Description

铣刀和可转位切削刀片
技术领域
本发明涉及一种根据附加的独立权利要求前序部分所述的、用于排屑机加工的铣刀和可转位切削刀片。
以前已知一种大体上长方形的铣削刀片,其具有两个起作用的切削刀片角部,所述切削刀片角部对角地设置在切削刀片的主表面上。主切削刃沿切削刀片的长边延伸,而副切削刃沿着铣削刀片的短边延伸。由于铣削刀片具有两个起作用的切削刀片角部,所以其可转位两次。
以前还已知一种铣刀,其包括铣刀主体,铣刀主体设有若干可转位切削刀片。各可转位切削刀片包括四个主切削刃和一个与每个主切削刃相连的副切削刃。在铣刀主体的安装位置,可转位切削刀片具有正轴向前角和正径向前角。可转位切削刀片沿着主切削刃的延伸大体上成螺旋形状。
发明目的和特征
本发明的主要目的是提供一种上述标题限定类型的铣刀和适用于此的可转位切削刀片,所述铣刀能够较大切削深度地机加工工件的直角角部。
本发明的附加目标是开发依照本发明的可转位切削刀片,这是以其寿命期间可以转位四次的方式开发的。
本发明的又另一个目标是开发依照本发明的可转位切削刀片,使得可转位切削刀片在铣刀主体中稳定定位成为可能。
至少本发明的主要目标是借助于具有附带的独立权利要求所述特征的铣刀和可转位切削刀片实现的。本发明的优选实施例被限定在从属权利要求中。

发明优选实施例的详细说明
如图1所示,依照本发明的铣刀包括铣刀主体1,所述铣刀主体1在图1中的下端具有若干切削刀片槽,其中接收有相应数目的可转位切削刀片3。各可转位切削刀片3具有中心孔4,并且各可转位切削片3借助于由中心孔4接收的中心螺钉(未显示)被夹紧在切削刀片槽中。在图1中,画出了铣刀的中心轴线C-C,所述中心轴线C-C还限定了铣刀的旋转轴线及其轴向方向。铣刀的旋转方向R由图1中的箭头描绘出。
铣刀主体1被形成以与位于图1中的上端的工具附件或类似物相连接。
在图2-4中显示了依照本发明的可转位切削刀片的不同透视图。依照本发明的可转位切削刀片3在平面图中大体上为长方形。可转位切削刀片3由直接压制的硬质合金制成。这里的“硬质合金”指的是与金属粘结剂例如Co或Ni烧结组合的WC、TiC、TaC、NbC等等。切削刀片优选至少部分地涂敷有至少一层例如Al2O3、TiN和/或TiCN。在有些情况下,切削刃由钎焊的超硬材料例如CBN或PCD制成,这有根据的。
可转位切削刀片3的高度在图2中表示为H。可转位切削刀片3的宽度在图2中表示为W。在所示的实施例中,H大于W,优选至少比W大30%。
依照本发明的可转位切削刀片3包括两个大体上相同的主表面11、11A。中心孔4在两个主表面11、11A之间延伸。可转位切削刀片3还包括两个长边或侧表面12和两个短边或端表面13。侧表面12和端表面13在切削刀片角部14处相交。而且,主表面11、11A的一部分连接到各切削刀片角部14。正如可转位切削刀片3的平面图所示,坐落在同一主表面上的两个切削刀片角部14对角地相对。在一侧上的其余两个角部不具有任何切削功能。如图1所示,在可转位切削刀片3所包括的四个切削刀片角部14中,在这时只有一个起作用。
主切削刃15开始于各切削刀片角部14,其在可转位切削刀片3的高度方向上并大体上沿着整个相关的侧表面12延伸。而且,一副切削刃16开始于各切削刀片角部14,其在可转位切削刀片3的宽度方向上并大体上沿着相关的端表面13的一部分延伸。连接于主切削刃15和副切削刃16的主表面11、11A的那部分形成断屑槽。

主切削刃15的轴向角的上述设计必然要求:各主切削刃15到坐落于相对支撑表面17A中的平面的垂直距离在从切削角部14到可转位切削刀片3的半高度的区域的方向上增大。各主切削刃15到坐落于相对的支撑表面17A中的平面的垂直距离从可转位切削刀片3的半高度的区域以及从切削角部14朝着不起作用的角部的方向减小。因而,所述距离与被设置在距离当前或起作用的主切削刃15最远处的支撑表面17、17A有关,所以在权利要求书中使用了措辞“背离主切削刃的支撑表面”和“相对的”。各支撑表面17、17A被设置成远离可转位切削刀片的周边,以免干扰切削刃区域。
在图3中,主切削刃由15A描绘,其与主表面11A相关,见图4。主切削刃15A包括主切削刃15′A和15″A的两部分。
