Abstract
本发明提供一种透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,该组成物是由黏合剂100phr(Parts per Hundred of Resin每百份树脂所用的份数)、溶剂50~400phr、发泡剂50~300phr、碳化剂10~200phr、碳化促进剂1~100phr、辅助添加剂0~100phr所组成。其中碳化促进剂是一种带有反应官能基的含磷化合物。本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物形成的涂层,在受热时几乎无烟,又能迅速生成一种高坚韧度的膨胀层,此膨胀层不仅不易龟裂、不会熔融、不会滴垂,还可有效阻隔氧气及热量达到防火效果。本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其组份间的兼容性很好,且分散性佳,形成优越的透明性,可应用在各种建筑、家具或装潢的防火,不会破坏其原本外观的风貌。
Description
技术领域
本发明关于一种透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,该组成物形成的涂层,在受热时几乎无烟,又能迅速生成一种高坚韧度、不易龟裂、不会熔融、不会滴垂的膨胀层,可有效阻隔氧气及热量,达到防火效果;且该涂料各组份间的兼容性很好,且分散性佳,形成优越的透明性,可应用在各种建筑、家具或装潢的防火,不会破坏其原本外观的风貌。
背景技术
由于全球经济成长快速,建筑业蓬勃迅速发展,所使用的建筑材料或装潢材料,以木材及高分子材料为大宗,但一般这类材料皆为易燃品,当火灾发生时,火焰迅速蔓延,一发不可收拾。近年来人们对防火观念提升及建筑物防火要求逐渐重视,因此防火建筑材料与防火装潢材料的需求更加强烈,选择具有防焰性及耐燃性的材料,可有效避免火灾发生时,火焰迅速蔓延,造成人员逃生不及而发生更大灾难及遗憾。
防火建材依据应用形式分为防火涂料及防火板(包括防火合板、防火角材、防火板);防火涂料为一种涂布于可燃性材料(如木材、塑料)的表面形成涂膜,而当该涂膜曝露于火焰中时,可以拖延着火及减低火焰蔓延的液状物。防火涂料也可以使用于混凝土块或钢材等不燃性基材上,可降低该基材本身的温度上升,引起结构破坏、变形及毁损。
目前防火涂料又分为非发泡型防火涂料及发泡型防火涂料,非发泡型防火涂料具有抑制燃烧作用,而发泡型防火涂料除了抑制燃烧外还兼具隔热作用。非发泡型防火涂料含有高比率的添加剂,例如含有卤素(氯、溴)化合物、无机粉体(氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁)的添加剂,当涂膜暴露于火焰时会产生一种不燃性气体。发泡型防火涂料则含有发泡剂及碳化剂(carbonization agent),当涂膜暴露于火焰时会产生碳化与发泡膨胀,形成导热性很小的焦碳膨胀层,阻隔火焰及延缓基材温度上升。
例如中国台湾专利公告419514,为发泡型防火涂料,其中使用聚磷酸胺为碳化促进剂,防火性不足,另外使用膨胀性石墨来增加焦碳膨胀层的强度及韧性,但是添加石墨会造成涂料成黑色,将造成涂部基材不仅失去原来风貌,表面成黑色不美观。
例如中国台湾专利公告499469,是以水性含磷环氧树脂及三聚氰胺,再辅以异戊四醇,为发泡型防火涂料,但其中三种组份之间兼容性不好,涂料呈白色不透明。
例如美国专利5225464,为一种水性膨胀防火涂料,其是以磷酸、三聚氰胺、磷酸胺、异戊四醇,其中使用磷酸胺为碳化促进剂,因耐燃效果不佳,另外加上氯化合物,预期得到改良的膨胀涂料,但其主要缺点是含有卤素(氯),无法符合环保要求。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于,提供一种透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,该组成物形成的涂层,在受热时几乎无烟,又能迅速生成一种高坚韧度、不易龟裂、不会熔融、不会滴垂的焦碳膨胀层,可有效阻隔氧气及热量达到防火效果。本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其组份间的兼容性很好,且分散性佳,形成优越的透明性,可应用在各种建筑、家具或装潢的防火,不会破坏其原本外观的风貌。
