Description

Method and system for processing quality of service parameters
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method and a system for processing qos parameters.
Background
With the development of the IP (Internet Protocol) technology, in order to meet the requirement of users on the Quality of Service (QoS) of packet Networks, Next Generation Networks (NGN) are proposed.
Based on packet technology, NGN adopts the techniques of mutual separation of service layer and transport layer, mutual separation of application and service control, and mutual separation of transport control and transport, and can support various existing access techniques, provide services of voice, data, video, stream media, etc., and can support various services on the existing mobile network, implement the integration of fixed network and mobile network, and according to the requirements of users, ensure the service quality of user services.
Fig. 1 is a structural architecture diagram of an NGN architecture, as shown in fig. 1, the NGN architecture mainly includes a network access control portion, a resource control portion, a transmission portion, a service control portion, and a user terminal/user network portion, and the following briefly introduces the components and functions of each portion:
the Network access Control part is used for providing information such as registration, authentication authorization, address allocation, parameter configuration, location management and the like for a user terminal/user Network accessed to the NGN Network, and the Network access Control part can be a Network Attachment Subsystem (NAS for short) in TISPAN NGN and a Network Attachment Control function entity (NACF for short) in the ITU-T NGN.
The Resource Control part is used for completing Admission Control and Resource reservation when the user terminal/user network accesses the network based on the Policy and the network Resource state, and the Resource Control part may include a Resource Admission Control Subsystem (RACS for short) in TISPAN NGN, a medium Resource Admission Control Function (RACF for short) in the ITU-T NGN, and a Policy and charging Rules Function (PCRF for short) in the 3GPP mobile network.
A transfer part, configured to complete information transfer, where the transfer part may be a Transfer Processing Function (TPF) in the tispan NGN, a Transfer Function (TF) in the ITU-T NGN, and a Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF) in the 3GPP mobile network.
The Service Control part belongs to a part of a Service layer and is used for completing registration, authentication authorization and resource Control on a Service layer, and the Service Control part can be TISPAN NGN Service Control Subsystems (SCS for short), ITU-TNGN Service Control Functions (SCF for short), and IMS (IMS for short) in a 3GPP mobile network.
User terminal/user network part: for providing Network access functions to users, such as TISPAN NGN and (Customer preferences Equipment, abbreviated as CPE)/(Customer preferences Network, abbreviated as CPN) in ITU-T NGN, mobile terminal/wireless side in 3GPP mobile networks.
The NGN includes different users and different services, where different users may have different security requirements and quality of service requirements, the same user may also have different security requirements and quality of service requirements for different services, and even the same user may also have different security requirements and quality of service requirements for the same service in different application environments.
When a legal user terminal/user network uses the NGN, in order to ensure the service quality, the resource control part will make admission control and network resource reservation decisions according to the service request (including parameters such as service priority, service bandwidth requirement) and the network resource status information, but the influence of security measures on the service quality is not considered in the process. In fact, the security measures and the service quality are mutually influenced, and if the service quality has no security measures to prevent various attacks, network congestion is caused; on the other hand, the implementation of the security measures also requires the use of certain network resources, and if the impact of the security measures is not considered during resource allocation, the service quality may be significantly affected, for example, the time delay of the processing procedure may be increased by the authentication or encryption process. However, when the current resource control part makes admission control and resource allocation decisions, the impact of security measures on the service quality is not considered, so the obtained conclusion may not meet the requirement of the service quality.
