件下的工作通常被认为是不期望的。

通过例如用O形环或其它合适的密封件、超声焊接技术等密封各种接头,手电筒还可构造成是防水的。
现在将参照图10描述手电筒100中电池406,408的去除和安装。
在步骤1002,用户打开电池容纳区域盖子。例如在上述的实施例中,用户拧开尾盖106。

在手电筒100包括用于容纳备急信息120的小袋的情况下,可在步骤1104将信息安置到小袋中。
用户在步骤1106操作手电筒100。在所示的实施例中,手电筒100发出手电筒光束,该手电筒光束可用于执行第一照明任务功能。
沿手电筒100径向方向发射的光可同时用作信号装置或另外在步骤1108提供发送信号功能。例如,用户可使主要手电筒光束指向第一方向以完成所需任务,摇动它等。径向发射的光可有助于吸引第三方(例如家庭或团体成员或可能的救援者)的注意。
在步骤1110,用户还可使用哨子144作为可听信号装置。
在步骤1112,用户还可使用反射器116作为信号装置。
在这点上,应该注意的是,可同时执行其中一些或全部发送信号的功能。因而,例如,用户可在打开手电筒的同时使用哨子144,因而使用手电筒来同时执行任务功能、视觉信号功能和可听信号功能。如果手电筒关闭或者电池406,408放完电,反射器116同样可以使用。
在步骤1114,用户可可选地使绳索136脱离钩子140,并将手电筒悬挂在所需位置。
设想了多种变体和备选例。如上面提到的,例如,手电筒可构造成容纳不同数量和尺寸的电池,在这种情况下,触头支架544,410,564和电池座402以及其它必要构件将被恰当地重新构造。在手电筒同时容纳三(3)个或更多电池的情况下,还可提供另外的中间触头支架410。
手电筒100还可根据例如容纳在手电筒100中的电池的尺寸而构造成包括多个电路。根据一种这样的实施方式,通过定位在接线柱529(见图5)处的附加弹簧可提供附加的电气路径。
还可提供其它备急信息120。例如,备急清单可包括典型地在露营、狩猎、捕鱼、划船或其它旅行时所需要的补给列表。例如在露营旅行的情况下,清单可包括所需的许可证或通行证和/或其它露营装备。在狩猎、捕鱼、划船或其它旅行的情况下还可提供类似的信息。根据一种实施方式,例如通过在组装时选择和安装恰当信息,可生产若干种形式的手电筒100。例如,在手电筒包括套筒120的情况下,可以若干种形式生产套筒,并依据所需的备急信息而选择所需的形式。
可听信号装置不限于哨子,并可包括例如喇叭、蜂鸣器、报警器、汽笛或其它应急装置或其它信号装置,其中发出普遍被认为是遇险信号的声音的装置是优选的。
还设想了手电筒100的外壳的其它构造。此外,手电筒100可具有通常圆柱形形状因素之外的形状因素。实际上,该装置并不限于手电筒或收音机,而可以是另一电池供电装置。
现在提供各种非限制性的实施例。
1.一种电池供电装置,包括:

同时利用由所述装置沿第二方向发射的光来执行第三方视觉信号功能。
26.根据权利要求19至25中的任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述装置包括光源和应急声源,并且操作所述装置包括:
利用所述光源来执行任务照明功能;
利用所述应急声源执行第三方可听信号功能。
27.一种电池供电的手电筒(100),包括:
电池容纳区域,其容纳具有至少第一电池尺寸和第二电池尺寸的电池,以给所述手电筒供电;
至少以下一种提示:提示用户提供紧急联系信息的提示和提示用户获得补给的提示。
28.根据权利要求27所述的电池供电的手电筒,其特征在于,所述手电筒(100)包括提示用户获得用于应急的补给的提示。
29.根据权利要求28所述的电池供电的手电筒,其特征在于,所述提示提示用户获得用于应急的食物和水。
