Abstract

本发明涉及高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料及其制备方法,母料中填充剂70~83wt%,载体树脂5~20wt%,功能性助剂5~21wt%。其制备方法是由以下步骤所构成:(1)先用润滑分散剂和偶联剂在高速混合机内通过高速搅拌对填充剂表面进行第一次包覆处理;(2)再用改性剂在高速混合机内高速搅拌条件下,对填充剂进行第二次包覆处理;(3)最后用载体树脂对填充剂进行第三次包覆处理;(4)将混合料加入到同向双螺杆造粒机中经过塑化、造粒、热切、风冷制成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。用该母料以20wt%比例与HIPS树脂混合制成制品的力学性能接近纯HIPS树脂,但是成本却降低了,而且刚性和热变形温度明显提高,因此具有良好的经济价值。

Description

高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料的制备方法
一、技术领域
本发明涉及一种母料的制备方法,特别是涉及一种高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料的制备方法。具体的说是将价格低廉的填充剂,通过本发明技术制备成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料,再用该母料与高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂按一定比例熔融共混制成无机粉体填充高冲击强度聚苯乙烯制品,以达到降低成本的目的。
二、背景技术
聚苯乙烯是通用塑料之一,作为通用型热塑性工程塑料被广泛应用于各行各业。但是它的脆性大,加入橡胶弹性体共混后变成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯可以显著提高其冲击韧性,但是却大幅度降低了材料的刚性和强度。如何在增加其冲击韧性的同时不大幅度降低刚性和强度,同时也降低材料成本,是聚苯乙烯共混改性研究的热点。
在石油涨价的背景下,石化产品价格猛涨,而塑料制品受市场影响又不能随便涨价,使得塑料加工企业陷入非常困难的境地。如何面对塑料原料涨价,许多单位寻求科技的力量,依靠塑料改性来解决,于是使用填充母料。
用于聚烯烃填充改性母料生产技术,国内外已有诸多专利文献报导,推广应用极其广泛,而且收到显著的经济效益和社会效益,为节约石油资源,满足不同性能要求,提高塑料制品的性能和增加品种作出了重大贡献。由于高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂的组成和结构的特殊性,与聚烯烃树脂不同,用无机粉体填充改性难度较大,实际应用更为少见。
三、发明内容
本发明的目的是解决高冲击强度聚苯乙烯塑料在模量上的不足,进一步提高高冲击强度聚苯乙烯制品的热变形温度,以及降低成本,从而提供一种价格低廉的高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。
本发明是这样实现的:
高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料的制备方法,其特征在于包括填充剂、功能性助剂、载体树脂、填充剂表面处理方法、填充母料的制备工艺。填充母料中填充剂含量为70-83wt%、载体树脂5-20wt%、功能性助剂5-21wt%。
所述的填充剂为滑石粉、碳酸钙、硅灰石粉、云母粉、高岭土、水镁石粉、膨润土、硅藻土、浮石粉中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。
所述的载体树脂为聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、丙烯腈-苯乙烯共聚物、丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。
所述的功能性助剂(1)偶联剂:硅烷偶联剂、钛酸酯偶联剂、铝酸酯偶联剂、稀土偶联剂、铝钛复合偶联剂中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;(2)润滑分散剂:石蜡、聚乙烯蜡、氧化聚乙烯蜡、聚丙烯蜡、脂肪酸、脂肪酸盐、脂肪酰胺、脂肪酸酯中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。(3)改性剂:无规共聚聚丙烯、苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、乙烯-辛烯共聚物弹性体、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。母料中功能性助剂总的含量为5-21wt%,其中偶联剂为1-3wt%、润滑分散剂为2-8wt%、改性剂为2-10wt%。
所述的制备方法是由以下步骤所构成:(1)先用润滑分散剂和偶联剂在高速混合机内通过高速搅拌对填充剂表面进行第一次包覆处理;(2)再用改性剂在高速混合机内100-120摄氏度高速搅拌条件下,对填充剂进行第二次包覆处理;
(3)最后用载体树脂对填充剂进行第三次包覆处理;(4)将混合料加入到同向双螺杆造粒机中经过塑化、造粒、热切、风冷制成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。
本发明对无机粉体粒子采用多层包覆活化处理技术,使无机粉体粒子表面形成一层既能与无机粒子产生强结合力,又能与载体树脂之间以化学键或强范德华力相结合的弹性膜,只有多层包覆技术才能具有这种效果。多层包覆无机粒子可以均匀地分散到基体树脂中,当材料受到外力作用时,弹性膜可以起到缓冲和分散应力的作用,从而提高制品的韧性和抗冲击性能。
本发明所用填充剂是滑石粉、碳酸钙、硅灰石粉、云母粉、高岭土、水镁石粉、膨润土、硅藻土、浮石粉中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。选择长径比大的填充剂效果好,用两种或两种以上混合粉比单一粉效果好。
功能性助剂是影响本发明生产的高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料性能的关键。偶联剂的作用是直接在填充剂表面以化学或物理作用力形成一层薄膜,增加亲和力。改性剂的作用是使填充剂与载体树脂之间以弹性界面的形式牢固地结合成一体。润滑分散剂的作用除保证填充剂在载体树脂中较好分散外,还能促使母料在与高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂熔融共混时均匀地分散在基体树脂中。
本发明所用的偶联剂是:硅烷偶联剂、钛酸酯偶联剂、铝酸酯偶联剂、稀土偶联剂、铝钛复合偶联剂中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。用量为母料质量的1-3wt%,不同偶联剂或不同量效果不同。两种及两种以上混合物比单一偶联剂效果好。该性剂是:无规共聚聚丙烯、苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、乙烯-辛烯共聚物弹性体、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物,用量为母料质量的2-10wt%,使用无规共聚聚丙烯和三元乙丙橡胶的效果要好。润滑分散剂有:石蜡、聚乙烯蜡、氧化聚乙烯蜡、聚丙烯蜡、脂肪酸、脂肪酸盐、脂肪酰胺、脂肪酸酯中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物。用量为母料质量的2-8wt%。
与制备聚烯烃填充母粒不同,高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂不是单一组分,而是由两种性能绝然不同的组分共混而成。为了使母料在高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂中均匀分散,并与之形成单一均相关系,母料载体树脂的选择是本发明核心技术之一。载体树脂既要与包膜后的填充剂粒子之间形成较强结合力,又要与高冲击强度聚苯乙烯树脂具有较好地相容性而且载体树脂本身还要具有较好的流动性、分散性和可加工性。单一的或未改性的某一种树脂难以同时满足上述诸多性能要求,必须采用改性树脂或几种不同性能树脂的混合物,利用它们之间性能互补或相互间的协同作用来满足载体树脂性能要求。本发明所用载体树脂有:聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、丙烯腈-苯乙烯共聚物、丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上混合物,母料中载体树脂的含量为5-20wt%。
本发明高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料的生产工艺主要为两部分,即填充剂的表面多层包覆处理和双螺杆挤出造粒机挤出造粒。先用润滑分散剂和偶联剂在高速混合机内通过高速搅拌对填充剂表面进行第一次包覆处理;再用改性剂在高速混合机内100-120摄氏度高速搅拌条件下,对填充剂进行第二次包覆处理;最后用载体树脂对填充剂进行第三次包覆处理;然后将混合料加入到同向双螺杆造粒机中经过塑化、造粒、热切、风冷制成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。
本发明所生产的高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料可赋予高冲击强度聚苯乙烯制品增刚增韧的功能外,还可以明显降低原料成本。提高生产效率,具有较好的经济效益和社会效益。
实施例一
取50公斤滑石粉和25公斤碳酸钙投入到200升高速混合机中,启动搅拌在高速搅拌下加入1公斤液体石蜡和1.5公斤的单硬脂酸甘油酯和1.5公斤铝酸酯偶联剂,高速搅拌5分钟后再加入5公斤无规共聚聚丙烯,继续搅拌8分钟,最后加入8公斤聚苯乙烯树脂和8公斤丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物树脂再搅拌5分钟,将混合物加入同向双螺杆造粒机挤出造粒,制得高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。
实施例二
取40公斤滑石粉和40公斤碳酸钙投入到200升高速混合机中,启动搅拌在高速搅拌下加入1公斤石蜡和1公斤的硬脂酸和0.5公斤铝酸酯偶联剂和0.5公斤钛酸酯偶联剂,高速搅拌5分钟后再加入5公斤三元乙丙橡胶,继续搅拌8分钟,最后加入10公斤聚苯乙烯树脂和2公斤丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物树脂再搅拌5分钟,将混合物加入同向双螺杆造粒机挤出造粒,制得高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。

