Abstract
Un método para recuperar un reactivo en donde el reactivo comprende un grupo funcional tiocarbonilo secuestrado en material que comprende al menos un sulfuro de metal base, el método comprende enjuagar el material con una solución de lavado que comprende iones de metal base para producir una solución de lavado cargada (PWS) que comprende el reactivo, en donde el grupo funcional tiocarbonilo del reactivo tiene un azufre que soporta una carga negativa parcial, que soporta una superficie de potencial electrostático negativo y tiene un orbital π*-antienlace vacío como su orbital molecular no ocupado más bajo. Un método para recuperar al menos un metal base de un material que comprende al menos un sulfuro de metal base, que comprende: - recuperar un reactivo que comprende un grupo funcional tiocarbonilo secuestrado en material que comprende al menos un sulfuro de metal base de acuerdo con el método anterior; - mezclar el reactivo recuperado con una solución de sulfato ácido que comprende sulfato férrico para formar un lixiviante; - contactar el material con el lixiviante para extraer los iones de metal base de al menos un sulfuro de metal base para producir una solución cargada que comprende iones de metal base