为达上述目的,本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,是由黏合剂100phr(Parts per Hundred of Resin每百份树脂所用的份数)、溶剂50~400phr、发泡剂50~300phr、碳化剂10~200phr、碳化促进剂(carbonization promotor)1~100phr、辅助添加剂0~100phr所组成,依涂层要求的特性及防火效果做适当的调整。
本发明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物所采用的黏合剂为有机高分子树脂,包括乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)树脂、压克力树脂、聚氨酯(PU)树脂、环氧树脂、尿素树脂和三聚氰胺树脂,依涂层要求的特性来作选用。
本发明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物所采用的溶剂,主要的作用为调整涂料的适当黏度,以方便于粉刷涂布、喷涂涂布等的施工性,包括水、乙醇、异丙醇、甲苯、二甲苯、丙酮、甲乙酮、环己酮、乙酸乙酯及乙酸丁酯,必须配合黏合剂的溶解特性来选择,可选择单一种或多种混合来使用。
本发明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物所采用的发泡剂为含氮化合物,包括二氰二酰胺(dicyandiamide)、三聚氰胺及尿素,其作用为受热时,会产生惰性气体(N2),使焦碳层膨胀增加防火隔热效果,可选择一种或多种添加,原则上需与其它组份兼容性佳,不影响涂料透明性。
本发明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物所采用的碳化剂为多元醇类,包括异戊四醇、二异戊四醇、三异戊四醇、丙三醇、乙二醇、环己二醇、淀粉及糖类,其为焦碳层生成原料,可选择一种或多种添加,原则上需与其它组份兼容性佳,不影响涂料透明性。
本发明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物所采用的碳化促进剂,为带有反应官能基的含磷化合物,包括含磷硅酸酯(phosphorus containing silicate)、含磷硼酸酯(phosphorus containing borate)、含磷锌酸酯(phosphoruscontaining zincate)、含磷钛酸酯(phosphorus containing titanate)或含磷异氰酸酯(phosphorus containing isocyanate),其不仅是在受热时可促进碳化剂脱水形成焦碳层,还可以增加焦碳层的坚韧度,使焦碳层不易龟裂,有效提高防火机制。另外还可减少防火涂料涂布后,涂膜成形的硬化所需的时间,大大缩短涂布加工时程,尤其是需要多道(次)施工时。使用带有反应官能基的碳化促进剂,可以改善传统膨胀型防火涂料,其焦碳层蓬松韧性差,容易在暴露火源环境中,受到扰动而龟裂甚至破坏,降低防火效果的缺点。
本发明所采用的带有反应官能基的含磷化合物,其可由含磷化合物,分别与硅酸酯、硼酸酯、锌酸酯、钛酸酯或异氰酸酯反应而得,其中含磷化合物包括聚磷酸胺、磷酸胺、亚磷酸胺、偏磷酸胺、焦磷酸胺、正磷酸、偏磷酸、三聚磷酸、亚磷酸、磷酸二氢铵、磷酸氢铵、三聚氰胺焦磷酸或磷酸胍尿素;也可由市面上直接获得。
本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物可另外使用辅助添加剂,依涂料的特殊需求来添加,例如增加耐燃机制的纳米黏土(nano-clay)、纳米云母(nano-mica),例如需抗菌防霉的纳米银(nano-silver)、纳米二氧化钛(nano titanium oxide)、有机抗菌剂,原则上需与其它组份兼容者佳,不影响其透明性。
本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,为不含卤素且透明的环保防火涂料,可以任何施工方式披覆于欲达到防火效能的易然物或不燃物表面,不会改变原来外观的颜色及风貌。