1、高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料的制备方法,其特征在于填充母料中填充剂含量为70-83wt%、载体树脂5-20wt%、功能性助剂5-21wt%;功能性助剂包括偶联剂1-3wt%、润滑分散剂2-8wt%、改性剂2-10wt%;其中填充剂为滑石粉、碳酸钙、硅灰石粉、云母粉、高岭土、水镁石粉、膨润土、硅藻土、浮石粉中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;载体树脂为聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、丙烯腈-苯乙烯共聚物、丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;偶联剂为硅烷偶联剂、钛酸酯偶联剂、铝酸酯偶联剂、稀土偶联剂、铝钛复合偶联剂中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;润滑分散剂为石蜡、聚乙烯蜡、氧化聚乙烯蜡、聚丙烯蜡、脂肪酸、脂肪酸盐、脂肪酸酯中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;改性剂为无规共聚聚丙烯、苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物、乙烯-辛烯共聚物弹性体、三元乙丙橡胶中的一种或两种及两种以上的混合物;
上述材料通过以下步骤制备填充母料:
(1)先用润滑分散剂和偶联剂在高速混合机内通过高速搅拌对填充剂表面进行第一次包覆处理;(2)改用改性剂在高速混合机内于100-120摄氏度高速搅拌条件下,对填充剂进行第二次包覆处理;(3)最后用载体树脂对填充剂进行第三次包覆处理;(4)将混合料加入到同向双螺杆造粒机中经过塑化、造粒、热切、风冷制成高冲击强度聚苯乙烯增刚增韧填充母料。
