Abstract

本发明公开了一种电连接器端子,用于电性连接芯片模组至印刷电路板,其包括安装至绝缘本体的基部、用于电性连接至印刷电路板的焊接部、自基部上端延伸设置的扭转部及自扭转部延伸设置的弹性部,弹性部末端设有一接触部用于电性连接至芯片模组,其中,扭转部具有扭转特征,此特征使电连接器端子弹性部在水平方向旋转一定角度,减小了电连接器端子在组装时对空间的需求,满足其排列密度日益增大的需求。

【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器端子,尤指一种通过设置扭转部来减小端子在组装时对空间需求的电连接器端子。
【背景技术】
目前,用于连接芯片模组至印刷电路板的导电端子形式多样,其中如US6,652,329、US6,887,114、US6,955,572等美国专利揭示的电连接器端子,其都展现出了这样一种结构特点:电连接器端子包含有一平板状基部用于安装至绝缘本体,其上端延伸出一平板状固持部使导电端子定位更加牢固,下端延伸出焊接部用于焊接至印刷电路板,固持部一侧延伸设置有接触部,接触部设有一接触平面用于电性连接至芯片模组。
上述电连接器至少存在以下缺点:导电端子间在水平方向上的间距过大,不利于导电端子排列密度日益增大的发展趋势。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的是提供一种电连接器端子,其通过设置一扭转部,来减小电连接器端子组装时对空间的需求。
为了实现上述目的,本发明采用如下的技术手段:一种电连接器端子,其包括安装于绝缘本体的基部、用于电性连接至印刷电路板的焊接部、自基部上端延伸的具有扭转特征的扭转部及自扭转部延伸设置的弹性部,弹性部末端设有一接触部用于电性连接至芯片模组,其中,扭转部是以相对于基部所在的平面为基准扭转一定角度而形成。
相对于现有技术,本发明电连接器端子至少具有以下优点:电连接器端子基部的上端设有具有扭转特征的扭转部,此扭转特征使电连接器端子弹性部在水平方向旋转一定角度,借此可减小电连接器端子在组装时对空间的需求,适应电连接器端子排列密度日益增大的发展趋势。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1所示,为本发明一最佳实施例,在本实施例中,电连接器端子1用于电性连接芯片模组(未图示)至印刷电路板(未图示),其包括用于安装至绝缘本体(未图示)的基部12、用于连接至印刷电路板(未图示)的焊接部124及一末端设有接触部162的弹性部16,基部12为竖直平板状结构,其两侧边缘延伸设有倒刺121,用于与绝缘本体(未图示)干涉以固定电连接器端子1,自基部12下方122延伸出一连接部125用于连接至焊接部124,基部12上端延伸出一扭转部14及一固持部13,固持部13为平板状结构,其与基部12为共面设计,用于使电连接器端子1在绝缘本体(未图示)中定位更加牢固,扭转部14与固持部13之间存在间隙,请同时参阅图2所示,扭转部14是以相对于基部12所在的平面为基准扭转一定角度而形成的具有扭转特征的结构,请同时参阅图3所示,此扭转特征使弹性部16在水平方向上形成一个旋转角度A,减小了电连接器端子1在组装时对空间的需求,有利于其排列密度日益增大的发展趋势,从图1可以看出,扭转部14向上延伸出弹性部16,在本实施例中,弹性部16包括一接触部162用于电性连接至芯片模组(未图示)及一弯折部164用于连接接触部162至扭转部14,这并不对本发明构思构成任何限制,弹性部16还可有其他实施方式。
电连接器端子1组装入绝缘本体(未图示)后,其接触部162用于电性连接至芯片模组(未图示),当芯片模组(未图示)组装时,会挤压电连接器端子接触部162,相应弹性部16会发生弹性变形,其产生的弹性力使电连接器端子1与芯片模组(未图示)有更好的接触效果,同时,焊接部124连接至印刷电路板(未图示),电连接器端子1实现了芯片模组(未图示)与印刷电路板(未图示)之间的电性传输。
本发明重点结构在于:具扭转特征的扭转部14的设计使电连接器端子弹性部16在水平方向上旋转一定角度A,减小了电连接器端子1在组装时对空间的需求,有利于其排列密度日益增大的发展趋势。
应当指出,以上所述仅是本发明的一种实施方式,只是为了帮助更好的理解本发明构思,并不对本发明构思构成任何的限制,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明构思的前提下做出的任何等效变换,均为本发明的权利要求所涵盖。

Claims (6)

1.一种电连接器端子,用于电性连接芯片模组至印刷电路板,其包括用于安装至绝缘本体的基部、用于电性连接至印刷电路板的焊接部及一末端设有接触部的弹性部,其特征在于:基部上端延伸设有一具扭转特征的扭转部用于连接至弹性部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述扭转部是以相对于基部所在的平面为基准扭转一定角度而形成。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述弹性部亦设有一弯折部。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述基部侧缘延伸设有倒刺。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述基部上端延伸出一固持部。
6.根据权利要求5所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述扭转部与所述固持部之间存在间隙。