举例而言,利用空气式喷枪喷涂于原木家具表面,不仅可达到防火耐燃效果,原木的树纹能清晰可见,颜色不变,完全不会破坏原木的原本高尚风貌。
本发的明透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,利用带有反应官能基的含磷化合物为碳化促进剂,于溶剂存在下,将黏合剂、发泡剂和碳化剂键结在一起,可使涂膜成形所需的硬化时间缩短、改善涂膜物性,当涂膜受热时几乎无烟,又能迅速生成一种高坚韧度、不易龟裂、不会熔融、不会滴垂的焦碳膨胀层,可更有效阻隔氧气及热量,可达到更佳的防火效果。

配制方法
将上述配方原料的发泡剂、碳化剂,必要时使用辅助添加剂,与溶剂在室温下充分混合分散后,再加入碳化促进剂混合均匀,最后加入黏合剂混合而成。
测试方法1
依上述的配方原料依序混合调制成防火涂料,以刮刀刮涂于20cm×20cm×0.45cm的三合板表面,然后置于空气中25℃~30℃成形硬化,纪录硬化所需时间如表5,硬化后涂膜厚度约为1.0mm,观察并纪录外观如表6。
待涂膜硬化后利用丁烷火焰喷灯(约1000℃)直吹三合板燃烧测试,喷灯口与三合板距离约8cm,测试至三合板烧穿,观察并纪录情形如表7。
1.量测涂膜成形硬化所需时间(如表5)。
2.观察纪录涂膜成形硬化后外观(如表6)。
3.观察纪录三合板燃烧状况(如表7)。

测试方法2
依实施例一、二的配方原料依序混合调制成防火涂料,以空气式喷枪喷涂于20cm×20cm×0.15cm的钢板表面,然后置于空气中25℃~30℃成形硬化,硬化后涂膜厚度为1.0mm。待涂膜硬化后利用丁烷火焰喷灯(约1000℃)直吹钢板燃烧测试,喷灯口与钢板距离约8cm,钢板背面以红外线温度计量测温度,纪录如表8。(此红外线温度计的温度显示上限450℃)

其中:对照组为未涂布防火涂料的钢板。
由以上测试结果,本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,可有效缩短涂膜成形硬化所需时间,且当受热时能迅速生成一种高坚韧度、不易龟裂、不会熔融、不会滴垂的焦碳膨胀层,可有效达到更佳的防火效果。
本发明的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,为不含卤素且透明的环保防火涂料,可以任何涂布方式施工,如毛刷刷涂、喷枪喷涂、刮刀刮涂或滚轮滚涂,涂布后涂膜成形硬化时间短,又不会改变基材原来外观的颜色及风貌,且防火效果又佳。举例而言,利用空气式喷枪喷涂于原木家具表面,不仅可达到防火耐燃效果,原木的树纹能清晰可见,颜色不变,完全不会坏原木的原本高尚风貌,为一项具有产业利用性的发明。
Claims (7)
1、一种透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,共包括:
黏合剂 100phr、
溶剂 50~400phr、
发泡剂 50~300phr、
碳化剂 10~200phr、
碳化促进剂 1~100phr、
辅助添加剂 0~100phr,
其特征在于:该碳化促进剂是一种带有反应官能基的含磷化合物,其可为含磷硅酸酯、含磷硼酸酯、含磷锌酸酯、含磷钛酸酯或含磷异氰酸酯。
2、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:其中黏合剂可为乙酸乙烯酯树脂、压克力树脂、聚氨酯树脂、环氧树脂、尿素树脂或三聚氰胺树脂。
3、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:其中溶剂可为水、乙醇、异丙酮、甲苯、二甲苯、丙酮、甲乙酮、环己酮、乙酸乙酯或乙酸丁酯。
4、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:其中发泡剂可为二氰二酰胺、三聚氰胺或尿素。
5、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:其中碳化剂可为异戊四醇、二异戊四醇、三异戊四醇、丙三醇、乙二醇、环己二醇、淀粉或糖类。
6、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:其中辅助添加剂可为纳米黏土、纳米云母、纳米银或纳米二氧化钛。
7、如权利要求1所述的透明无卤素防火涂料组成物,其特征在于:作为木材、塑料、混凝土块及钢材的防火涂料的应用。
